Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

laura. - Friday, 2 May hi hannah luv i am back! internet sorted at long last! missed it! well its been a bit stressful, but here we are now all settled in getting to know a new area. never even visited the area we moved to just went one day, decided we liked the look of it, and its only 10 miles from family, thought it would be ok. its nice and quiet though which is what we wanted and you can hear lambs in the field next door lol. so hows things with you and little mai? anything come of that newspaper interview you did? isabelle got the start of her 1st tooth this week, shes been a bit grumpy on and off bless her, but not too bad, sleepings been right erratic though, i think the upheaval of moving didnt help. i got quite stressed and as i was soo busy i lost 7lb in 2 weeks just in time for my holiday so thats pleased me lol. anyway got to go, hope your well xxx
laura. - Tuesday, 1 Apr hi luv thats no good moving while pregnant lol. i am sure it will all go ok but i am dreading it. so hows the little lady and you? hows the sleeping situation? the toothy pegs? xxx
laura. - Monday, 31 Mar aww poor mai bless her hope she is all better now. and sorry you didnt have the best b.day. happy belated one from us) ive not had a minute to myself lately, we are planning to move at the end of the month so its been hectic here. so if my messages are short and sweet u know why! xxx
tatianac - Tuesday, 25 Mar Hi! Your litle girl is beautiful! I am doing well. Sophia is growing so fast! Shr has been keeping me busy... at night the wakes up every 3 hours to eat and during the day she likes to be held... living me a complete house mom.. I wish she would stay on her bouncer or her swing, but she screams like crazy! lol! She is my litle boss! How is Mai? She looks like an angel!
laura. - Saturday, 15 Mar In the paper yet hun!??? hows your weekend going? its been tipping it down here ALL day we got soaked when we went to the town! we didnt need anything just wanted to take isabelle out in the baby bjorn! xx
laura. - Tuesday, 11 Mar hi yes i am going to persevere (cant spell it lol) with the tum thing. my trouble is she has got me wrapped around her little finger and as soon as she looks unhappy i want to make it all better...i'm in for trouble in the future i can tell lol. i am still amazed that she will suddenly settle herself asleep in her cot when before she would go wild as soon as i put her in there and would wake up. i put her in wide awake tonight and so far not a murmur. (touch wood) what about your big boss eh? what the heck went on there? what u up to tomorrow? i have got mommy flu so i am not up to much just getting thru the day i suppose (bring out the violins lol) i cant moan though dave just went up and run me a bubble bath and put loads of candles round too. i think he is guilty about something lol...men cant win lol. night night hun xx
laura. - Monday, 10 Mar so glad hannah. theres nothing worse than losing sleep. i get soooo cranky its untrue. i can cope with most things but losing sleep isnt one of them lol. so you can imagine how i got on with a colicky new baby! not the best!! anyway i am glad she is going in the right direction. i saw our pics on facebook earlier, i always forget to go on there, little mai is sooo beautiful and is definaltely going to break a few hearts. i saw the pic of her looking like she was about to start crawling. i cant get isabelle anywhere near that. she hates it on her belly. she stands up with the minimum of help from me, but wont lie on her belly the funny girl. how did you get mai used to it? i reckon isabelle will learn to crawl after she walks! xxx
laura. - Sunday, 9 Mar 10am this morning!! what d'ya reckon to that lol! she had her 1st night in her own room last night. i made it all cosy for her and put her in at 8.30 as usual. then she woke at 2.30am so i fed her in her room and she slept then from 3am till 7am and then i sneaked down to the spare room and we cuddled till 10am! lol. that made up for the bad nights! i thought dave would be the tough one and say she needs to go in her own room but it was me! i think its best and she is 6 months and 2 weeks now. how long has little mai been in her own room? hope u had a good night and i hope this one is good too.. the night time shenanegans make good reading i think it makes us feel not so alone when we can barely keep our eyes open in the middle of the night! xx ps hope her little teeth arent hurting her too much
laura. - Thursday, 6 Mar hi luv oh poor little mai with her little teeth. i am definalty going to try that night time calpol. have to tried the herbal remedy the nelsons teething granules are good? worth a go if you havent. wouldnt worry about her weight for the week, she is a good chunky baba. its horrible when they wont eat though, aye they will be all grown up soon lol. i dont want to even think about how grown up i will be when that happens! 4.30am is blinking early. is she in her own room yet? i was down in spare room again last night with isabelle at nearly 4am to feed her, she then slept till 8am. i tried to get her to cuddle up a bit longer but no luck lol. hope u have a better night tonight. isabelle went up at 8.30 so lets see how long we have got! she was a little star today though and didnt cry all day until the last hour before bed which is very unusual for her. xx
laura. - Wednesday, 5 Mar you certainly arent alone luv. thats why i decided to co-sleep with isabelle months ago! i couldnt bear the endless sleepless nights. the other night was unusual, her not sleeping at all. she normally does real well when i sleep next to her. its not the ideal, as i want her to sleep in her own bed in her own room soon, but i cant stop feeding her at night yet as she isnt gaining enough weight and she still doesnt really have enough solids, so its me and my boobies day and night whenever madam calls! lol. i am pleased that she now will settle herself in her cot when i take her up first, its when she wakes for booby then i have trouble getting her back in to her cot. i must admit i usually dont even bother and go straight to the spare room so i can lie down and fall asleep while she helps herself lol. its just to knackering otherwise up and down like a brides nightie!! xxx
laura. - Wednesday, 5 Mar ooo that place you took little un to sounds nice. there isnt anything good like that round here its useless. is that how many colds they will get? jeez! isabelle is 6 months one week now and she hasnt had a cold yet. so i bet the next 6 months are going to be hell!! i spoke too soon with the sleeping situation. the night after the almost ok night, she slept for 2 hours then one hour then wouldnt go back to sleep for about 5 hours! i eventually shoved her on the bed with dave( i had gone to spare room at about 2am) it was 5am when i delivered her to dave and she didnt sleep till gone 8am! little madam. she spent the time from 5 till 8am screaming at dave!! she had a 2 hour nap in the day so that obviously was not a good move!! lol xx
laura. - Sunday, 2 Mar happy mothers day! first one eh? lol. mine wasnt very restful, started off ok, then isabelle went bezerk for ages and i was trying to clear the garden as it has been neglected since i found out i was pregnant lol. had a nice breakfast though and a lovely card hand painted by my hubby and some flowers. bless. what did you get? hope you had a more chilled day than me i am knackered and my face has gone all red and itchy with the stress lol. hows mai's cold? hope she is all better now and sleeping ok for mama. isabelle back up to 6 hours sleeping without waking for food so thats better than 2! xxx
laura. - Thursday, 28 Feb hiya she isnt really sleeping that much in the day now, just the odd nap here and there, the health visitor said (not them again) that its nothing to worry about until she reaches 7 months then she should be eating enough solids to keep her sleeping through the night so we'll see. its weird though as last week it was 8 hours straiht without waking and this week its been anything from 1.5 hours to 4 max. hows mai now? all better i hope? xx
laura. - Tuesday, 26 Feb same again last night the little baby devil! was weighed this morning and she is now 13lb 3oz the health visitor said she is long and lean and we will all be jealous of her when she grows up! lol... poor little mai with her little red nose, hope she sleeps ok for you again. isabelle is in her jumperoo at the moment i am trying to get her to use some energy see if that does the trick! xx
