your son looks super cute!

Hi- I'm just curious how you're doing with the thrush. I have had it for weeks now and have just given up on trying to get rid of it hoping that when I quit breastfeeding (in 6 more months!) that I'll get rid of it that way. It is so frustrating! My baby has never had any visible symptoms. Ughhh. I believe mine started with the antibiotics I had to take for mastitis which I had 2x the first six weeks! Anyway, I was curious how you're doing. I hope well! :-)

niseybear - Wednesday, 9 April
Ah! I'll have to pump in the morning then. He sleeps through the night sometimes, such as last night so I should be good to go. I'll give him a 6oz bottle and then put him in his activity center and that should give me the time I need to pump. I will try tomorrow before the fenugreek arrives to see how I do. Thanks again. You're a knowledge of info!!!

niseybear - Wednesday, 9 April
Hey Bri! Thanks for the info! You are so full of information. I ordered my vitamins online, I prefer kosher ones if possible since that's the way hubby and I eat so I look for kosher vitamins first before going to the store. I ordered them from the website koshervitamins.com. The instructions on the bottle only said one capsule once a day. I've seen others that say 2 or 3 times. How often did you do it? I know it's an herb so I'm not concerned with it harming me or the baby. Obviously, I wouldn't have ordered it. I know you can overtake something, but I'd like to hear your input since you really seem up on things. I hope it works. I need to pump and I'm not getting much at all. Thanks again! Take care!

Thanks for the info! I have been looking at that one-it's just the price that I hate!!

Thanks for your reply to my question about fenugreek. I went to the Health Food store to buy some and they recommended that I use a product called More Milk. It has fenugreek and a few other herbs in it, it is supposed to work great. Only thing is they were out so I have to go back on Monday to pick it up. In the meantime I picked up some Mother's Milk tea which seems to be helping a little (I know the teas take longer to work).

Thanks Again!!!

Well you must be excited for summer too! How much fenugreek do you take each day? I take 3 capsules 3 times a day, but my results are not as dramatic as yours!

Thanks for your post, I love your pic too, you look so serene!
Doing much better today, and so is bubs! My partner is home for a few days and he has been great, i just don't think he realised how stressed and tired I had become! He cleaned the house and cooked dinner last night. :P I love the name Kekoa, are you or your husband originally from Hawaii?

Munkobaby - Monday, 24 Mar
So ladies... yep, it's really ME! Here's a short version of THURSDAY... had the amnio around noon... went into labor around 6 p.m. (believe it or not, it was rather exciting since I have never experienced any of that before) Dr. came in and said, he wants to come out today, so let's let him show off alittle bit. So at 11:05 p.m. on the 20th, our sweet little man was born. I just got home hours ago, and will put up more pix later - but have added a few now as well. I LOVE YOU LADIES - YOU ARE ALL SIMPLY THE BEST. All my love! xoxoxoj

hi bri
i opened my own indoor playground when Amalie was just 10weeks old so i know that feeling of working and then coming home to work some more. I plan to make the food on my weekends and freeze some so that its ready just like the store bought food. Good luck to you Kasia Harris

Hey Bri. I saw your comment yesterday about possibly having thrush and saw that you mentioned that your son has a bad diaper rash from his antiobiotic. My daugther got thrush from antiobiotics and also got a terrible diaper rash out of the blue. We tried 'naked time' but that didn't even work. Turns out she had a yeast infection type of diaper rash that required special ointment. Perhaps thats what your son is dealing with???

JenJen - Friday, 14 Mar
Both me and my husband had real bad ear infections as children and I still get them now, so I was shocked when they didn't give her anything when they said her ears were full of fluid. My mom declined tubes for me as a kid but most of my family had gotten them. Thanks for the good wishes!

JenJen - Thursday, 13 Mar
At least your doctors do antibiotics and medications. I was really upset when they did not give Haylie anything. I mean she is 7 months old! Then they forced me to get her 4 shots from her 6 month appointment that we postponed because she was sick then too. Now my oldest daughter and I have whatever Haylie has and are all sick now too. I am not liking military doctors right now lol. Oh and to make things worse. I have a dentist appointment at 9am tomorrow morning and I can't breathe through my nose but I have waited months to get this appointment.....lol

I appreciate your feedback. I am glad someone else is in the same boat yet I wish the poor little babies weren't sick. Thanks again! :)

sabsi - Wednesday, 12 Mar
Wow, well I am right now in hawaii and when I came across your website I could see right away that his name was hawaiian, just because I live on Kamehameha highway,so I knew ;),which is close to mehameha.

sabsi - Wednesday, 12 Mar

Hey sweetie. So good to hear from you and to see that everything is going so well for you and your little man. I can't believe it's already been 4 months... goodness time is flying by. He seems to be reaching a lot of great milestones now, which is so exciting to watch and to write down in a book. I am sure it's hard for you to go to work and all, I can't imagine being at work now with my girls and this new one coming. I feel extremely lucky. Only 14 days left for me - I can't wait anymore - everytrhing is pretty much ready for him to get here. Have a wonderful weekend - I hope the sun stays around here for alittle bit longer, the girls have been loving being outside. xoxoj

Hi :) she finally took the bottle!!! lol i had to just restrain myself and not nurse her and allowed my mother to feed her. Althogh i didnt give her the rice cereal then this last week the doctor told me she may have acid reflux. so the ped told me to add rice cereal because it helps. :( You baby is soo cute :) I had a c-section as well, did u have one by choice?

JenB23 - Saturday, 1 Mar

Ugh, I am in a HUGE fight with my in-laws. It is awful. My hubby and I are not speaking to them AT ALL! Which of course means that we have limited all ineraction with the kids and them. Trust me, what they did was HUGE! I would never want to hurt my children if it wasn't HUGE! It was good to get out today and go be with other humans. :-)

butterblocksmom - Thursday, 14 Feb
Awwww...your baby is so cute!!! Thx for your info regarding the nipple cream. Man, I feel like I just sat down in class and they they are handing out midterms...and no one told me there was an exam...yikes! SO much to learn!!!

MELISSAW. - Saturday, 9 Feb
Bri! Wow! Kekoa is way ahead for his age! Fantastic! Whatever you are doing, keep up the good work! I bet your first week back to work was hard. You will both be fine. I missed you, I am glad you are back online more. :-)
