coltonsmom - Wednesday, 17 September I'll definitely try the dip thing, never thought of that. I would never force feed my child (children). I agree with that too. But I do want to make sure he's not going hungry. Thanks so much for the advice. - Cindy
coltonsmom - Wednesday, 17 September It's just so frustrating though because even though he doesn't want me to spoon feed him, I'm lucky if he takes 2 or 3 bites of food of the options I give him. He shakes his head "no" when I offer him things, yet when I give him things to eat on his own he just doesn't seem interested in eating. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't care but he's underweight (per his Dr. - in the 5th percentile for his age) and his poops have been rock hard because it seems the only thing he likes to eat on his own is cheese (which binds adults, imagine what it does to a 13 month old). *sigh* I just want to figure out what he'll enjoy eating, without feeling like I'm not giving him the foods he truly needs. Thanks for listening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
jensay - Tuesday, 16 September He's doing great hes such a great big brother...BTW i was preggo during the wedding too :)
CassandraLee - Tuesday, 16 September I had to drop you a little message. I dont know what you meant when you said you have radical parenting (you said in in a poll about letting babies cry it out), but Im with you. I wouldnt let my 10mo old or 10 year old cry themselves to sleep either!! "I" wouldnt call you radical, I would call you a mother

mommy2be707 - Tuesday, 19 August cool thank you :] yeah my hubby wants to use health diapers [its better for the environment] but we have no idea how well they work or how they work at all lol
peanutontheway - Thursday, 14 August It's great so far. I am glad I didn't start using them earlier though. Cause now she only poops at the most once a day. When she was just born until about 4 weeks she went every time she had a diaper change. I can't imagine the mess! I am having a little trouble finding stores that carry 0-3 or even 3-6 vinyl pants, most stores only have 12 months and up.
Just♥Mommy - Wednesday, 13 August Yeah I hope he stays in there for a while too. I was hoping he'd come the last week of October. Which is only a week early -- but I don't want him coming any earlier than that.
peanutontheway - Friday, 8 August I just went out and bought some cloth diapers today, wish me luck! I am still trying to figure out exactly how to fold them... How many diapers and pins do you recommend having?
christy114 - Tuesday, 15 July Hey momma! Any news yet?
csmith08 - Thursday, 10 July hey, they want him to go head down because he is laying on a legament that I pulled and they want it to heal before i give birth.. not only that on my husbands side of the family and my side only the boys get the cord wrapped around their necks and so they are trying to provent that also.. they just used their hands and moved him around, then did an U/S and he was head down, then 5 mins. later the bugger moved!!
HaileyMarie - Monday, 23 June Hi for my 5 year old son the doctor kind of did a mini physical on my son. They checked his hearing, vision, he checked to see if my son was anemic/had thyroid problems. Also the doctor wanted to look over family history to see if ADHD runs in the family, which it doesn't. Thats pretty much the medical side of it. But then the doctor requested that my husband and I review with my sons teacher how he acted in class on a daily basis. Also the doctor basically had my son do some tests. Like reading a book for a certain time period, drawing a picture of his family (just things to test his mind span). But now our family doctor has referred us to a neurologist to do more tests. I personally think they are going to over board with all of these tests. I mean he is only 5 years old!!
stargurl5747 - Tuesday, 17 June no idea.. but it lookd like a giant brown balloon..and the dr said it is rare
