MELISSAW. - Thursday, 13 Sep
Okay, just got back from the doctors office. My blood numbers look good, but I may have to be put on insulin. The doctor wants to see me again in another week. I have lost a pound. :-) Good news: I get another ultrasound! The baby is measuring at 33 weeks, although he said it may be because the baby has not dropped yet. Interesting. I am starting to feel better now. I was riding an emotional rollercoaster. I cried for no reason on the highway home. So sad. Hope your day is going well.

MELISSAW. - Thursday, 13 Sep
Hey Lady, the site was slow for a bit this morning. Ugh. Thanks for the 'good lucks'. I need to relax. I am just making myself sick today. And it is good to hear that your appointment went well. I think I am going to stop at the Baby Gap on the way home. I have a $20.00 rewards certificate to use and maybe it will make me feel better. I have been nervous to buy too much because I fear I am going to give birth to a 12 pounder. When I was at the dietician, she pointed to the wall of baby pictures and said '12, 10, 11 pound babies'. I am nervous. Did the doctor say that it looks like yours will be big? I remember you saying that it was common in your family. If the baby is 12 pounds can we elect a c-section? I pushed out my first who was 8 lbs 7 ozs and a head the size of a melon..... and recovery from that was really hard and I lost a lot of blood. I can't imagine which is worse? I just found out that my sis-in-law is finally pregnant. She is 9 weeks now. I hope everything works out for her. She lost the last baby because of lack of hormones. How is your sister doing? Oh and that girlfriend of yours that is pregnant? Well, I am sure I will log on later. Kisses, Mel

Okay thanks! I don't feel it until I lay down...I feel a lot of pressure while I'm standing and walking.

MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 12 Sep
Boss over the shoulder, not such a good thing? You must be busy moving. Sorry so crappy the other day. Just one of those kinds of days. I have lots on my mind and sometimes even the little things can throw me for a loop. Too too much on my mind :-( Dscanyi was wondering where you were also.

Kylene - Sunday, 9 Sep

MELISSAW. - Sunday, 9 Sep
You should just go out! Have a great time. You have been working so hard! If only men got that nesting urge like woman.... could you imagine that amount of stuff that would get done? If only.....

MELISSAW. - Saturday, 8 Sep
Ugh! Bite your tongue lady! Early, hope not. I think the doctor is wanting to get a good handle on my glucose levels and keep an ear on the baby's heart rate. I found out the most doctors will refer you to specialist when you get diagnosed with GD. But mine is keeping me, thank god! I would have been devastated if I lost my OB. I feel for you with your hubby MIA. You must be so ready to get stuff put away. Then, you have lots of shopping to do!!! That is the fun stuff! I get overwhelmed whenever I go to Babies R Us. I think of a million things I want and then forget them all when I get through the doors. They have the cutest little shoes there. Are you still going to do the Ocean bedding? Or did you find a surfing set? Anyway, my hubby is off in Texas. This is going to be a ruff month for me and the kids. He is going to come home tomorrow and then towards the end of the week, he will leave for Texas again for 10 days or more! That will be hard. I am just so lonely without him here. Well, I am going to try and call him now. I was supposed to clean the house this afternoon, but nope! I know all about that ambition thing. :-( LOL!

MELISSAW. - Saturday, 8 Sep
I really like Ryan Kekoa. That sounds nice. So, when are you moving the furniture? Make sure you don't over do it. :-) My OB didn't say much to be honest. He just said the heart sounded good and he wanted to see me again in 1 week. I don't know if he will be monitoring me weekly or what? My blood sugar seems to be okay. Other than that, things are really quiet. Good luck with your move, and congrats again on your new home. :-)

MELISSAW. - Thursday, 6 Sep
Hey Bri, sorry your so busy. :-( Everything is good with me. Met the dietician yesterday. My sugars have been good and level. Makes ya wonder if I really have a problem? Reguardless, the diet is healthy and the doctor wants me on a 2200 calerie limit. Who can't live with that? Today is my doctors (OB) appointment, so we shall see what he says. How are you feeling?????? Do you get your keys today or tomorrow?

NikkiN - Wednesday, 5 Sep
oh hun i cant believe you are moving, you make sure you dont lift anything too heavy - how are you feeling x

NikkiN - Wednesday, 5 Sep
heya how are you?? i had an appointment with my midwife yesterday and she confirmed baby is head down and has dropped, i have told her about my pains i had and she has said i have to take it real easy as it sounds like i might have a premature birth, she felt the baby and i could feel the baby's feet, i know she is small cos my daughter was only 6lb 5oz and was one day early. i am still having loads of mild contractions but she told me unless they get too bad and are comin every 10 mins then just take it easy, but like she said i have had a child already so i hope i will know when i need to get to hospital the trouble here is bri that our hospital cant have babies under 32 weeks as they dont have the facilities and i would have to go by helicoptor to the mainland and have her there so fingers crossed i at least see it past 32 weeks anyway sorry for goin on a bit, hope you are well xxx

MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 5 Sep

Mamis1st - Thursday, 30 Aug
ya im not worried about the actual laboring process which may sound really weird. im worried about the dilitation, and effacement...and the water breaking...and even more worried about how hes doing now that hes so big and almost ready to pop! its just all anxiety!! lol I was just sent a heart monitor in the mail from a friend so im sure that will totally put my mind at ease =P

Dcsanyi - Thursday, 30 Aug
Bri there is a iron supplement out there call Slow Fe or something close to that that is suppose to be more gentle on your system and you can find at CVS or walgreen. It might help with the constipation and there is a juice that is called PlumSmart and it taste great over Ice and works wonders. I hope this helps :-)

MaMiS1St - Thursday, 30 Aug
yes very true. im just being impatient when i should be greatful. But like i said im worried as well because ive never been through this before you know?!? its all new and most are afraid of the unknown!! heh

MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 29 Aug
Yeah Bri, we will have to drop the weight together. I am so hungry right now. It is 7pm and we just got home from Soccer practice. Oh, Aaron is like the star player because he is left footed. The coach was thrilled! Plus he is bigger than the other kids and can kick the ball into the air. I am sooooo excited for Aaron, this is the first time any of my kids have been 'good' at anything sports. Well, I have to run. Making dinner. Boooo! Till tomorrow!

MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 29 Aug
Anyway, it is good to hear that your thumb is somewhat usuable. I bet it hurts starting the car! Well, I just told my hubby because of the GD, they may induce me early. We may only have 8 weeks left come this weekend! I think I can deal with that and this diet. This is the first time on a diet where I am not trying to loose any weight! LOL!

MELISSAW. - Wednesday, 29 Aug
I think you are right about the registry. They might be out for the money. This is the girl that is on anti psychotic drugs. Maybe she was just having an episode? LOL!

blueberry mckay - Wednesday, 29 Aug
Yea, my stomach is still upset from drinking the glucose stuff this morning, but hopefully it will pass!
