lmommytobe - Wednesday, 10 December Been in and out of meetings lately, but I always try and squeeze some time in every day to check up on what is happening on the site. December is really the only time I can go on holiday with hubby, as he is self employed, so if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid and his industry closes over Christmas and New Year so he is kinda forced to take holiday then. I think men in general think differently than what we do. For them it is mostly about money and seeing to us and our kiddies in a financial way, however I agree, quality time is simply the best way. Perhaps he'll get to his senses or maybe you'll find a nice job up here in JHB?
ziah - Wednesday, 10 December I couldn’t agree with you more. It is most definitely that. Are you wearing comfy shoes?
You are very lucky to have such a "entertainer". At first mine was very quiet and when baby started to kick then it was on his/her terms... And you are only allowed to watch... Sometimes I can sneak a hand in and get away with a kick but that hardly ever happens *sigh* Maybe one day dad can feel it but at least he can see it.
Have you got any stretch marks yet? I have 2 right under my belly and about an inch long. I am so sad about that. At least I got them from being pregnant and not because I was fat or something like that.....right....
lmommytobe - Wednesday, 10 December Hey, we doing great! Just can't wait for this year to come to an end! I'm dying to go on holiday!!!! How are you and babe doing? I read something about your hubby coming to work in JHB? When will he be leaving? Will you be joining him soon afterwards? Shame man that is tough. My hubby works abroad often for weeks on end - it is always nicer to have them close by!
ziah - Wednesday, 10 December LOL… I am like an energizer bunny… Never say die Ha ha ha. I am going all natural too without any pain medication. I am brave now, but I am sure I will regret being this brave later.
Oh, I cant wait to let my mom see the baby and then know what I mean when I say I saw the baby kicking and felt it too while being at the dr.
My baby is very VERY very shy. I can lie on the couch all afternoon and watch this little critter do the jolly jumpers and kick my belly like there is no tomorrow and as soon as I or hubby put our hands there, then baby just stops. I had my hand on that spot for about 45 minutes and nothing… not even a small flutter then the second I took my hand off, baby started to kick away again… Soo frustrating I have to say. Maybe you should try and rub the sides of your belly to maybe let baby know that them kicks on the bladder is starting to hurt. It happened to me too but the rubbing didn’t help to be quite honest.

After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. ziah - Friday, 5 December LOL... that’s hard luck on your side. The leak... well now that is a weird situation for me at this stage... I feel like I should be wearing a nappy coz every time I sneeze or laugh to hard then oops I have to go change cloths again.
The funny thing is... All women who have been or are pregnant wish for their partners to experience being pregnant at least once in their lives for them to experience what us woman are experiencing while being pregnant. I know I do and I am sure you do too.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.
ziah - Friday, 5 December Isn’t it just the coolest thing. WOW. I am so chuft with myself for seeing it. I feel much much much closer to the little one. LOL, You say baby got hold of a nerve and is pulling on it.. Very funny i must say! Sometimes it feels like baby is doing the jumps on my bladder and when I go to the loo there is nothing there. Hubby is to impatient at this time to feel it. I will wait till he can really see it. Its so nice
ziah - Friday, 5 December Shame you poor girl. Good for you to have stood up like that. I am sure I would have handled it exactly the same. Maybe tonight there will be a surprise dinner waiting at home for you. How are you and baby doing? I have to say this... I saw baby move on the outside last night. That was so AMAZING. I am so happy that happened. Now the only thing I need to do is to let hubby feel it too.
ziah - Friday, 5 December If you are concerned about the swelling, then please dont wait. phone your dr and inform him. It might be high blood pressure and that is not a good thing at all.
I will post a blog and let you know what it is as soon as I have done the test.
I have a question that’s been on my mind for quite some time now. About 3 weeks ago when i went for my last appointment the reception lady said to me that the next appointment which is on the 17th will be a stress test. What on earth is a stress test? Is it going to hurt my baby or me...? Why do they do a stress test???
ziah - Thursday, 4 December I am good thank you. Funny thing, we were playing the wii sports last night and now and then my back would hurt and I would sit down and when I sat down baby would kick like craze. I would then put my hand on my tummy an kind of "poke" where baby last kicked and then baby would kick on the same spot back again. That was so cute. I called hubby to feel it to but every time he put his hands there the baby didn’t want to do anything was kind of playing hide and seek with daddy LOL.
I am now really hungry and that pizza sounds like the best idea ever.
Yeah unfortunately I have them swollen feet too and hands asswell. My hands swell up in such a way that my rings hurt me and I battle to take them off it also hurts like hell when I close my hands in a fist. So, I have the whole package I suppose!!!
ziah - Thursday, 4 December OH yummy. I dont have any lunch today so I just grabbed a pack of chips from the cupbord. Now I regret not stopping at the shop for a sandwich or something coz I am starving!
How are you feeling today?
ziah - Wednesday, 3 December Ha ha ha. I like the way you express yourself. I can really live myself into it. My eyes also goes very big when that happens.
I am glad to see you have your apatite back. I hope you don’t get sick again!
ziah - Wednesday, 3 December ha ha ha. I would have left him drooling next to me while I eat he he he.
Yeah... them kicks are getting stronger every day. It sometimes feels like a very low voltage shock that goes through my body when baby kicks. Its nice and comfy but sometimes it gives me a fright. and sometimes them kicks are painful. Does it happen to you too at times?
ziah - Tuesday, 2 December I hope you get what you asked for. The funny thing with us is. We have a full time maid and all hubby needs to do is either tell the maid what he wants to make or just make it himself but he would rather play wii or play station the whole day and still expect me to come home after a hard day's work and do the cooking. I mean that is not asking for too much is it? and then when i get upset he gets upset too and we end up fighting over a simple thing like that. Then I would just make something to eat for myself and leave him out of the equation.
