souphl - Thursday, 7 Feb Nina - That happens to me as well. I actually fainted during a chemistry lab at school. The doctor said it is pretty normal to feel faintness during the 2nd trimester just due to decrease in blood pressure. So it is normal, nothing to worry about. Next time when you feel that way just sit down and put your heads between your legs for a bit, thats what I do and it seems to help. Good luck.
mumof5kids - Thursday, 7 Feb hi nina..i think that some people just have it, some dont ! i expect your body just uses all the sugar you take on board before you have a chance to replace it...it shouldnt harm your baby, but if you feel faint and your eye sight starts to fail you..you know your about to pass out so make sure you sit with your head between your legs, or better still lay down till it passes...maybe carry a bar of something sweet in you bag or pocket... your doc might be able to help you maybe your lacking in something he can give you pill wise?? i know i have suffered from fainting even when im not preg, i sometimes get up in the morning and maybe get up to quick resulting in me having to lay down again...but keep your chin up it wont last forever...hope this helps..must dash i have a playschool run to do now...back in 15 mins ok...ha ha im a busy mum of 4 remember..well till may then it will be 5 ha ha ha ha
Bubbles-Eleanor-Ruby - Thursday, 7 Feb i would speak to your doctor about it hun, at least then you will get a professional answer, one that (if needed) could lead to some help!! good luck and congratulations on the boy!!

kailsMOM - Thursday, 24 Jan Thanx for getting back to me!! I only got mine done in October so i'm not sure what is going to happen. I really hope not to take it out. What did your friends look like after the baby and was healing? Did it go back to normal? G/L to you, and thanx again!
ImaBamommy - Wednesday, 23 Jan because of shortness of breath, and I read something about a main vain that delivers something to the baby. I will search for the article for you.
saragirl5515 - Wednesday, 23 Jan Dont feel so bad about sleeping on your back!! I know i try and sneak it every once and a while and my husband wakes me up and yells at me!! But they say if youv been on your back for too long, then your body will give you signs.. such as legs or arms falling asleep, or shortness of breath. So as long as your not getting those signs once you wake up from your back.. then most likely there is nothing wrong and no harm to baby!
