Mommie2Tylynn - Monday, 18 August Sooo.... Seeing as though I love my daughter soo much, I am willing to do anything for her2ensure that she's ok. So I ran into a woman in walmart who told me about her daughter and how she was on Similac Isomil(soy) Milk and all her baby was doing was spitting it up soo... I asked her if she had acid reflux... She said No... She said that the pediatrician changed her daughters milk to Similac Sensitive (for babies with lactose digestive issues)... So, I was already in walmart getting my babies milk, so.. why not get about 2cans of the similac sensitive milk and c if it helps her any. So I got her regular milk then 2extra cans of the new milk I wanted2try on my baby... And that night I gave it to her.. She spit up a little... (less than usual) but I didn't mind it because I figured she would still spit up until this was the only milk in her system... So now 3days later all I have given her is Similac sensitive and she has decreased her spitting up tremendously!! It's amazing how a pediatrician can misdiagnose a baby with having acid reflux vs having lactose intolerance issues. What always seemed weird to me is that I was told that when babies have AR that they cry alot because the reflux is very painful and it burns their chest very badly, however my baby isn't a crier.. She hardly cries. She only cries when she's hungry or just wants some lovin from mama and wants me to pick her up love on her and rock her. Her weight was great the last time she went2the dr... so it just didn't sit well with me as far as them telling me she had AR. It's sad that I had2allow my baby to kinda be my (lab hamster/gerbil) but i'm glad I did it because now she couldn't be better!! :-)! I love this mommie intuition... It's great! She weighed 11lbs 13oz her last visit... so she's gaining wonderfully and she isn't tooo big... They say the her height is going well with her weight! So i'm VERY HAPPY!! but NOW I'M EVEN HAPPIER THAT NOT I'VE FOUND THE RIGHT MILK FOR MY BABY TO DRINK!!! YAY!!!!!!! Dani I SHOULD'VE JUST KEPT BREASTFEEDING!!!! :-(
Gracies5th - Tuesday, 12 August Yeah I know it's devastating when you see the numbers going up even though you know it's coming with muscle, I guess that's hormones too. LOL I think I've lost about 3/4 inch off my waist and about an inch off my butt. but it's still huge. yeah the word is stroller, I've never heard it referred to as anything else. No I wish I could go for walks, my husband works 3rd shift and it's very rare that we get to go out for a walk, because to him it's not enough to call exercise and we hold him back cuz he likes to run . But the bike I use has a thing that tells the calorie estimate and minutes and distance along with speed, so I try to keep it up around 35 mph for around 20 minutes but once I hit 600 calories I do a cool down for however many minutes will add to 30 so today I finished when it said I burned 755calories. which is good since I need it. HAH I'm sure you do better than me already.
What is spinning?
Emilie - Monday, 11 August i just want to say thank you for your lovely message, you brought tears to my eyes with your compliments and encouragement, i can't believe you were so kind, i was feeling low this morning cos i am getting married on monday next week and i know that no matter how pretty people will tell me i look, i won't feel it, but it seems so silly when i have a healthy baby on the way, nothing else should matter. i can't wait to be back to me, i just moved house and yesterday i put away all my skinny clothes in a pile and i was wondering if i am gonna get back into them, i know i will cos i am so determined but sometimes things don't go the way we want, everybody is telling me that i won't have time to go to the gym once baby is born, well you know what, i will find the time, even if it means getting up at 5 am to go and do weights. the thing is i have two dogs so i am walking everyday, and will do right til the end if i can, i stopped working out at 20 weeks, but that's because my workout is now so limited that i can't even be bothered to go the gym, also we have just moved and there is so much renovation to do in our home that we have spent the last 4 weekends in DIY shops. once the wedding is over i really want to start swimming again, and try to keep it up til the end, that and the dog walking should be enough to keep me trim until the end. i am lucky cos i am actually not so tired anymore, i am pretty chirpy now, i will definitely breastfeed, not just for me but for my boy too, thanks again for your kind words, you are truly an inspiration, i am sorry your recovery from the birth was hard, i am not looking forward to the stitchesXX
