nikkin - Thursday, 7 Feb hey how are you ?? i wish i could have just given my first daughter nothing more than milk for the first 6 months but believe me its impossible, she was very happy on it till she was 14 weeks and then she would wake every 3 or 4 hours for a feed of a 8oz bottle and still be hungry because unfortuantely the milk just wasnt filling her up, i hope it works for you, but my new daughter is going the same way i fear she is starting to wake up in the nite and i think i will have to start her on baby rice next week cos the sleepless nites are kicking in again - HELP !! x
MELISSAW. - Thursday, 7 Feb Aww, Hun, it should get easier. I can imagine what your going through with the separation.
I just had my wisdom tooth removed a few hours ago. Thank goodness the Evan is sleeping well for me. I heard that there is a good chance I may be in more pain tomorrow vs. today. Ugh.
How is Chris dealing with the center? Did they say he was sleeping well or enjoyed the sound of others? Babies are such social creatures. Whenever mine is around kids, he is enchanted. :-) Anyway, it is good to see you back to the site more consistently. Hang in there. :-)
MELISSAW. - Thursday, 7 Feb Hey lady. How are you? I read you are back at work. Does it feel weird? Or like you didn't miss a beat?
MELISSAW. - Saturday, 2 Feb Hey lady :-) How are you?
Ms. Nikki - Tuesday, 22 Jan i love your sons name!!! congratz on the baby!!
nikkin - Monday, 21 Jan OMG - i am sooo sorry i didnt mean to offend you, my mind is elsewhere at the moment as you can appreciate with baby stuff and sleepless nites and constant nappy changes, apologies for upsetting i never meant it that way xx
munkobaby - Tuesday, 15 Jan How'd you like the snow this morning? Fun huh? The girls loved it, Taylor got to sleep in an extra couple hours and I got to drive her to school in it. I actually love it when it snows - it's funny how things shut down around here though. They didnt' even pick up our garbage today??? Nuts. Glad to hear little man is doing so well. Sleeping through the night is definitely something to celebrate! SO, do you go back to work on Feb. 11? Have you found a good daycare that you feel good about? That's the most important thing. It's great to hear from you honey! My pregnancy is going okay. I have a hernia and there's nothign that can be done about it until after I recover from the csection. I have a long time to live with it, and it's so painful. Other than that, I have no complaints. Big hugs! xoxoxj
MELISSAW. - Sunday, 6 Jan ugh... did you get your period yet? Oh god, it was a doozy! I felt terrible. Hey, don't worry about the weight. I'm not. :-) Weight Watchers, here I come! LOL! I can tell from your pictures that you have a thick bone structure and you are super tall. Lucky girl.... !!!! A size 14 is GREAT! I am in a 16 right now. :-(
MELISSAW. - Saturday, 5 Jan Awwww... Bri... that was so sweet. I have 2 seconds to respond and I have to go take care of Evan, But I wanted to say the same sentiments. I don't know how I would have gotten though this pregnancy without you and I consider you one of my closest friends also. Good night lady, kisses! :-) PS... we will def stay in touch!!
MELISSAW. - Friday, 4 Jan Hummmm... where do I begin? When I first brought Evan home, all he did is take cat naps all day long. And he wanted to be held constantly. Now, I can lay him down on the couch next to me (like now) and he just looks around and Coo's for a while. What you have to start doing is let him fuss a bit. He needs to get used to keeping himself content for a bit or he will not be happy at daycare. And that would just break your heart. Don't leave him lay until he is crying... but let him fuss a little.
It is tough because Kekoa is your first. And your lacking confidence and I swear they know! Once you are more relaxed, he will come around. I feed Evan and give him tons of kisses and play with him until he falls asleep... then I lay him down. Whether he wakes or not. Then I only pick him up if he cries. It is to the point that he doesn't wake and just sleeps.
Evan takes a 1-2 hour nap in the morning, then cat naps till a late afternoon nap. He takes a bottle every 3 hours, about 5 ounces and rarely misses a feeding. :-) My chunky monkey.
