Mercer - Friday, 5 December Hey! How've you been? I don't ever get on the computer anymore but I do try to check up in here every now and then... not very often. I just wanted to see how you and the babe are doing! I have to run... Lola is calling me from her exersaucer : ) Hope all is well!
Eclairesmom - Friday, 5 December He is a month old and yes it is getting exhausting. I feel as though my whole existence is hooked to this intense schedule of pumping every 3 hours and feeding him every 2 with a bottle. I can hardly leave the house. I keep telling myself I am going to try the nipple shield again, but I am so stuck in this routine I have not had a chance yet. You know I am going to try it today! Did your son ever get latched on again? Is there still hope? Thanks
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

sharra - Tuesday, 25 November Hi, thanks for all the info. I had to go off the fenugreek because of an interaction with the med I am on for depression. it sucks! I am still doing pretty good. I had to supplement 1 oz yesterday! He seems to be getting what he needs right now. I have talked to some moms who have had to supplement all the way through and they were fine with it. I have taken reglan before and it made be feel panic. It was strange stuff. Anyway, thanks for your response. Have a happy T day!
puppiesandbabies - Tuesday, 25 November OMG! You are not alone! Dh was buying the monitor and we were on the phone trying to decide which one to buy. My only phrase was " Dear get the one that will make us sleep peacefully from now on" We are a bit paranoid but you never know, and Iam sure you dont want to risk it. It is funny how you quote H.Hunter, sometimes I feel like say ing that out loud when holding him. LOL
memma84 - Tuesday, 25 November I have the Tommee Tippee ultimate reassurance monitor, it also has the sensor pad that alarms if bubs doesnt breathe. If you want to be able to relax, i suggest you get that type of monitor, and do a first aid course so you know you wont panic if anythin happens, especially if you or someone you visit has a pool
puppiesandbabies - Tuesday, 25 November A few weeks ago we got the Angel Care monitor and an alarm goes on if the baby stops breathing for 20 seconds. Has a sensor pad that registers the slightest movement ( as in breathing), tells you the temperature and of course has a wireless component that you can take along. I even put the baby on the sensor pad spot for naps. Before that I just couldnt sleep , I had to wake up and check his chest moving ( sometimes waking him up ) or use a flash light to see him. I would go to bed praying for him to wake up in the morning. If there one ting I could recommend you, that would be the monitor I told you about, it is pricey in comparison with others but it is worth every penny. I hope you find a good solution that suits you best.
suzetter - Tuesday, 25 November Hi- I just read your post in the 3 month section. I wanted to come comment on that. I am also deathly afraid of SIDS. I lost my baby cousin to SIDS a few years ago so it really hits home. You always hear about it, but it is super real to me and my family. I check him several times in the night and always panic. To be honest they say a million different things can cause SIDS but when they did my cousins autopsy, she was missing a specifc gene that puts chlidren at a high risk for SIDS. so its not necessarily anything you do. Sometimes you cant prevent it. I'm sure that doesnt help your worrying but I just wanted to let you know tha tyour not alone.
ToveAndBrody - Monday, 24 November hi, I've been on motillium 5 weeks now. and yes the mobi site was very informative. I hemoraged during my csection and needed two bags of pitocin..I read pitocin can cause milk troubles as well as csections too. and I have implants which probably doesn't help..lol. funny I already take metamucil everyday..I could try increasing it and see if I make more. today and yesterday my breast feel full but when I go to pump not much comes out. I've been playing with the ten min on/off technique and power pumping and his nurses at the breast too. I'm back at work now so that has challenges too but I am pumping at work...I'm only a .5 so don't work that much. have u tried that tea from overseas they were talking about awhile back? I'm already on so much and I don't especially like tea..I'd rather just take a pill. oh I take whey protein and when I missed a day I made less milk. thanks for your help
jblueyes17 - Monday, 24 November Thank you for your message, to be honest i forgot where I posted, ha! I have been exclusively pumping and couldn't keep up so opted to do 2 oz breast milk and 2 oz formula. I hate to keep going back and forth and confusing him, but i think I may try bf again tomorrow when we are alone and have peace and quiet (my hubby always has the tv on). However, the klast 3 times I attempted to bf, he vomited, not just a little, but a ton like the baby on the Four Christmases commercial (Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn). I think he is used to sucking on the "slow" nipple and my milk comes out faster than he expects and he takes too much in. We'll see, hate to make him puke tho. Hope all is well with you and your family...Happy Thanksgiving!
