I was lucky in that my insurance covers fertility treatments, but it was still expensive. I honestly don't know how people do it without help from insurance.

I just noticed your BC post, and just wanted to add my experience so far with an IUD. I have the copper IUD (Paraguard). I had it inserted a little over 2 weeks ago, and have had heavy bleeding and minimal cramps since. It's been quite annoying, and I am wonder when it will go away. I was told I could bleed up to 6 months.

Hi- I had an IUD for 4 1/2 years and yes it was perfect for the not remembering to take the pill but the havoc it wreaked on my body was awful. I would just suggest to do a ton of research before deciding on getting it because everyone is different but there are side effects that you doc won't mention or will swear up and down it doesnt cause yet as soon as mine was removed they all went away! Good Luck!
