Hi Lucy I get really cranky with my kids and husband all the time, and feel like I can't help it. I'm sick of my self and them for this reason. I also get pregnancy blues (this is baby #3) like you seem to have, but mine are often in the first 3-4 months. Mine seem to be related to feeling terrible from morning sickness, being extremely tired and having big changes in hormones. But I often get a bit blue on and off throughtout my pregnancies. Hope this helps :)

yeah I know that sometimes i over react but its because im so frustrated that he doesnt understand (or try to understand) what im going through. For example we got into a fight last saturday and he was like 'well all you do is get home from work, throw on sweatpants and fall asleep on the couch by 6:00!' and it upset me cause im thinkin...you try having no clothes that fit! And being exhausted all the time for no reason! But he just doesnt get it. I talked to his mom about it last night and she said the same thing 'men just dont understand! With both my pregnancies I was as frustrated as you are!' So we are not alone hunn!! :)

awwww, I know how you have been feeling, I've been feeling the same way. Sometimes it helps to go hang out with some friends, to remind yourself that you are loved!

hi lucy! i feel the same way!mostly at night though..its normal..i just feel like i need more attention.i ushually get really upset and over emotional when i get too tired!its starting to get better!

I'm sure what your feeling is perfectly normal. I am a basketcase... I can't even watch TV without getting tears in my eyes or the news. Then to top it all off I lost my wedding ring last weekend. Soo cheer up... we are all in there with ya!

I am feeling the same way you are. Although my boyfriend is VERY frustrating and he isnt being as 'thoughful' or 'caring' as I KNOW he should be. I use to shrug it off and try not to get all worked up but now the smallest thing can set me off and i'll scream at him about how he doesnt care about me or the baby and then go upstairs and cry. And i wont talk to him the rest of the night. Even if he does do one of his 1/2 ass apologies! The only thing these days that puts a big smile on my face is reading my baby books! Hoepfully we both start to feel better!

oh bless - know i cant wait for my scan either - been so long last one i had was 12 weeks and my nxt one not till 21 weeks on 28/2/08 so feel like its been ages and still got another 2 and abit weeks to wait x x x x oh i expect the wait will be worth it - you got any names yet???????

That's funny...I was also looking at pictures yesterday of ultrasounds ..trying to learn how to read them for when I go to my ultrasound on the 21st! I see you're from Nova Scotia??? I'm from Halifax, and the IWK doesn't tell you the gender of your baby anymore. We already have a boy and a girl, so I guess it doesn't really matter....but I'm dying to know!!! I want to go out and buy either pink or blue clothes! lol Good luck!

good luck on having a girl, im the opposite i have two girls and am hoping for a boy...my sister is pregnant too and she had an ultrasound done last week and she was only 14 and 1/2 weeks and they told her that she was having a boy so i would think that you'd be able to tell at 16 weeks, but i dunno maybe everyones baby is different? good luck...

lucy, If the water is too hot it will raise your internal body temperature which could cause harm by overheating the baby. My doc said as long as the water is below 100 degrees (f) it is fine. Relax and enjoy! (I use a digital thermometer to check mine cuz I have a tendency to get it hot!)
