Let's see--I'll start by telling a bit about our little family unit. My husband, Jesse, and I were high school sweethearts. We dated all through college, and just recently got married on September 8th, 2007. We dated for almost 8 years (but what can you do when you meet when you're 16 and 18!). I'll take a moment to say that I'm so thankful to have my husband in my life--he's my best friend and absolutely wonderful (certainly not perfect) but wonderful still! :) We had our first little one on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. His name is Jackson David ("Jack"). He has such a sweet and calm disposition, and we might be biased, but we think he's absolutely precious! :)

Well, my profile was getting ENTIRELY too long, so I decided to move all of my previous posts to blog form! So I suppose from this point forward I'll just post blogs with updates from my week!

So... Just a little while longer until Hubby and I get to see our baby girl, We couldn't be any more excited!!

I'm in the process of packing my to-go bag for the hospital, But I have hit a bit of a hump, What to pack?? Since this is my first child, I don't have any idea on what to put in the bag.

Could you ladies please help me by telling me maybe what u have packed or what should be packed? Any response would be lovely.. Thank You Ladies

Hey! I went to the dr. this morning and I am 1 cm dialated and 25 % efaced! YAY!! I am so excited. My dr. says if we have lots of sex and don't get up for 2 hours afterward and go for lots of walks I could have this baby before the new year!! YAY!! When she checked me there was sooooo much pressure, I felt like it was going to come out then! So I am excited about being almost ready for it!

Sorry i haven't been on too much lately....
Along with having my little Princess to take care of, i am also babysitting now. Oh wow! it's like having twins!!! lol Mine is 5 and a half months and the other is 9 months. And oh boy, she's a different baby!!! She is naughty already! She bites, she throws things, she pulls hair, and she "yells" and "screams" at everything. Even when I just change her diaper, she cries like i'm hurting her. I'm afraid my neighbor might start thinking i'm beating her or something because of the way she screams all the time. It's hard, but I have to remember I'm doing it for Madisyn. I can't bring myself to work just so I can pay for daycare. The logic doesn't make sense to me. But it works for some people...
So the newest things going on with Madisyn are, she's creeping like a worm (kinda crawling), she's MASTERED rolling around the house, she's definately found her voice!, she LOVES food (hates baby food tho)....i feed her off my plate as long as it's not spicy or dairy. We really love her a lot. It's amazing how much you feel you missed them before you even knew them. I can't imagine my life without her. And hardly remember it without her as well. We want more, but not for a while. we are perfectly content with just her for now.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. What kind of laundry detergent do you use for your new babies???

I've already asked a few of my friends that are mom's, All of whom said Dreft.. I would like to get all the answers I can.. I want to start washing as soon as possible. Thanks Ladies

Well 4 1/2-5 1/2 hours isn't so bad. Hopefully he'll start to sleep on his own soon : ) It's so nice to have them all cuddled up asleep on you though. It's a hard thing to give up.

Wow! That's a long drive and a lot of time. I'm sorry to hear about your husband's Grandfather though. We're planning on driving to Chicago for Christmas and then we have to drive to FL when we move in January. I am not really looking forward to either trip, but I hope Ina will sleep most of the way.
