I never asked you, what happened with Jackson if you do not mind me asking? I love that name. I am so sorry to ask right now. Ecspecially with the holidays coming. I know this is the hardest time of year. Trust me, my depression is slowing setting in. It has been in full force for three weeks now. I think the holidays coming, PMS and being told I cannot be there when my sister delivers in December (her man doesnt want me there) all adds to it.

I have no clue what to get Miley either. I think we are just gonna get something little and then see what she gets from everyone else. And then go from there. I can't wait for Miley to really walk, but on the other hand it's all good right now! She's already such a handful. Isn't it so funny how fast they can crawl when they're after something they want. Miley was chasing the dog today. And she was cracking herself up. She's so funny. We're having that many people becasue we have alot of family that lives here so that means we have to invite all of them. Then plus friends it all adds up. It's all good though. We're just gonna order some chicken and have a relaxing day at the park. I'm not gonna do games or anything. I figure the park will keep the kiddies busy. And then we'll have yummy cupcakes and then send everyone home! He,he! :) What are you gonna get Lily for her b-day. I have no idea what to get Miley. Hubby said we should wait and see what everyone else gets her. Can;t believe she'll be 1 in 2 days!!! TTYL!

Things are going well over here. Amaya is trying to walk. I cannot believe she will almost be 1. But just getting ready for Christmas because I refuse to shop in Nov and Dec. But nothing new over here. How about you?

hey hun all good with me - 10 weeks 4 days today so finally nearing the end of the first trimester yipeee! Have my 12 week scan in 2 weeks and then if all goes well can finally start telling family and friends - can't wait as the in laws are actually visiting us at that time so can tell them the news face to face! How are things with you and how is that gorgeous little girl of yours! Not long till her first birthday wow!

Hey there! Things are good just been busy trying to make sure I have details in order for the big b-day this weekend!!! If we didn;t have 60-70 people I so would of done Chuck E. Cheese too!! :) Things are coming along though, just feel like I'm gonna forget something. So Miley has taken about 6 steps at a time now. So probably not too much longer for the whole walking thing. Pedicures are the best I tell ya! :) I'll have to check out the Children's Place. I went out yesterday and found her nothing cute. I got her a cute little yellow light jacket that has pink cupcakes all over it. Figured that would be cute for her to wear at her cupcake b-day party. But, the cupcakes are pretty little so don't hink they will show up cute in her pictures I'm getting done on Monday. So who knows! I'll figure it out! :)

Well I'm off to take Kaylyn to school. And then maybe come home and take a nap. I slept horrible last night. TTYL!

2ndBaby4me - Monday, 6 October
Weekend was good. We went to 2 b-day parties on Saturday. And Sunday I went and got a pedicure with my mom and Kaylyn. We had a good time. It was nice and relaxing. Now back to Monday! Ugghh! :) Miley went to sleep last night at 7:30pm and woke up at 7am this morning. That's what I'm talking about! Did you make any plans yet for Lily's 1 st b-day. I'm trying to get it all together. In less than 2 weeks my baby girl is gonna be 1!! I made an appt. to get her pics done next Monday. Now I gotta find her an outfit! Yeah, a reason to go shopping! :) Anyway, I hope you have a good one.

I don't blame you for wanting to wait a little before trying for another baby. Times are always hard, but esecially now it's even harder. And since my hubby is the only one that works, I have no idea what we'd do if he lost his job. I too believe that thinking positive will make things be alright. I wish you much luck! And I'm sure the perfect time will come to have another Lily! :) I'm still thinking about another one. No rush at all though if we decide. I have my hands full with the 2 of them plus hubby right now! :D You know when you think of how many kids you'd have when you were younger I always thought I'd have 2. So now to think of a 3rd is just kinda strange. Not bad, just strange ya know. We'll just have to see I guess. Anyway hope you have a good weekend. TTYL!

