iloveyouconrad - Thursday, 11 December Oh No! Lol, it must have been the "What would you do if I posted this 10 times" poll? What jerkos. That wasn't even a mean poll. I've seen worse polls where people are like "Don't you hate it when you go to the month page and they are all talking about breastfeeding and it belongs in the BF section?" I thought your poll was funny.
californiamade4 - Wednesday, 10 December Hi I am having my baby at the new Kaiser Roseville labor and delivery unit. That's if he waits until the 13th Jan (Otherwise it will be Kaiser Morse) but my babies are always late so he should do. Yeah the zoo is great. We love going there. I also like to go to the baby shop Goores in Sac these days. May I ask what camera you used for the baby under the christmas tree pic?
iloveyouconrad - Wednesday, 10 December Ho do you use apple cider vinegar in your baths or distilled white?
iloveyouconrad - Wednesday, 10 December Eh. I just read it. I'm not interested in participating in that board. I don't think I would be welcome. They are all talking about 1 being too early to start and how terrible it is. I dont have anything in common with them. Maybe if there is a board for EC it will attract more ECers to this website. Hey, thanks for the vinegar tip. I started using vinegar on my cloths with a little baking soda, they smell really good... i love it. I guess Conrad and I will take a vinegar bath tonight. What would I do without you? How the heck does Derek take showers with Kara?!!! I've tried that before, and Conrad hated it, so did i! Water kept getting in his eyes and all I was doing was standing there! We have a stall type shower though, it's only like 3ft by 3 ft, is that why? Do you guys have a tub shower? I joined the east bay diaper free group 3 days ago, and i am still waiting for approval!
iloveyouconrad - Wednesday, 10 December Hey. I asked Dirk if he would add a message board for EC. Maybe we will find more EC people. Conrad is almost 80% ECing now. He still wears a diaper while we are out and at night, but that's it. They say it is suppose to be hard after 6mo, but I don't think it was too hard. I think it would be really awesome to have an EC section on here.
Do you ever give Kara a bath? If you do, do you just use water?
mcbender3 - Tuesday, 9 December Hello there ladies.. I have posted a new blog.. It's about making your own baby food and would love some input. Thanks.
As far as my weight loss goes, I will post about it thursday since that day marks one month! =]
iloveyouconrad - Monday, 8 December Oh, and watermelon, i dont hold that up to his mouth, i just pop a chunk in and he mashes it up real good before swallowing....or spitting it out!
How about Kara? Is she showing any signs of interest in food?
iloveyouconrad - Monday, 8 December He is doing okay. he really wants food, and when we eat he streches and reaches and fusses for our plates, but he can't pick things up very well to feed himself, so we ignore it for the most part b/c i am worried his body isn't ready for more then one meal a day. i buy bluberrys and then i crush each one so it is all one piece but the yummy juices are oozing and i put them on his tray so he can sqeeze them and chase them with his fingers and i pop them into his mouth for him. he chews them up and swallows them. he also eats hunks of cutie oranges- theese i hold up to his mouth and he gnaws on them until they are eaten. Ohh! but last night he brougt a cute up to his mouth and started licking what was left (LOL! he smashed the crap out of it with his hand so that all that was left was a little pulp!) He has picked up quarters of tomato but he cant get it to his mouth (but he loves to chew on them when i put them in his mouth!) He cant pick up roasted baby beets, but he also loves to gnaw on those. It's pretty neat how strong his gums are! he also like mango slices.
Ok, the things in jars.... here is the link: http://www.traipse.com/thing_in_a_jar/
it is very stange, but it is deffinately our sense of humor. I made my sister a cock an balls in a jar. And my dad is getting a two headed fish embryo looking one (he is a big fisherman) and i made blakes brother one that looks like the one on that page, and i just need to make one more for blakes other brother... i dont know what i am going to make that one look like!
mommiesbabe - Sunday, 7 December how much? I live in canada I can't find em anywere
Kevinsmilfx2 - Sunday, 7 December Btw, your daughter is freaking gorgeous!! Just beautiful!!!
Kevinsmilfx2 - Sunday, 7 December Nope. We have no idea why I had such horrible yeast overgrowth. I had a vag yeast infection, oral thrush, and a yeast infection in both breasts. Of course my daughter had thrush, but doc (he's VERY old, 71, and a naturopath like me) said he didn't want to give my daughter meds for thrush because she was so young...?? Said he's wary of introducing any medications to a baby because it takes away their ability to fight off their own infections. I mean, I get it, but even my La Leche League leader was like "WTH?!"
cadesmommy - Saturday, 6 December I know you dont know me so this might sound weird : but I was just looking at your pictures and I love that you have pictures of yourself breastfeeding your daughter. Amazing and perfect :)
iloveyouconrad - Saturday, 6 December Haha, i totally forget blakes reaction. Blake usually has negative reactions to anything wacky I do, so I think I just naturally block them out now! I went by the laboratory today where my mom and blake work together while i was out running errands and i told them then. i remember my mom got kind of excited and told me i should pee him on the potty more often! i think blake was like "oh yeah, really....cool." i saw my gma and gpa today b/c my gma really wanted to give me these babies 1st xmas ornaments that looked like they probably had tons of lead paint all over them and were made in china (good thing they werent toys) and I told them. They both snickered and my gma said that he was too young for the potty and that he should just stay in his diapers a bit longer. and my gpa said that peeing him sounds like too much work. my gma was totally supportive of the cloth diapering though, she was the first person i told about my "sinister" cloth diapering scheme because I knew everyone else would think I was going nutso. Blake is proud of conrads cloth now though that he sees they dont leak and arent as horrible as HIS grandma was telling him they were. but blake never changes conrad, and I am okay with that. blake will be proud of conrad when he is peeing on the potty before he is a year old. eh. time to go pick blakey up from work and conrad JUST fell asleep. I almost want to call him back and tell him to wait an hour. Oh well.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.
inb25 - Thursday, 4 December Hi there! thank you for checking up on me- nursing is going very good, my son Jonathan is now 3 months old and he nurses every 3-4 hours so it's not so intense anymore, but now I have to find more ways to entertain him cause he doesn't seem to care so much for the swing, play mat or bouncer lol.. your daughter looks so cute on the profile picture by the way! oh well, I wana type more but he's screaming so I have to run for now!!
lilmissk - Wednesday, 3 December I just saw that you updated your page! I love the new pictures.
mcbender3 - Wednesday, 3 December I am copying one of your quotes that you have about breastfeeding and putting it on my page.. Just wanted to let you know. I think it's very encouraging!! =]
mcbender3 - Wednesday, 3 December How long will it take for my son/daughter get the concept?
mcbender3 - Wednesday, 3 December No, I use disposible but can buy gerber disposables one at walmart. So how does your daughter do with this? Does it actually work? My son pees on the potty every morning but after that he pees in his diaper, he has gone a whole day w/o using a diaper & did great. I dont know if i did something wrong or what.
mcbender3 - Tuesday, 2 December hey I have come across your page and it's so pretty!! I love all your pics.. Are you a photographer?
I love the pic of you and your baby breastfeeding.. Not in a perverted way tho. lol I breastfeed my daughter and when I go out in public and breastfeed, I get stared at and some ppl make rude comments such as why don't you go to your car or to the bathroom! Ugh what's wrong with today's society?? How would other ppl like to be forced to eat in the bathroom.. I know I wouldn't want to!
