marietta - Monday, 3 November I have never heard of this! Sounds like a good way to start a novel though. hugs
onelove - Monday, 3 November Not sure on that one! Did you eat alot of salt yesterday! I can tell in my face when I've eaten too much salt cause it will swell.
onelove - Monday, 3 November I posted a pic of Gage in his Halloween costume on my page! Check it out! Hope you and your families had a safe and happy Halloween. Let me know when you post pics!!! ~Laura
Blessing8168 - Monday, 3 November Hey! Just checking in on you. How are you feeling? Have you called the doctor yet?
dapie898 - Saturday, 1 November I do remember that feeling! Being pregnant is wonderful though despite feeling crappy sometimes. But i hope this part passes quickly for you and you start feeling better soon!
jenelle - Friday, 31 October MySpace Codes at BlingPixie.com
marietta - Friday, 31 October I guess disbelief is pretty common. But I have to think that by the time the baby is here non of that will matter anymore. Last night when I was getting ready for bed, I seemed to finally realize that we're having a baby, too. I thought, WTF have I done?? I mean I went into this pretty carefully. No mystery. Knowing fully what it was I was getting into. What was I thinking?? Well, those were a weary woman's thoughts around midnight after a hard day. It's all going to be much more than ok. peace.
tpage - Friday, 31 October Tell your husband that you need to sleep, so that you can grow a healthy baby. I slept all the time!
dapie898 - Thursday, 30 October aw debora! i'm so happy for you!! i'm glad you are doing well but i know how tired you must be. Rest when you can...you have a good reason! We are doing well. Colin is a good baby. And my other son Andrew is adapting well...well...as good as a 2 year old can. H'es really good with the baby. I know it's tough sometimes but enjoy every second of the pregnancy because once it's over you can't put baby back. I'm so happy he's here but i still miss the little kicks every once in a while! anyway...have a great day!!
Overjoyed - Thursday, 30 October Good luck with everything.... make sure to relax.
sparklyval - Wednesday, 29 October Hi Debora The symptoms you describe sound very familiar - those first couple of months of pregnancy are tough going at times and I felt dreadful for a good few weeks. Don't worry though, before you know it you will be through the worst of it. Also, getting strong symptoms like you have been - the nausea and tiredness - is a good sign that things are well with the pregnancy. Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest! Love, Val x
marietta - Wednesday, 29 October if you start to get nauseous, chop up some candied ginger, or grate some fresh ginger root and add it to your oatmeal applesauce muffins. It's taste good and it will give you some relief.
suzy42 - Wednesday, 29 October I went for my first appointment at the Clinic yesterday. My bloodwork is looking good. The levels are doubling from week to week like they're supposed to. We also got an early U/S and saw a HEART BEAT! The Dr. said things are looking like they should for 6 weeks. One test down and probably 20 more to go. LOL It's nice to hear some good news for a change to start things off with. Hope you are well. We'll chat soon. :)
The sleepiness is the worst part about the 1st tri-mester. I remember I would lay down in my office on my lunch break and have to actually set the alarm on my phone to wake me up! It does get better!
I'm still praying for you and so happy for you! When's your 1st Dr. Appointment?
Take care! ~Laura
marietta - Wednesday, 29 October I hear you! cream of wheat too, by the way, altho' I'll bet you don't like that either! Yes, Tums are perfectly fine for you, for calcium or heartburn.
marietta - Wednesday, 29 October You know they melt your heart no matter what time of year.
How do you feel about oatmeal? I cook it in the microwave with milk instead of water. DD refuses to drink milk, even chocolate milk, so I'm constantly on the hunt for calcium rich foods. Some brands of sandwich bread now supplement with up to 10%USRDA Calcium. And there are always Tums. Keep it up with those wonderful spicy foods, and you may grow friendly with Tums anyway!
marietta - Wednesday, 29 October Sleepy, but this time with someone special to share it with :) Good to hear things are right on target. When I was carrying DD, I had this crazy morning sickness, and everytime I made chicken, no matter how I made it, it tasted and *felt* just awful in my mouth. I threw away so much perfectly good chicken that year! DH used to get frustrated with me for that.
Now at 34 weeks, I am a regular evening complainer! DH never seems to complain though. Not to me, anyway ;)
krisaustin2 - Tuesday, 28 October I have posted a lot of new pictures of Sofia, including some of her 6 month old pictures that she had taken on Thursday, October 23 at Portrait Innovations. Check them out! Keep in touch! Write me :)
suzy42 - Monday, 27 October Diclectin is a prescription that I've been given for my last few pregnancies. It's highly used in Canada but I'm sure it's also approved & available in the States. I recommend it and it works really quickly. It's basically a dose of a B6 vitamin to help with your nausea levels. It's very safe and I wouldn't be without it. It may be under a different name for the U.S. but it will work just the same. Ask your Dr. it's worth it!
