Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. NO! I haven't and he is almost 15 months! He still loves his bottle and will throw sippy cups when we give them to him, the little turd! I breastfed until 11 months. We are just now starting to do the cry it out or ferber method with him at bedtime because he was still waking nearly every night and would not go to bed on his own. It breaks my heart but he wasn't and we weren't getting enough sleep! Other than that, he just got his first haircut and looks SO CUTE! Do you have myspace? Or email? If you do, that would be easier because I hardly ever come here anymore

hey there darlin'! hope you are well!!!? miss ya!! yes, Ethan is off the bottle, but i tricked him a little in order to do it!! haha! i gave him a soft spout "NUK" sippy cup, it took a day or so for him to realize it was much faster to accomplish the satisfied thirst, but once he figured it out, he loves it! now don't get me wrong, he will happily steal a bottle if he sees one that the girls are playing with for their dolls, but when i scoop it up and give him a sippy, he doesn't argue so much anymore! YEA!! but i have a pacifier baby, so that is my soon to defeat threat of the moment! haha!! i have never had a paci baby before, so that is new ground to cover for sure!! wish me luck!! oh! and by the way, now that he will use a sippy cup, since i tricked him with the soft spout... he will also use his AVENT sippy cups!! so i use both and give him a choice! good luck my darling! big hugs, and yes, i totally fall for those sweet croc tears also!! you aren't alone!!

i know!! crying for a bit never hurt anyone to my knowledge, i am sure my mom let me cry, and i know i have let mine cry for a few when they just so obviously needed to cry... i didn't mean to get on a rant, just wanted to make my point! guess it was made?? crazy people!

Well I really will not be coming to San Diego now... I left my husband! About 3 weeks ago. I am in Fayetteville, AR now and so far happy. The girls are doing good! I wish you had a myspace page...

hahaha! i am certainly not Queen Mom on here, but it is nice of you to say! hee hee!! and you are soooo not the bad mom just because you gave Peyton some ravioli! Silly!! let's start with Ethan is wonderful, and finally starting to feel better, but his cough is hanging on for dear life!!! poor baby!! but he is absolutely perfect otherwise!! he does the same thing... stares at our food, so i try different things on him, like macaroni, mashed potatoes, fish sticks, biscuits! things he can suck on since he doesn't have any teeth just yet! he plays with it all mostly, but it helps him to learn and not look so helpless when he has to watch all of us eat!! any of the Chefboyardee stuff is a great start to different textures, and definitely fun to watch them gobble it up!! i am just as guilty with spaghettios and stuff like that, but unfortunately like fish sticks and other stuff, it is soooo unhealthy... blah blah blah, i know, i hate that it is because i still will give it to him on occasion, but i also will take whatever i am eating and mash it up as best i can and give him teeny bites. he does okay with lots of stuff! he likes that Pasta e Fagioli from Olive Garden and their bread sticks, so if it isn't too spicy, and he wants something in his mouth, i will get whatever i think will be easy to mash!! haha! i don't start giving lunch meats or hot dogs or salad or anything like those until they are about 10 months to a year though, because i panic too much about old wives tales and baby nutrition. like i don't give peanut butter, or eggs, or strawberries, etc. things that so many people are suseptible (sp) to developing an allergy to. baby food gets boring to them i think. Ethan goes thru stages where he won't eat it no matter how hard i try, for a few days, and then one day he can't get enough!! funny kiddo!! well anyway, hope this eases your panic a little! OH! i almost forgot, when we go to a restaurant that doesn't really serve something that i feel comfortable giving him, i ask them if they have fresh celery stocks, or i bring a couple from home!! some kids love to suck or chew on something cold when you are chowing down on hot wings and stuffed peppers, and celery is usually served with those things, so it keeps them happy and busy! well, i better run, i hope this helps!! hugs darlin'!! hope Peyton and Elias are great and giving you lots of snuggles!! love, kimberly

