hay1230 - Friday, 21 November Your little girl is absolutely adorable!
lynna - Wednesday, 19 November Thanks! and I wanted to tell you good job and congrats to the breast feeding. I know you were haveing some problems for a bit a while back and I am very proud to be a fellow BF.... Good job mommy!
ozbaby - Wednesday, 19 November I have been thinking about the Tony Frerguaon shakes which sound a lot like the ones your drinking but i have had supply issues so i dont want to risk losing my milk or something... So weight watchers can be done while feeding so i figure its the healthiest alternative to a "diet". I know it teaches healthy eating so your more likely to keep the weight off. Ive done it before so i already had the books etc. You can eat quite a lot too if you plan it and have the healthy food at home. I should have started AFTER i went shopping as i have no fruit and not many veges.
ozbaby - Wednesday, 19 November Man i still have about 8kgs to lose. I wish i was back to pre pregnant weight. I started Weight Watchers yesterday and have been walking my daughter to school so hopefully it will fall off!
ozbaby - Tuesday, 18 November I know i am happy to see the back of winter too! Hate the really hot ones but now i wish i exercised more through the last few months as i havent lost all my pregnancy weight for summer... Bummer. Oh well. Must be hotter over in WA.

labour-of-love - Wednesday, 23 July hi!! All labours hurt but geez i tell ya i was not prepared for that one heheheh! I could cry for weeks after i had lilly just thinking about it. Another thing is that my midwife as much as i thought she was great... That morning she told me of a woman in room 1 who was being induced and she was 7cm at the time of my induction being started.. She made a bet that we would beat hurt (she said cause i had had 4 other children) but i have my suspicions i just dont think it was right and i think she may have pushed my body to fast.. because previous to this delivery i was as i call it in good working order. Now i have a second degree prolapsed uterus! And i know i was fine before cause i had been checked. I discovered it myself one night after about 4 weeks i still didnt feel right! I felt like i was hanging out. hehehe TMI but i was right just inside i could feel my cervix i was horrified! And to think back now i truly believe i was induced way to fast, my contractions just about stopped and wouldnt you know it! I did give birth before the other lady.. i went to 10 in 4 hours and she was already at 7 when i started. I just feel suss about the whole thing... Sorry to ramble. I read your birth story the other day too... Your bubba is so beautiful, i just cant believe how fast they grow!
workathomemom - Saturday, 19 July Just wanted to check and see how your sleep is coming along? I updated my blog again yesterday. My lil 10 week old goes to be at 8p sleeps till 330a eats 2.5 oz (should be done with that w/in 9 days or so!) and then sleeps till 8a. You should check out the book , it has changed mine and my husbands life dramatically. It is great to have her on a schedul, she eats 4x q day, plus that lil feeding we are almost rid of in the middle of the night. Good Luck to ya!
Mom2Dom - Wednesday, 16 July My son has to go to bed at ten or he wouldnt be able to sleep a full night. As he gets older, I am progressively moving his bedtime earlier, but for now, he wont sleep through the night if I put him to bed any earlier. Also, I give his his bath at 930 and put on the johnsons baby bedtime lotion which is supposedly clinically studied to help them sleep better, then give his his bottle and by the time he finishes that, he is out cold. he is coming onto the teething phase soon though so I am sure my good nights sleep will be coming to an end soon :)
sheen - Wednesday, 16 July Thank you. This picture is the cutest!
hawaiimommy - Wednesday, 16 July wow! i had no idea you could start swimming lessons this early! ooh, might have to find one for braeden too! lol
Mom2Dom - Tuesday, 15 July I breastfeed my son and he is 3.5 months. He is a snacker so he eats every two to three hours during the day. When he was two months we tried a formula bottle at night and he immediately went a five hour stretch. We kept doing that one formula bottle at night and now he goes to bed at 10 and weeks up between 5 and 6 to eat again. We only give him one bottle of formula though. Good luck :0
lynna - Tuesday, 15 July Hey you! Glad to see you back! I am still breast feeding Elijah and yes he still wakes and eats every three hours... arrgg its hard when your working. So I have started to shorten the feeding time. I used to nurse till he fell back a sleep but last week I moved him out of his bassinet and into his crib and now I have to go into his room to feed him.. so needless to say gettting up that much when I have to work isn't working out so well. So far so good. I just make sure he gets enough milk during the day to carry him over. I know now that it is just habit and not that he needs to eat. But I can't stand to watch him cry out for me when I am right there. So anyway sorry so long! Take care!
Myra - Tuesday, 15 July Hi I just read your post on sleep- my boy is 9 months old and still breast fed and he also waked up every few hours and ive tried everything to get him to sleep and the only thing that worked was to stop feeding at night! and to get into a strict schedule he goes to bed at 8pm and can only get a feed after 4 am he must sleep an 8 hour strecth and i did not pick him up when he cried i just gave him his dummy and a teddy and stood by him untill he was calm and i go out and left and we had a bad week of crying at night but now my boy sleeps from 8pm untill 4am without waking and goes to sleep untill 6 or 7am and his up i make sure i go to bed at 9 pm so that i can be refreshed in the early morning! its winter here try buying a warm water bottle and cover it with a light blanket and put it next to your baby it helped with my son so it feels if hes sleeping next to me! and also if she sleeps more than an hour at a time during the day wake her up after and hour! and make sure she gets at least 6-8 feedings during the day so you know she has had enough nutrition to go through the night! she does not need the extra milk during the night trust me its only a bad habbit!
