colby - Friday, 30 May Ok thanks I will look into Dr. Browns and decide between the Dr. brown & Born free as I am sure that I don't want to use the liners or avent fillers. I appreciate your response & will be in touch.
TrishW - Friday, 23 May i'll be praying for your friend!!! and her doctor is mean :( he shouldn't say anything like that. hope your weekend is a great one :)

Snugglebug - Wednesday, 14 May Thanks so much, I really appreciate it! She STILL hasn't gotten her rose bush, btw. I'll be calling those morons again today. :P Have a great day! :)
Snugglebug - Tuesday, 13 May Thanks! I'll check that out! :) Will they ship actual rose bushes, or just bouquets? I'm thinking about turning them in to the Better Business Bureau, like one of the other ladies suggested. I've read a lot of complaints about them (wish I had read them before) and I can't believe they're still getting away with doing business like this. Thanks for your help! :)
mellowyellow - Tuesday, 13 May Hey thanks for your reply... however I do believe that the correct terminology is "girly bits" LOL I cant believe Im on the net discussing my vagina...
junecleaver - Thursday, 8 May Thanks for all the helpful advice. I will be checking in to a lot of hypnobirth books and courses. I am trying to figure out if attending a hypno birth class at the hospital will be a benefit over the reading material. I know my husband won't read it because he hates reading. Me on the otherhand can down a book really quick. My hospitial also offers doulas for no cost for birth, I will check to see if they support hypno birth/natural labor. Thats pretty cool that the rainbow technique works that well (lol). Thanks again, I will keep you posted :)
tamaramcmanus - Thursday, 8 May thank you so much ,for responding I feel like there is no room for the baby so i am sure there is none soon we will hold are little one how precious is that well god bless and hope all is well tamara
Sowright - Thursday, 8 May My dreams have been crazy. Bad dreams for nights in a row, then action type dreams like oscar award winning movies, thn faceless baby dreams. Not scary faceless, but his presence, I never remember what he looks like, his back is towards me or sleeping with his hand on his face.
babybarbados - Wednesday, 7 May Thanks Goonie! I am definitely saving the cord blood. I haven't decided if I am donating or storing privately yet. There is a lot of conflicting information out there. At this point I am leaning towards donating. Our local 'community blood services' group does it for us. I have already been doing my own research.
Shilah~Edens Mommy~ - Wednesday, 7 May I would like to bank my babys blood if you have any info on that :)
mommy2dallas - Tuesday, 6 May Thanks so much for the comment. That is a good idea about the scale with the doctor. I am prepared to go in with ammo next appointment. I have been writing down everything I eat and how much I exercise and plan to shove it in his face if he says anything this time. Take care!!
babybarbados - Monday, 5 May hey goonie I read a few people's plans and then decided to write mine. I made my outline up as I thought of things based on what I read before. Feel free to use it if you want.

leenakaye28 - Tuesday, 29 April Thanks so much for the comment it actually brought tears to my eyes. Its so nice to have women like me to talk to about life. I am a good person and never thought i would be at this point in my life. But it can only get better from here....Thank-you
mumofsix - Thursday, 24 April Hi Ya, I'll write a blog soon on how I manage labor. I may even get onto it now. Keep checking my page. Hope all is going well.
Sowright - Thursday, 24 April I bought it a few months back. I couldn't put it down. I read it front to back. Now i listen to the CD and practice, practice, practice. I find that I can really get into better when I am alone tho. It's hard to shut out the outside world and quiet myself. It is getting easier and i am doing the breathing just to settle down for bed or if I am in pain. Yeah it is starting to work!
Sowright - Thursday, 24 April I am into the videos too. Check out youtube also. Search in stuff like "Natural birth, Vbac, water birth" etc. Some you have to sign up for just to confirm your age and you are not a underaged perv, Those vid's are the best tho. No holds bar, the real deal. I find it very helpful to know that not every women has a screaming, tearing, painful birth. I am convinced my birth will be peaceful, relaxing and an enlightening time. Yes i think it will be a little painful but bareable. We were built to give birth! Very exciting stuff. Glad to turn you on to it. Good luck in your birth endevor!! Sara
SmithChick - Wednesday, 23 April Stick this in Google - preeclampsia semen - and be prepared to be amused. The University of Adelaide in South Australia is who completed one study. Yes, now you know I am a research geek :)
My birth center will not allow anything to be plugged into the wall outlets. If I wanted lights they would have to be battery operated. What a cool idea.
SmithChick - Wednesday, 23 April How can you never use the word ‘stoked’ :) It is a staple in my vocab as well as ‘Duude’. I am very happy about your DH being stoked and, most importantly I think, supportive of your choices for a doula and natural birth. What a great man!
I checked out your doula’s site and it reads well. I like the fact that she has experience in c-sections, vbacs and hypnobirth. I am still looking for ours, but believe we are close to picking out one. I was recommended this doula from a neighbor and it so happens she is a RN and will birth with me at home until it is time to push & deliver. She will check dilation. My neighbor stayed at home until 8cm, went to hospital, pushed for 30 minutes and done. That is what I am talkin’ bout! Hospitals, even birth centers inside hospitals, creep me out and I do not want to be in there long.
Love your affirmation. I have been daily saying mine and have started to make a point to daily visualize my birth. A funny - when I am visualizing my birth say at 3AM after I go pee and have not fallen back to sleep I always think of singing Happy Birthday to my baby during transition. Momma, take care! Sarah
