hey! mara was breach hmmmmmmmmmmm maybe at 32 weeks then at 34 she wasn't, she was only ever head up at 32 week US, i htink she will flip for ya.. i hope she does! and i hope Mara stays dwon too!! how amny US have you had no? 3? you get pretty many too!! i don't think we would've if they weren't watching the placenta and in the begininnig the cervix... ttys!

hi I just read your post about your baby being breech.... I would advise you to not have the external version done - there are too many risks and complications that can occur! I did so much research on it! My baby was born by c-section due to being breech. I had a feeling that he was and found out at 34 weeks, he never turned. I felt down about having to have a c-section due to not having him naturally, but realized that I went thru the whole pregnancy, etc. and in the end all that matters is that you have a healthy baby! My c-section was great!!! I hardly felt the spinal block needle! If you have any questions, feel free to message me :-)

Hi Chrissyp, I am scheduled for a c-section and my original due date is June 5 and they have me scheduled to go into the hospital on May 29th, one week before. Hope that helps.

Hey there, I have also been having the shooting "fanny' pains, seems pretty much everyone else in our antenatal class too, and the midwife reckons its pretty normal, so dont stress too much! But I know it can stop you dead in your tracks!!

There are chiropractors out there that special in a special technique that can help flip the baby and is way safer than pressing on your stomach and has a 80% success rate. I would look into this if you live in a big city.

Mara was breech last time , this time her hip was in my rib! ugh did that hurt when they did the US, she was like digging in me! little pooper!
ya i agree i heard the manual flipping hurts!
i hope she flips for ya! i'm sure she will, omg Mara has the hiccups AGAIN!! poor baby!! her poor little belly!!
next US for us is the growth scan on May 12th, then maybe have her or let her cook more, we;ll find out the verdict that day...

Hello~

So we went for another growth scan today, She weighs about 4lbs. 10oz.

Her heart rate was 121…

Everything is at or around 34 weeks growth except for her abdomen, that was around 32 weeks, so I will have to go back in 3 weeks at 37 weeks (full term) and see how her growth is then, if it’s not to where she should be then they will talk about delivering her. Not sure if that meant that day, that week or what but I guess if she needs to come out then that’s best for her…my placenta (which is why I take the aspirin) isn’t giving her enough nutrients…BUT I could go back in 3 weeks and everything will be fine and she will stay in till she’s ready!

So that’s the latest… I go to my Dr. on Wednesday so if they have any other info I will let you know!

Hey Chrissy. Sorry, I didn't write back to you sooner but things have been crazy and I have not been online all that much. So how are you feeling? I hope things are going well for you. I can't believe that you only have 48 more days to go. It feels like just yesterday when Chris told me you were pregnant. I can't wait.....I am so excited for you two:) Okay, about the swelling, yes, my feet did get swollen about a month and a half before Owen was born for a few days. I remember in Lamaze class taking off my shoes and my feet looked HORRIBLE. They were formed to my sandle. I didn't have any swelling in my hands though. I am sure you know this but keep your feet elevated. I elevated them really high when I was sleeping (yes, I was bad and slept on my back, lol) and the swelling went down by the next morning. As far as the breast pump, Chris' Aunt gave me hers to use and the lactation department at the hospital gave me all new parts, so the only thing I am using is the actual pump and it is not a medella. The parts are medella but not the pump itself. I have had no problems with this one, of course, I have nothing to compare it to, but honestly I think it works fine. The brand name is Purely Yours, however, I think she got it years ago, so I don't know if they even make it any more. I am sure whatever one you get will be fine, but I would recommend an electric one. I just don't have the patience to sit there and use a manual one. Well, I think I have babbled on long enough. hey..Dr. appt fine, blood pressure for me was 122/66?
guess fine right? it was a hi bye visit basically like all the others when i go there. they are so in and out.. gained 3 pounds ...
go on wedesnday for growth scan..
ummm we aren't taking lamaze, i would've but Brian didn't want to and everyone i asked it was 50/50, they said the knowledge is good the breathing you forget.. so when the Dr. asked the last 2 visits i said no and he said that's fine the nurses tell ya what to do so i said ooooook then...breastfeeding i am unsure if i am gna do it yet, don't know why i just don't know if i want to.. i think i might take a class anyway just incase...my hospital requires you take a "class" before you leave teh hospital, i think its similar to a Parenting class....
so we'll see... ....

hey!! i saw you had your appt this week already, mine is tomorrow... i had swelling last week but think maybe i was on feet too much...did you have it in feet or all over, like did she point it out or did you say something? my Aunt told me to mention it just incase BUT i don't like this off ice i go to they are you know what's! but this one is sooooooo much closer then the other one... i guess i should to be safe..
lost 2lbs! well don't worry i gained it for ya!

hmmmmmmm don't know..i didn't have that feeling yet.. i was feeling weirdness down low but when i went for the growth scan and they said she was breech i figured thats why i was feeling different when she moved..she was CALM very CALM for 2 whole days i was worried sick but today she's all over and yesterday she was ok too...did you fo on the forum part of the site maybe they have posts about how BH feel?

hey! ya i gained i think 2-3 pounds when i went too the other day! i am wayy showing now!! everyone has said something...3 people had no clue i was even pregnant before, guess they thougth i just gained weight! well now she's showing! hahah! i was a little worried i didn't feel her as much yesterday or today but i do feel her just not as much, maybe because she needs more room... i feel like i'm stretched i'll tell ya!
i have to try to post pics but since i just got this up and going agiain i don't wanna chance it! we are using our old tower and hope to get the email going on this one as soon as we figure it out, if ya don't see me on here it's because it went down again! well take care!! ttys!!!! can you believe we are 30 weeks????????????????

Hey, Thanks for adding me to your friends network. I wanted to check in and see how you are feeling. I have been tired, but other than that doing great.

Yesterday at one of the local parks they had a huge Easter egg hunt for all of the local kids. I kept thinking that I cannot wait until next year when I can dress up my daughter and take her to the egg hunt. I want to get her a really pretty dress and bonnet to go together.

March 19, 2008~ 29 weeks...went for growth scan today, Mara is breech at this point, first ever, i knew it! i could feel her digging in my ribs and kicking low! She weighs 2lbs. 14oz. back on track, she was a little ahead last time they checked her weight.... she looked so cute! the profile was really good on the US... her heart rate was 147... go back in 5 weeks for another growth scan, at 35 weeks i can stop taking the aspirin... next wednesday is 'regular checkup'... howa re you doing? still no word on my sugar test? guess maybe thats a good thing? its been a week...

feel good except for this cold now! i thought i had the darn flu yesterday! i was hurting bad! aches, head, thin slight fever, s=chills , hot flashes, Mara wasn't moving so much, i called Dr. he was like oh wait it out till tomorrow..i went to work, i couldn't lay in bed another min! i didn't sleep at all lastnight because i slept all wekeend! well Sunday all day just about! but now its just stuffy nose and head, thankgod!!!