Once Kekoa can amuse himself more, you'll be able to relax and not feel like your day is constantly trying to amuse him. It is a frantic feeling...like 'now what do I do with him?'... but it doesn't have to feel like that. I hope this helps. :-) And then yes, I clean or do laundry or make bottles. It never ends. But I work around him. Yesterday I started cleaning my kitchen cabinets and had to stop half way through and couldn't finish them until today. Oh well. Hang in there lady. Oh, I just picked up Baby Einstein video for 3 month old babies... I will let you know if it works. :-)
MELISSAW. - Thursday, 3 Jan Hello Lady! We are all good. It is nice to hear you enjoyed your holidays. Our holidays were quiet. Before I forget.... NOPE, not skinny, I have gained 5 pounds since I had the baby. I had to diet while pregnant with diabetes. Not fun. :-) I can not believe how quick the time is going. Evan is getting much easier to care for. I am actually able to get more stuff done around the house. Oh gosh, I just love having a baby in the house again. Makes me want more. Are you ready to go back to work? I bet your family enjoyed Kekoa. Isn't it great to get a break? I miss that. My MIL used to love my babies as much as I do, but now she lives too far away. And my mom is not very lovie. Oh well. So, what else is new? How is Joe with the little guy? Russ has been a workaholic through the holidays. I may not even see him till February. He got a monster bonus, but it doesn't make up for not having him around. Evan is fussing.... chat later. :-)
MELISSAW. - Monday, 31 Dec Hey! How are you? I am going to be on the 2 month page tomorrow. Hope your up for some chatting! Miss you
Jamiekid - Monday, 31 Dec Bri, your son is beautiful. I haven't been on in a while so I am just catching up now. Congrats. How are things going?
MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 3 Oct That is so weird! I can read your profile. It is funny, but I knew there might be an out cry of people saying something about the caesar salads as I pushed the button. I know we are not supposed to eat them.....this is where I play chicken. :-) How are you? I know when you are anxious or upset, we really don't here much from you. So, I have really been wondering! I really need to get out of the house for a bit today. I need a few things from Michaels Crafts. I am trying to consertively decorate for Halloween. Who knows, I might have my baby!
Micheleandbaby - Wednesday, 3 Oct Thanks for the comment about Ceasar dressing. I love Ceasar salads, but I haven't been able to find any dressings not made with raw eggs. If you have a brand to suggest and maybe where I could get it that would be much appreciated. I used to ask when we would dine out, but finally gave up. Hope all is well with you.

MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 26 Sep Bri, where you be? I haven't had too much to say lately.... except for today. I am chattier. All unpacked? Did you start working on the baby's room? How is work going????
MELISSAW. - Friday, 21 Sep HI BRI! Great day! They cancelled my appointment and reschedualed for this morning. It was tuff in traffic to get to the doctor's office, but well worth it! I will just repost my message on your page.......
Hi everyone! I just got back from my ultrasound and am soooo excited! I am exactly 32 weeks and 6 days. The baby's head is measuring at 35 weeks, leg bone at 35 weeks and belly at 34 weeks. The doctor looked over my measurements and said 'Wow! Big baby!' He said they are going to induce me at 38 weeks. When they add up the measurements, they believe the baby now weights 5 lbs and 6 oz! The baby was practicing breathing and sucking on his wrist. What a day! I feel so informed. We looked at all the major organs and everything is great. I am on cloud nine!
Jamiekid - Thursday, 20 Sep Just stopping by to see how things are going:)
MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 19 Sep Same OL same OL here. Nothing too much new. I see the doctor tomorrow and I am 95% sure I am going on insulin because I have high morning blood sugar levels. But, good news... I am having my ultrasound! I can not wait to find out if I wasted money on newborn size clothing or if I should have just skipped to 3-6 Months. LOL! I will let you know how much the baby weighs tomorrow. Hee Hee. I have been sticking to my diet, I have a new appreciation for people with type II diabetes. I down right feel real sorry for them. Well, at least I am not the only one ready to kill the world. I am hoping the mood picks up. I knew this move would be so hard on you. But it sounds like you are almost done. Hang in there lady! :-)
MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 19 Sep Hey , how are you? I have been a real crabby patty lately. The hormones are causing me to release my anger. I try to keep it away from my family but it is hard. Some people cry, I get mad at the world. Anyhow... how did the move go? Are you unpacking everything? Been thinkin about you.