hmmmm! haha! i miss you too!! wondering about you and candy a ton lately!! glad to see you are still alive!! LOL!! that is a great question, not sure i can help, but try this... lay him on his tummy next to you and rub the small area of his back (the lowest area above his butt) or pat his rear end and see if this helps... or rub the inside of his ear (NOT THE ACTUAL LOBE!!!) they say the lobe wakes you up, but the inside is so soothing it makes you tired? my kiddos loved it, but not every baby is the same... try it though, you never know! i wish i could figure out Ethan's deal... he is still not sleeping through the night!! wears me out!! funny, i can usually give other people a few tips, but none for myself! i have tried everything! he is such a stinker!! oh well, i get lots of cuddle time i suppose! haha! well girl, keep in touch better and let me know how it goes!! if those things don't work, i will see what else i can come up with!! good luck, and i miss you tons! hugs, k

Oh I hate you!!! I want to go to Hawaii!! Lucky girl! No, we are not moving to SD anytime soon. WE still have another year in ahalf. Then we hope we get orders back there. We shall see. My husband use to live in HI long time ago. One day I will get over there! Megan is doing great! Changing too fast. I have lost all but 2 pounds. I am super excited about that! The kids have been keeping me busy as usual. I am so ready for summer it's not even funny! I just want warmth and cute clothes!!! So how is the breastfeeding? Hope your doing good.

Hey woman how are ya????? Hope you had an awesome Christmas. I did, I kinda got everything I wanted. I actually didn't want much. It just sucked because all of my family left on Christmas. Oh well. I quit breastfeeding the other day. I have enough milk saved up that it will last another month. So I feel pretty good about that, What about you are you still going booby strong????? WEll I hope you are healthy. I am pretty blessed at the moment in that department WOOD WHERE ARE YOU I NEED TO KNOCK!!!!!

I LOVE THE NEW PICTURE,,, You look AWESOME... and your little guy(should I say big guy) looks soooo cute. Are you ready for Christmas? I kinda am. Just bring it on already. Megan has been sick. Had to take her to the emergency room last Friday, ear infections and congestion. LOVELY.... Hopefully she will be all better soon. She is starting to talk again so thats a good sign. She stopped talking when she got so sick. It was sad. Well I hope you have a Merry Christmas. I can't wait!

yup, baby applesauce or pears... number 1 by Beach Nut, you can find it in the same place as the Gerber babyfoods! we just really like BeachNut!! YUUMM!!

YEA! i am so glad that it helped you out!! i started adding 2 BABY spoons of #1 BeachNut applesauce to Ethan's cereal bottles night before last after he had just the cereal bottle for a few day's, and he loved it!! sucked it down even faster than just plain cereal and formula! all of my older kiddos loved theirs that way when they were babies too, so i thought i would try it out... worked out great! i usually switch out applesauce and pears with that same mix of cereal and formula in a 5 ounce bottle and it still mixes just fine! give it a try, let me know how it works out? godd luck, love, k

2 ounces in his bottle! i just mix 5ounces of formula or breastmilk with 2 ounces of dry rice cereal (rice is easier to digest than oatmeal or barley) shake well! i use a number 3 nipple by AVENT, but you can make any nipple hole larger, just not too big! haha! i was out of practice after all these years, and made the hole too big the first go round, and almost drowned my poor baby! he is 6 weeks today, and we started a few nights ago... when he couldn't drink it fast enough, he looked at me like i was nuts and started that heartwrenching cry... like i did it on purpose or something... you know? i felt terrible! but we fixed it, and now he is so much happier when he goes to sleep!! haha! it doesn't really help him to sleep longer, only better! less restless!! LOVE IT!! well, good luck, and the baby is such a cutie pie!!

Hey woman,I have been thinking about you!!! I just can't seem to find the time to get on here. She is ALWAYS up. work has been busy and Michael is always working so I HAVE BEEN BUSY like you!!! So how is your oldest loving a new brother??? All the girls love Megan. Except when she cries too much. I actually think it is funny when they want her to stop and she doesn't. I am thinking about not breast feeding anymore. I feel bad because it's for my own selfish reasons. I want to lose weight. I want my boobs to go back down. Who knows.... ITs just hard deciding what to do.... Well I hope you are GREAT!! I miss chatting with ya!!! Hopefully I can get my ass going and get on here more... WE SHALL SEE!!!
