momof3plus2 - Thursday, 3 July I'm 32 weeks today and they measured 4lbs 7oz and 4lbs 11oz. I am very pleased with this! At 30 weeks they were only 2lbs 15oz and 3lbs 4 oz! Now that they are above 4 it is just that much more real to me that its not far away! Ya let me know when you get your scan, its interesting since our dates are so close! Im getting so excited!
momof3plus2 - Thursday, 3 July Hi, I was just wondering what your babies weights were at 32 weeks if you remember?
momof5plus2 - Wednesday, 2 July hi the birth story is on hunters baby profile,
twinstwice - Tuesday, 1 July Hey, don't apologize for going on and on about how you are feeling - isn't that what this site is for? I think it helps to talk about how you are feeling and know that others are going through similar stuff!!!
So I started to monitor my sugars today and so far they aren't even close to being high and I had mini wheats for breakfast! The dietician said to try out a few things that may be border line to get an idea of what I can eat, and since I live off of cereal for breakfast I thought I would try out the mini wheats and all was good! We will see how the rest of the week goes.
I am having a hard time breathing too, and I definitely can't sit for any length of time since both of their heads squish down on my groin and hips, it is making my pelvis swell, yuk. So I spend most of my days laying around and trying not to let my girls sit on my belly since they think it is a perfect chair!
Keep breathing and taking your iron!
twinstwice - Monday, 30 June I had my appointment with the nurse and dietician today and I have to monitor my sugars for the remainder of the pregnancy - blah. They won't give me medication unless diet alone is insufficient to keep my sugars normal. We'll see how it goes this week and then I will have a better idea.
I agree, I am ready for them to come out just because being pregnant is getting harder and harder but no way am I ready for them to come out - some sleep now (as little as it is) is still better then the no sleep I will have once they are here. Plus I couldn't imagine having to go to the NICU everyday and leave my other girls at home.
How have you been feeling?
res - Monday, 30 June That's good to know. Thanks. I have Musinex and pregnancy tests on my list of things to buy today.
Dustyrose001 - Monday, 30 June Im 23 weeks and not too far off from this picture... and Im not having twins :(
res - Monday, 30 June The clearblue monitor? Oh, good. What did it show on the second day?
res - Monday, 30 June So, Musinex really worked for you? I have a daughter, but now we are in our 3rd month of ttc for a second baby. I was thinking of using Robitussin to thin my CM. How much Musinex did you take? Thanks. Congrats on the twins, and I wish you a very healthy pregnancy.
momof3plus2 - Friday, 27 June Hey! Ive been reading about all the ladies whose doctors are taking their babies early (like 35-36 weeks), and I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. My doc refuses to take my boys out till I'm 39 weeks! I too will have like 28 pounds of baby! LOL! But at least I know that they will be ready and thats what is most important!
charlotte74 - Wednesday, 25 June Thankyou for the feed back its always intresting to see what all the other twinies are weighing and doing!!!
x
luvmy-buninoven - Tuesday, 24 June Wow! Congrats on your twins!! Do you know what the genders are yet? I have a set of twin sisters, they just turned 20, it's hard but I'm sure you're ready!
luvmy-buninoven - Monday, 23 June we had a follow-up appt with an ultrasound and bloodtests and he's perfectly fine, what probably happened was since he was large for dates, my womb wasn't giving him enough room to pee well and so his kidneys were enlarged..... turned out to be nothing at all which is great! Thanks for your story!
2boysontheway - Monday, 23 June yes the doc said she would have them out by the end of july...i only have 5 more weeks to go....thank goodness...im approaching misery!! i can barley sit at the puter to type anything...
twinstwice - Friday, 20 June Here in Canada our recommendations are to not start solids until 6 months so as to prevent allergic reactions (I think it is 4 in the States?) So, since at that age they are sitting well we started in high chairs right away. We put them in the chairs for bits at a time the week before just so they were used to it and then always fed them in the chairs. So much easier with twins then holding them as you can just alternate mouthfuls back and forth and have them both fed in about the same amount of time as just one.
How are you feeling? I think I have hit my limit this week and now spend most of my time laying down. I can feel both heads low down and it makes it most uncomfortable to sit (and of course walking isn't much fun since my back get sore). Hard to believe - third trimester!
mommaotwo - Friday, 20 June Thank you for your advice :) They did not put me on bed rest. Its like none of my doctors want to use that term. They only said rest as much as possible. So hopefully they just stay where they are. I'm staying off my feet alot. I just make my trips to the bathroom and to get more water :) so thank you again :)
bernadette - Wednesday, 18 June the dr sent me to physio and they checked me and gave me a strap to see if it would help and told me some exercsises to do. good luck
bernadette - Tuesday, 17 June syphis pubis disfunction. its pressure from extra wait on your pelvic area and it can couse pubic bone to crack. you can get a strap to put round to help support it. theres nothing drs can do about it apart from give basic pain killers. it goes away its self after babys are born.
bernadette - Tuesday, 17 June i was reading on one of your comments you found it hard to lift one of your legs you could have spd as i have this and when im in bed it hurts to turn and get pains down below. check this with your dr.
