Wow, that sounds sooo cool. I hope we get Espinosa. I would love to do natural, but I don't think I'll have the courage. I have given myself the option of getting the epidural if I really need it or there's a drug called Numorphine (sp?). I don't think I have a high tolerance for pain, so we'll see. I would love to try the bath and birthing ball and can't do that with the epi so want to try that first. I have written a few visualization scripts to try and distract my mind when I'm in labor but don't know if that will work. What about you? Are you going natural? Yes, I am friends with Estrella on facebook (went to high school with her) and her baby girl is so cute! Hopefully we'll be going sometime this week!!

It is hospital policy. Actually it's policy says 39 weeks for the section. I begged my doctor to let me go a little further. No induction allowed, contractions are to strong and chances of uteran rupture go up by 3%. yada yada yada. I feel the same way, 7 lber bring it on, 10 lber....well ok let me try and I'll take an epidural, but anything bigger...oh shit. I am 5'1 on a good day, when I stretch. I like your plan, i gonna think about you all night. Sending you birthing vibes mama.

O's hurt. It feels like a full on contraction. My belly gets really hard and you can see the outline of the baby. Not very sexy. More like oohh, oohh, oooww,ooww,ow, ouch! And i have enough "moisture" down there already, like I need more. I am so ready for this. I have a deadline, august 13th is my sheduled cs. I think i am going to call in sick, they won't operate if your not feeling well. I just really want him to choose his birthday. I am trying to keep myself busy and my mind somewhere else. Dude, you are still working aren't you? I hope your job is easy, I'm feeling for ya.

No, I don't have to go in for any screening except for a stress test which would be only a day before my induction, on the 18th. I'm getting so discouraged as I feel like I'm going no where. Although Im 3 cm dialated, I feel no cramping, contractions or anything. I just really want my baby!

Yep, I'm at St. Mary's too! That would be interesting if we delivered at the same time. My doctor at least gave me an induction date of August 19th, which I do NOT want to be induced but there's an ending date in sight if I go that long. Let's hope not though. Yes, 3 cm of no pain, yay!

oh man, how terrible for ur sis not to get even a glass of water to get that taste out of her mouth. i would have freaked out on someone. thats really cool that u have a place at ur hospital like that. does ur hospital have a lot of midwives that practice there?? or do they have a labor tub? some of the more modern places have a lot more places to make laboring wmen and their families comfortable. ask u to leave...lol that is so funny. i know i was thinking to my self, what if they catch me,, are they going to spank me or something??lol.

Whenever I have problems with my bobbin tearing shit up, i have the bobbin in upside down. Will it do it on a different stitch, try a diff stitch first. Are you zigzag or straight?

After thinking my whole life that people in Madison really are considerate i realized that it seems like maybe their not..... I noticed more people in smaller towns ( that i have lived in after growing up in Madison) helping out complete strangers then in the mad town. Maybe it was just one of those days however that every one was just hot and grumpy.......I'm glad your OK and baby didn't hit the pavement. I fell on my bum when i was prego with my second and i was soooooooo nervous.....all in all we have great cushion in there though!

LOL. I'm sorry you went through all of that, but is makes me feel less of a klutz and sounds like baby is alright!!! Go you, with your bikini top, you are braver than I... I'm even envious you have the energy to tend to your garden. I have energy, but not in 90+ degrees heat!
