Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. He's still pretty cranky this week. My sister's girlfriend said she saw a top tooth breaking through, but I can't see anything, lol. She's a dental assistant so I guess I have to take her word for it, lol.

SO nice to chat again :) I think both scenerios sound good :) You will def get a warm fussing feeling when you find the right place for him. I had a few different sitters, once I had a bad experience I kind of had a better idea on what to look for. I considered myself getting a mom to join my care group and maybe one day I will ~ does make it much easier with multiple kiddos ~ chat soon (())

oh I would have loved to watch your little guy he is adorable! When I did daycare I loved it. I did have a couple of issues with parents no picking up their kids on time but I never had a parent that dropped me because they thought I wasn't taken good care of their kid. I think you should only do daycare if you like kids. I have actually known a lady that did it and the kids just drove her nuts. I still have no idea why she did daycare other than the money I guess. I truley loved the kids I watched they were like my kids:) You will find someone good:) There are some really good daycare providers. Oh and when I was licensed the rule was no more than 8 which was 2 infants 4 kids and 2 after school kids. Not 8 at one time. Or 4 infants and that was it. If they have a helper they could have more I think it was 12 if I remember correctly.

Aw poor baby! I think Benjamin is teething right now, this past week he was so cranky! He already has two bottom teeth, he got them a while ago and I've been waiting for others to pop through and I guess the time is now! Does your son have any teeth yet?

Ya, that is a lot of kids...is that legal? I thought they were only allowed like 3 or 4 kids per adult?
I suppose it is different everywhere.
Yes, I do appreciate that it is someone who loves my daughter dearly looking after her and in my home. I am very grateful. Sometimes I feel a little guilty. She is retired and should be enjoying her time, but she offered and I wasn't about to turn her down!

Just wanted to say I hope I didnt sound harsh (((hugs))) I do feel it is ok that she isnt able to answer the phone each time but I think there should be some that she was able to answer though so if she almost never answers that isnt good ~ I often communicate with moms via email too so that is another way she can let you know how things are :) How many kids does she care for and what are the ages? As far as a center, I have mixed feelings, I dont feel a center makes it a better place ~ I know some that are good some that are not so good. Centers tend to be less flexible in going with his direction in what he needs and can do at times with milestones feeding methods etc etc. :) Look forward to chatting :)

(()) I read your blog ~ you def have concerns but sadly do agree/understand with her unable to answer hte phone ~ I have 2-3 kids here that I care for and rarely answer when the calls come in BUT, this is where I'd be concerned, I always call them back soon as I can. I am not always able to get to phone if kids are on floor, feeding, diapers etc etc. If I can answer I do but if I cant I call back. She should always be calling you back, that is just not acceptable. I've been doing hcildcare for 13 years and the moms typically called once day in the first couple weeks but not really past that unless there was a concern. ((((()))))
