Oh my gosh that is so creepy! Not that your babies look creepy, they are adorable, but the fact that you can see inside your belly in 4D and actually see what your baby looks like inside there! Wow.

I love both those names. LOL luke and leia woulda been awesome...at least i think so, but I'm a nerd.

Your babies are incredible. The 3D really gives good realistic view of them. COngratulations!

I will certainly be posting pics. I know what you mean. I am 26.5 weeks and everywhere i go people say things like "oh your ready to pop" and i'm like no not really still got like 3 more months to go...lol. But time sure does fly, sometimes it seems like yesturday that i just found out i was having twins.

I'm glad to here your spirits are high....mine are too. although i'm a little freaked out with what the third trimester has to offer....mostly afraid of how big i'm gonna get and if i'll even be able to walk....i'm sure you can relate.

Any names picked out??

IndiMOM - Monday, 12 May
HI, thanks for replying to me, you know sometimes feels like I am all alone in this....have shed tears already. My problem is that my BS numbers are going high again, even though I am taking insulin. but my doctors have asked me to be on bedrest
I am going nuts in putting the GD and bedrest together. Because of GD, I need to walk 20 min to 30 min after my meal, but doctor says feets off the ground all the time :(

And doctor said one twin is at 65% and other one is at 27% but he is not very concerned about that either...but I am going nervous wreck about this :)

Hi, I'm currently 27 weeks and at my appointment last week at 26 weeks I measured 38wks so its no wonder I'm starting to feel uncomfortable. The Dr also said this was completely normal for twins!

Thanks for the message! Congrats to you too! We are so lucky to be having twins, I am also having fraternal boys, but am stuck on the names. I hate calling them baby A and baby B, so I suppose I will have to get busy on picking names out. I'm a fraternal twin, and never put much thought into having some of my own, so I was also surprised when I saw two sacs! Anyhow, thats some of my story, we should keep in touch! ~ Ally

Hi,
I just read your post on the vaginal delivery forum page and was wondering if you could explain it to me more, i am really hoping to have a vaginal delivery and want it to go as easy as possible, what is it the doctor can do?

M.M.Masi - 16 days ago.
My advise to you all having vaginal delivery is to ask your doctor to carefully help your vagina crown the baby. For visual purposes of what I'm trying to explain, have the dr. give you a rotorooter. My regular dr. was not able to deliver my baby and I had a stand in dr. She was great she stood there and crowned the baby as she came out. I didn't tear or get cut. It was the best delivery and recovery.

I was reading your page, and wanted to share that my wonderful husband and I met on match.com. Every person I nkow who has met through the Internet has a wonderful relationship with his or her spouse. I'm beginning to believe that these couples are happier than those who meet otherwise.

It is very likely that you will not carry them full 40 weeks, since twins tend to come early. Mine were born at 37 weeks and by that time I felt that I had enough of that pregnancy - my belly was enormous. They were a bit small, about 2,7 kilos (norm is 3-3,5 kilos), but they were ok and didn't need any special care. They also developed normally and were very healthy (still are, if not counting teenage emotional problems). I was told that very few twins go for full 40 weeks. My friend's twins were even smaller then mine and also were ok. But of course, if you'll be on bedrest, you might be able to cary them longer. probably that is why he wants you to go on bedrest.

That's what I meant about the mirror, being able to see the incision, your uterus being pulled up, the baby being pulled out... I'm not sure if they'll let you do it, but I know that some places do. :)

mama40 - Thursday, 10 April
It seems your doctor is over cautious. No sex, c-section - all because of twins? And you said there is nothing actually wrong with your pregnancy, so why all this fuss? When I had twins, I had sex, I had natural birth even though one of the twins was actually breech at time of delivery (she turned around after first one went out). Well, you have to trust you doctor of course, but still, I begin to think your doctor has little experience with twins, or just too young? Is it possible to ask for second opinion? There is really no reason to do c-sec only because of twins.
