trixie369 - Saturday, 6 December Wow! I read your birth story...that is amazing. I am also going to try to labor without drugs. I know it is going to be very tough for me. I have had a taste of what contractions are going to feel like and ....damn....it hurts. Just have to surrender to the pain. Thanks for posting that beautiful birth story. And Tamas is adorable!
trixie369 - Saturday, 6 December Thank you for telling me some techniques to use for my labor! I will welcome each contraction....
AmyBradford922 - Tuesday, 7 October THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT ON MY BLOG... I JUST FEEL WEIRD AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE IT WAS NORMAL!!!
AmyBradford922 - Thursday, 2 October Thats so much! I do hope it does go away but in the end, its all worth it!!!
AmyBradford922 - Thursday, 2 October Thank you for your comment to my morning sickness question. I just started week 7 and for the last 2 days food has been horrible for me. Well, not really the food, the smell of food has been. I haven't thrown-up or anything yet but I feel like I should sometimes! Thanks again!
JOY2B - Wednesday, 1 October I knew I forgot one option on my poll!!
Just♥Mommy - Friday, 8 August Thanks for the comment on my poll. To answer your question -- all birthing rooms at hospitals near me are private. You don't birth with any other person in the room (birthing too) -- the place that I can go to, is a very nice upscale hospital - my FIL is a VP there and I can get a really nice room with a queen bed to myself for me and my husband, and baby will stay with me the entire time. It's very quiet and very family-oriented.
The only problem is that it's 45 minutes away and it's not necessary for me to go there, the hospital that I am registered to deliver at is 5 minutes from my house and is nice too.
Where are you from? Do they not have private rooms for birthing mothers? I can understand having to share a recovery room with another woman, but not a birthing room. That's crazy!
josslyns-mama - Monday, 30 June Thanks for the information, hopefully I get to go pad-less soon, I plan on bfing as long as possible. Take Care.
Yeah go for what you want. I named my son Sebastian and beforehand when I told my gran she actually said "that's a poof's name!" I dont know if it means the same over you're neck of the woods but here it's a derogatory name for a gay man. I called him it anyay regardless of what she said. And when she snuggles him now and coos his name, I totally rub it in what she said! x
kamilah1 - Monday, 9 June hello and congratulations!!! I love the name Kamden I opted for the K instead of the C because the first three letters in my name are KAM as well as my son's name. I thought it would be cute to have a Kamilah Kamari and Kamden LOL , Sylvester Otis just doesn't fit in so many ways I feel like I would be torturing my child with that name!!!
fruitymum - Friday, 6 June thnks for voting on my names, not many people like luca but i think its really cute! i voted on your names, they are nice!!xx
julianna-momto4 - Monday, 26 May Hi just commenting on your poll about how many boys before having a girl. Well I have 3 boys ages 5, 3 and almost 2. I am now finally pregnant with my first girl. My husband has 2 brothers and a younger sister, just how my family is going to be. So maybe if you keep trying you will finally have a little girl! But do you plan on having more children after your second? Well good luck!
sera88 - Monday, 12 May wow so ur having a boy too ! Congrats !.. i felt the same as u a bit sad cause i realli wanted a girl.. but i knew id love my little boy just as much .. i just want him here already lol im getting so impatient ..
nancy26 - Wednesday, 23 April Hi hon! I love your profile pic! SO cute! You look really naughty :) Thank you SO much for your comment - I'm in Ireland, so am lost with US meds as well... I'm on a home-made "tincture" of lemon juice and honey (drunk straight) which seems to be helping.. the cough has broken, and while it's still really really sore to cough, at least the stuff is coming up now, and it's not as frequent! I've been off home for two days, but am hitting stressed panic stations because I only have four weeks left of work and SO MUCH to do!! Trying to relax and take it easy, because I'm sure half the reason I'm so sick all the time now is stress (okay and really bad weather lately!)
I felt so terrible, because after I posted that message, I went home where my awesome, beautiful husband ran me a hot bath, made dinner, made me tea, cleaned the kitchen... did everything, and I ended up picking a hormonal emotional fight with him due to lack of sleep. Man did I feel like a total idiot.. I've been apologising for two days straight, now that I've slept and my head is back on my shoulders where it belongs ! LOL
How're things with you?
jenlove - Tuesday, 22 April Thank you! I actually finally broke down and called the doc yesterday, glad I did! I can take Pepcid twice a day every day. I am so happy! Sent my husband right out to get it and slept well last night! YAY! How are you? How's your first trimester so far? Hope you're doing well!
