michaela - Friday, 25 April They really do grow quick, Sabah will be 6 months on tuesday (29th). She loves to stand and sit up, although she needs support, she's not keen on lying down at all. As yet she hasn't shown any interest in crawling or even rolling completely over. I'm not back to work until the end of July, to be honest there are times that i do crave adult company, i've got a good circle of friends who recently had babies so we meet for coffee or lunch regularly which helps my sanity. We are heading off on Holiday in November- a cruise in the caribbean, i'm hoping she'll be slow on the walking as she'll be 13 months then. She was slow at the eating too, she's only gone to 3 meals a day today, as every time before she either refuse or was sick. All the best and talk to you again soon. xx
michaela - Friday, 25 April He's just soooo cute, gonna break a few hearts when he's older!!!
bellybumbles - Thursday, 24 April i was reading your comment about self reliance and i totally agree and could write a thesis on that topic, lol. especially working in education :P I'm hoping our generation is the revolution that raises their kids to understand that you need to work hard to get 1st place, or a job, or anything. I'm so tired of everybody 'making the team', and everybody getting awards, it makes even the best people lazier and encourages mediocracy. ugh! lol. other than that, aren;t the babies so fun?! lol. have a good day! and sorry for the ramble.
babyJSL - Thursday, 24 April Bri ~You should get the plastic Born Free bottle. The plastic one are BPA free as well. You don't need to switch to glass if you are switching to Born Free. All Born Free, including the plastic are bpa free. I don't recommend glass because the glass bottle are heavy and worst of all, it will make you paranoid every time you are holding it. Paranoid that you might brake it. Believe me, I've tried it. It drove me crazy when I leave the glass bottle out on the table when I just need to step out for a second. Also when I'm waste it, I try not to touch the glass bottle against the sink. Paranoid!
bigbellyjess - Wednesday, 23 April Bri- I can't believe she put her knuckles in your childs mouth. HANDS ARE SO DAMN DIRTY!!!!!!!! That pisses me off and when I see parents do it especially while they're shopping in grocery stores or walking down the street it makes me even crazier because you know they have been touching money, groceries, railing for going up stairs..... I would freak out if anyone did that to my baby and you should too!!!!
thx4grace - Wednesday, 23 April Thank you for the comment about the sleepsacks. Guess I will buy some. Wasn't wanting to spend the money if they are not that fabulous. Cool!
megcantwaitforherfirst - Tuesday, 22 April you are so very helpful aha u answer like all my questions it seems lol

niseybear - Tuesday, 22 April How are you lady? I have new pictures of Mo on my page if you're interested. Be blessed.
atrip1 - Monday, 21 April Thankyou so much for that advice =) I listen to like my older relatives and they were all "you need to wait till the baby is a year old!" lol The wind and the air is gonna get to the baby...crazy stuff like that
megcantwaitforherfirst - Sunday, 20 April would it be okay to use the wide ones if im not breastfeeding i mean im gonna breastfeed im just gonna pump and not use the breast probably
but can i use the wide ones if i dont ever use the breast
chiquiz8 - Sunday, 20 April hi bri was reading about your cold, well when i had colds and still i use benadryl and tylenold cold or multisimphoms is safe for breastfeeding and pregnancy, and it also helps, if they dont help and you have this cold for more than a wk then call ur dr he/she should be able to prescribe something to help you, the last cold i had i was still pregnant and wouldnt go away with nothing till in labor dr gave me something and then send me home with 3more miracle pills that cured me right away i just dont remember what it was but it sure helped. So im sure your dr can help if anything else helps, congrats on your baby and that you choose to breastfeed, not many women want to bf now......i breast feed all of my older 3kids and now continuing with my 2mth old 4th baby is great to breastfeed....
take care and hope this helps.
Ange - Saturday, 19 April Heya Bri just wanted to stop by to say hi and see how you guys were :). when did all these changes happen man its so different.
ambrielles mommy - Friday, 18 April aww they are soo cute together!
