That does seem like an awesome way for the dad to bond with the baby so he doesn't feel left out.

lilmissk - Tuesday, 7 October
No, I didn't see your blog, but I will definitely check it out now!! I would have never thought it was possible.

Hi. I just saw your post about the diapers in the polls section so I can to see your page. I've never heard of Elimination Communications, but it sounds really nice. Thanks for sharing that information on your page. I am going to go research that now.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Yeah i just heard that an epidural made everything work better for my mother. i know that vaccines are more harmfull then they are helpful so i dont want them. I live about an hour and a half north of sacramento. Do you have a tons of rain? lol

You probably made them mad! I don't think people like it when they find out information like that and they are already doing it. Plus a lot of people just blow stuff like that off with the old "my mom did it and I turned out fine". Everyone tries to justify things they are doing and a lot of times become defensive or angry in the process so they just say nothing instead. But still as stubborn as some of the moms seem when it comes to standing there ground with what they are doing I am amazed to.

Love the link you posted in the polls! amazing what is in formula! And other foods for that matter! I'm grateful everyday that I was raised in a home that a lot of people considered "health nuts" It's funny because with my 3rd baby I started to bleed really bad 6 weeks postpartum and had to go to the hospital. My mom was so concerned about my son getting formula she called me from another state asking me if I wanted her to find a wet nurse until I was done at the hospital. I told her no it was ok but the thought of him having a bottle just devastated her. (Her midwife that delivered her first 2 babies, my brother and I, was a man whose wife co founded le leche league)

hello you left me a comment on my poll about vaccines. i really appreciate your responce because i feel the same way. it makes me very angry when mothers think that the vaccines are what is health. so anyway thank you again and your children are beautiful.

I honestly cant decide on tandem nursing. I never thought I would get pregnant this soon-my son was a fertility drug baby. I love nursing and honestly I am way too lazy to fix bottles. My son does now eat cheese because of his age. Basically, with him I offer him foods during "meal" times and then I offer him a snack once a day also. I never force him to eat. He self feeds so he eats as much or little as he wants. I feed on demand and he is at the age where he tells me if he wants to nurse. I was just wondering what other breastfeeding moms thought about cow milk. His pediatrician is a huge supporter of breastfeeding so she gave me some information on the benefits of breastfeeding until two. Gosh, I was long winded. Sorry about that.

cadesmommy - Friday, 3 October
Lukes-how long do you plan on breastfeeding your little one is you dont mind me asking? What is your opinions on giving older babies (like over a year ) whole cow milk? I saw your poll on formula and it was quite interesting. I am still breastfeeding my almost one year old and I am trying to gather some information on what to do next-like keep nursing him or whole milk. I am also currently preggers with #2. Thank you for any information or opinions you have.

1. Your family is beautiful.
2. Kara's birth story made me tear up...I'm hoping that my experience is that rewarding. I'm planning on asking my midwife next week about water births. Congrats on the new addition to your family!
3. In one of your pictures, you are holding Kara in a blue, cloth sash-like carrier. It looks really confortable - is it? Where did you get it?