Sorry to hear about your hubby getting laid off. How horrible. My hubby has been worried about his job to. Hopefully the economy will be picking up real soon!! I still can't believe Lily is walking! Growing up way too fast I tell ya. Miley is thinkig about it more and more everyday. She is so gonna be a talker though. She just goes on and on all day. She's always been like that, but the last week it has been even worse. I talk to her or just ask her something and she just blabbers on and on like she's actually responding to what I just said to her. It's funny. Kaylyn is a talker too though. So with Kaylyn, Miley and I, my poor hubby is in for it!! He, he! :D Tomorrow is friday, yeah!!! Doing anything exciting this weekend?

I can't believe Lily's already walking!! You said you thought she would walk first before crawling! How exciting! Miley just stands in there in the middle of the room not holding on to anything forever. And she just now this week loves her bike/walker that she can stand up and pushe. It makes me so nervous to see her pushing it across the floor. We have a lot of tile so that little bike can move! I make hubby watch her because it makes me too nervous! :) Happy Wednesday to you to. It't closer to friday now! TYYL!!

He's doing great... yeah kayson has 4 teeth too... and then you can see 4 more coming in as well.
we are supposed to be getting a house too... so that should be good for us we were supposed to close today but we didnt have all the paperwork so hopefully monday.

Hey you! So we're back from Disneyland. We had a blast!! And Miley was soooo good. Not only was she great at Disneyland but, she was great on the almost 5 hour drive to and from. Can't wait to go back!! I'm gonna do the trial run on the big cupcake this weekend. For sure I will let you know he out come!! I'm so excited that you said yes on trying for another baby!!! I remember right after we had the girls we both were like no way would we ever do that again!! Ha,ha!! But, every pregnancy and delivery is different. With my first it was a piece of cake (both the pregnancy & delivery). And with Miley it was rough all the way around. So I'm thinking this time around will be great for you!! Can't wait to hear that you're pregnant!!! Wishing you much luck! TTYL!

It was fast. We did not have the pool. Our AC broke that day so I had called an AC guy and Derek and I were in the living room watching TV and he was eating this lollipop. He kept throwing the stick at the ceiling fan so I told him to throw it away. For some reason he wanted to throw it away on the back patio. I argued with him for a minute but then gave in and said okay go throw it away. It was seriously not even 5 feet from me. I had the sliding glass door open because of the no air and the can was just outside the door to the right. So I figured, no big deal. What can happen right? Boy was I wrong. Within seconds of him not returning, I started calling for him. I could not find him anywhere. When I had gotten home that day, I had gone out through our backyard, through the side gate to reset the breakers to try and get the AC to come on. I had closed the gate but I couldn't latch it. I figured, it will be okay, Dan (my ex) can latch it when he gets home in an hour. WRONG. Derek for whatever reason that day, went to the gate, pulled it open and then closed it. Needless to say the LAST place I looked was in my neighbor's backyard. Their back gate was broken and they had an unfenced pool.

So many people have said I should be in jail, etc. But what people do not realize is that none of us are perfect and the smallest mistake or choice that we make in one second can have the hugest consequence. We had never been to our neighbor's house. It never, ever even crossed my mind that I had to worry about the swimming pool next door. Basically what it comes down to is that as a society, we are so quick to point the finger at the other person that we do not look inward. And this is why I say, Don't just watch your kids around water, but watch for water AROUND your kids. You do not have to have a pool for this to happen. Drowning was my worst fear. I never wanted that responsibilty or danger in my home. And it still took my son.

We have since moved and the house next door has a pool. But this time, I have latches at the top of all of MY doors, self closing and latching back gates AND extra security locks on the sliding glass door at the top. I have learned to protect my home like I am the one with the pool.

Well I am going with my soon to be hubby and then all of our friends combined. Just one big party. :o) They say it takes a few months to get pg but if your fertile mertile like me, it took us, ummm 2 weeks! :o) You gotta keep me posted on your progress.

How old was your son and what happened? Derek was 3 years old when he drowned. It happened in 2004. He would have been 7 this year. So trust me, I completely understand when you talk about how hard it is to go through. We both belong to the special club that no one should ever join.... *hugs*