MOMMI~NICOLE - Thursday, 17 April Yup, a vicious cycle that keeps women dependent on the system...also it frustrates me to see these mothers not really working, yet they get soooo much assistance from the state to be lazy! They get free food, free medical care, free childcare (I don't qualify b/c I make too much $$?!), free transportation, living (rent) assistance..you name it! And all I get help with is WIC, which helps ALOT, but I think that the state has it's priorities really screwed up. Women are getting rewauthanks for letting me vent :o)
babymck - Thursday, 17 April Thank you for your comment, I have just bathed her and she seems to be fine, will watch out for her over night.
srm31 - Thursday, 17 April hi , it's sabaroe here. I figured out how to transfer over my old page. Anyways you gave me alot of support a few weeks ago w/ breastfeeding and I wanted to say thanks. Sadly no matter what herbs and how much I pumped my milk supply did not increase. I only BF her 2 times a day now pretty much for my sanity so I feel like were bonding and still having a bit of the experience but have had to bottle feed most of the time. The babys doing better though , gaining weight etc. At least I tried.........justt wish I didnt feel so much guilt!
Munkobaby - Thursday, 17 April Thanks so much! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Yep, here we are... our babies are here with us - now if the sun would just stay out so that we can enjoy the outdoors around here - that would be fantastic. I am feeling pretty good now, had a hemorraging problem a week ago, but after taking a medication that contracted me like crazy, it's over and I am on the mends now. The things we go thru, huh? How is your little man doing? Was going back to work okay for you? I know you were having a hard time with that. Anyway, hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Big hugs from Kirkland! xoxoj
MOMMI~NICOLE - Wednesday, 16 April How sweet and thoughtful of you!!! That really made my day! After I lost my sis, I really stopped feeling ashamed of my situation and became so thankful that everything happened the way it did :o) I wouldn't want to stay home with them all day though...LOL!...Would lose my mind! Childcare is outrageous and keeps going up! I don't get it. If I didn't have to pay so much in childcare, with my salary, we could do alot more with that money, so it feels wasted, but one day we won't have to pay it anymore :o) And actually sometimes I am thankful NOT to have a husband, b/c usually they are like another kid to take care of, argue with and clean up after ;) Take care, luv!
babymakes3 - Wednesday, 16 April Thanks for the advice on mastitis. I'm pretty good about emptying my breasts during feedings, but I did have a milk blister & a clogged duct that I just couldn't work out. I'm wondering how I got it to begin with. It's very frustrating but worth working through it. Thanks for the support. :)
niseybear - Tuesday, 15 April I think I'm going to have stop taking Fenugreek, the strangest thing has happened. The past two nights on early morning feedings, once at 1am the other at 3am I have thrown up the MOMENT Mo starts to breastfeed. If it was the food, I'm sure I would have woken up out of a dead sleep like I used to and thrown up not while breastfeeding. It only happens then in the early morning and no other time, it's VERY weird. So I'm not going to take it today and see what happens. I'm also going to breastfeed more today and pump when I can to help with my supply. I did get a bit more so I suppose the fenugreek was working. I hadn't got the smell yet, but I probably wasn't taking quite enough. I have to go pick up some more storage bags today, I only have one left. My supply of milk in the freezer is VERY low, so I need to pump probably twice a day at least. Wish me luck, I don't want to wean him already. I suppose if I feed more that will help. It's a supply and demand thing. The more I need, the more I should make.
ajen - Monday, 14 April hey- i wanted a boy--but im glad i got my girl first! i hope to have a boy next-- and im going to try and just have sex right when im ovulating. i think i got a girl because we had sex all the time to get pregnant-and the boy sperm die off faster, and then the girl sperm are still waiting around when the egg comes. ive done my research! i will be the first in my family to have a boy and hope i can do it! good luck!
