Wow, it was really nice meeting you at the doctors office yesterday! How funny. Hope the appt went well for little Auggie! I don't think I'll be making it for that group today, just too tired. But definitely want to go next week. Hopefully we can catch up then!

LOL Okay thank you much! I know that's what I was scared of.. my contractions going well and once I get to the hospital, BOOM they slow down.. is it the mental aspect? Maybe you get more stressed.. then you start to not be with them as much? Ugh, that's neat to hear though what your doc said about the water breaking, My doctor keeps sayin' "well once your water breaks you should come in" and that bummed me out because I keep hoping that my contractions are there for a while and I get to dilating well before that happens so I can 'stay at home and in the tub' as long as possible, although I think once your water breaks you can't be emerged in the water anymore? Or at least if you are, the tub needs to be sanitized or something to reduce risk of infection?

Hi Goonie. Congratulations on your little one. It was a long wait for you but you hung in there! I can't believe we were due on the same day and our babies are so far apart! Haley is 5 weeks on wednesday so I can definitely tell you that the recovery does get better. You guys both look great. Congrats again.

Well done, I am so pleased it's all over for you and that you got your natural birth. You were so patient. Enjoy your little man.
The nipples will be sore for a while, it's pretty intense but if you can ride through it it will come right. Even with the best latch my nipples get sore for the first couple of weeks.

Congradulations on your crazy successful birth! Pff! To all of those people who would say it is nearly iompossible to birth a 10 1/2 pound babe out... and with no epi! I'm strivin' for that natural birth as well.. have had some helpful advice from a couple of ladies on this site so far and that's about it! Sowright has some good questions....?! And to add one on did you have a midwife or your doula at your house while you were laboring? I would really like to avoid going to the hospital for as long as possible but I don't have either one of those.. cheers to your and your family!

YES!!! I knew you could do it! Daaammmn 10lbs. You are a rock star! Do you just look at him in amazment? Can't believe he's finally here? He's so beautiful and I am so proud of you! How was breathing him down? Was it full on pushing or the breathing techniques. Or did the pain hit and all the hypnobirthing go flying out the window? What were you using for coping with the rushes? gravity, hands and knees, ball? YES!! Fanfreakintastic! i wanna see more pics!!

Congratulations! I enjoyed reading your birth story and was amazed that you were able to give birth vaginally to beautiful healthy 10lb baby! I wish I had too. I got sad reading your story cuz my boy was 9lbs and I had an emergency c/s when I so wished I had the full experience of pushing him out. But ...maybe w./the next one huh? Congrats again! Beautiful baby!
