m.m. masi, I can't imagine ever pumping 30 oz, but I only pump for about 20 minutes because after that length of time, I only get drops. Should I keep trying or is that pretty much the end of the milk supply?

Hey everyone... Gave birth finally... 6 days overdue...but i know some of you may still be prego, so just hold in there it will happen.. After 21 hours of labor i had a csection, he was 9 lbs 4 oz! 23 inches long! big boy... has HUGE feet... and im not exaggerating when i say that... I love him so much he is the perfect little man... I havent posted pics, but im gunna try here in a minute...so hopefully when you read this you can see the pics... ttyl ladies!

Hey there mama! Was reading your posts in the breastfeeding forum.. thought I would drop in and say hi! Update on us: The girls have been on the breast for 9 days now - no bottles!!! I was trying and trying to ask for your help, but wasn't sure what to ask or how to ask! haha - I appreciated your messages, as I know I wasn't clear when I was asking for your help. I finally attended a La Leche league meeting in my town and what I took away from the meeting... was, pump less often. We were practicing nursing and after each time, I would pump as normal. I wasn't leaving enough in the boobies for the girls. So once I stopped pumping (every three hours, I now pump maybe twice a day) they took off - and we haven't looked back!

The girls are now 8 weeks old and were in on Friday for a weight check. Breanne is 8.5 lbs and Karissa is 7.2!!! I am so proud of them, and myself!

Wanted to say thank you for inspiring me and letting me know that it can be done!!!

Well ladies...went to the doc today, and still nothing...only dialated to 1 cm... and babys head is quite high...this just makes my worry for him not fitting during birth that much bigger... Doc said that ill come back on wednesday and if i havent had him by then, which is one day past my due date, then we will schedual an appointment to get induced... which i am guessing would be the fallowing monday, the 1st of december... 6 days past my due date... so that at least does make me happy that i wont go past by too much... altho i am still worried about his size, with the GD and since he was 4 1/2 pds at 31 weeks... But just figured id update, since ihavent done it in quite awhile... for those due around the same time is me, i would really like to hear how much you guys have progressed and your plans on induction if that is what you think is going to happen to you... ttyl ladies and good luck to anyone about to have their little baby/s! =)

14 oz!!!!!!!! ? Do you pump before feeding your boys? Is the eggnog spiked or just from the grocery fridge? Brand? I am always game for producing more milk. I have never been a good producer and I take the sacred mothers tea but with this one being my first boy after 3 girls he sure does like to eat!

hi I was reading a post on anouther girls profile about your hcg levels at 5 weeks. mine were 5725 and yours were lower then mine and you had twins do you think its possable that im having twins...I dont want twins i mean i love them and everything but my plans to breastfeed would be no more...im scared shitless this time of my life one would do it.....i think its just the fright getting to me thou im not sure :( i mean life is probably hard with twins is it not? did you breastfeed? im SCARED!

Hey there! I am turning to you now for some help ;o)

The girls have been home now for 10 days. I am still pumping and bottle feeding them. I was going to wait until their due date (nov 10) to try to start the nursing thing, since they have been so weak. For the past couple nights though, I have tried nursing instead of getting up to warm a bottle. I believe that a few of those times we were successful! It was a great feeling!!

I am not sure how to transition them completely to the breast though. Nursing takes so much longer than the bottle and my second baby gets pretty darn loud the longer she has to wait. We go to the Dr tomorrow for a weight check and I am going to see if we have the go ahead to start nursing (one of the discharge orders was X amount of breastmilk be fed every 3 hours per girl, and nursing we are not able to track that) so I am excited and nervous about it.

Any tips???
