Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Thank you for thinking of us! That is thoughtful. I appreciate it bunches!! Wow! Sounds like you are going soon! You know, it's just like we said: The baby can't stay in there forever and it's just a matter of days now! And yes, you better keep me in touch!!! I can't wait! I'll talk to you soon! Evy x

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Yeah, about a couple of hours after baby comes! That sounds about right. I feel for you. I don't miss that pregnancy stuff; it's downright horrible. Deb

evykas - Wednesday, 3 December
I love those names! They are ALL very beautiful names. SO we are both cold-blooded women? LOL.
Believe me, I have already told my doctor that I want an epidural. I never had one with my other two and I am looking forward to it big time! Gosh...I have such heartburn lately. why has it come back?????

evykas - Wednesday, 3 December
Hi there. I am glad that you are moving right along with your baby. What are you calling him/her? Yeah, I agree with your doctor. What's the point? But, now it's said and done. My husband has taken the next two days off and it's happening. I am so nervous. I can't even believe that I am going to have a new baby again. I'm not even fretting over the pain of labor, I am fretting over a tiny, little helpless baby...oh...am I ready? I've checked and double checked the lists....on paper I am ready (smiles) but inside my belly I have goosebumps and butterflies. Thanks for standing with me these last few days. Your words have meant a lot to me. Yeah, Mikko is a cute name, huh? I chose it for my Finnish heritage. His name WAS going to be just Mikko (first) Kane (second) Kas----(third) but then the FIL stepped in and asked to have his name also placed in there. So, now he is Mikko-Kane (first) Maspar (second) Kas----. I like his name. :-) I will let you know when I have the babe as soon as I get back. Probably Friday. OK? thanks again friend, Evy

evykas - Wednesday, 3 December
oh and BIG CONGRATS on that jackpot! My goodness. Lucky girl!

evykas - Wednesday, 3 December
Well, guess what? Last night, I went in with false labor. My doctor happened to be there. He asked me what I had decided about the induction. He asked if I still wanted to do it Thursday. Well, I decided to go for it. I will be induced tomorrow at 6 am. That will be 38.1 weeks. So, that's that. I guess I am tired of fighting now. So, Mikko will be born 12/4/08. Happy almost Birthday Mikko. Wish me luck! :-)

evykas - Tuesday, 2 December
My doctor is pretty cool otherwise. He is likea hippie. He always wears tie-die shirts. His last name is Rocha, and every year, he has a festival (cook out) called Roach Fest. I am wondering, does he smoke pot too? LOL, he said it was due to his name. Sure....LOL
But he is very EASY to talk to. I feel so comfortable around him. The only thing is this induction thing. But he said it's up to me. If it is, I choose to go natural.
Fun? What's fun? I never have fun. Grrrr. LOL

evykas - Tuesday, 2 December
oh yeah, and the scary part for me (the choice I have to make) is if he is nine pounds, WILL the doctor try to do a c/s? I told him yesterday I am WAY against them. The reason I say that is so that he won't be too eager to cut me. If you cut me, it better have been due to a serious emergency, not because you thought I couldn't push him out. I can't believe some people are scheduled with c/s just due to their size. They never even get the option to TRY pushing. Then, on top of that, the baby comes out and it's a small baby. Makes no sense!

evykas - Tuesday, 2 December
Yeah, I've heard that the docs do that for the sake of the money. I don't know what the real case is but it sure does seem to be an epidemic. You know? Wow! Your Evan's story sure is an amazing one. Gosh....so scary. I am so glad that he is alright and better than alright! I don't know what the doctor expects is big but he did say that he thought if I went to my due date (12/17) that he thinks he'd be over nine pounds. I just don't know how they can know that, but whatever...grr...lol
Yeah, with all this progression AND losing my plug, what's the deal? I am waiting for SURE!! You keep my informed now, ya hear? :-)

evykas - Tuesday, 2 December
Hey there, thanks for the reply. I know what you mean about waiting for the baby. I mean, it just seems natural, right? I don't know why these doctors here do it this way. This is a small town. I moved from a city, and in the city, they waited for the baby-not the other way around.
My husband and I decided that we were just not going to call the doctor to schedule for the induction. I will just wait for the next appointment, which is Monday. Besides, last night, I lost my mucus plug. So, right there is more proof that this baby is coming soon anyway. I don't need any help. I mean, so far, I am 2 1/2 cm dilate, 75% effaced, -1 station, lost my mucus plug...doesn't that sound like progress? LoL. After all, I don't even begin 38 weeks until tomorrow! Geez, talk about hurrying things up.
The thing that scares me, honestly, is the doc has been saying that he thinks my baby is going to be big. What happens if he thinks he's 'too big' to have natural, if I wait too long? I told him that I've given birth to two already that were both 8 1/2 pounds each. Surely, that will let him know I am able to birth a bigger baby. I just get scared in this day-and-age where they are trying to c/s every girl out there. That's what scares me most.
Anyway, thanks for replying. Let me know how your appointment on Wednesday goes, k? I will be interested in hearing. :-) Take care, Evy

Deborah Kurczek - Monday, 1 December
P-Parent, what's the update? I haven't been on for a few days-a little tired.

evykas - Monday, 1 December
"Tuesdays and Thursdays huh? :o) Wednesdays conflict with tee-off time? j/k" ---That's hilarious. Right?? I mean for real! I am glad that you said that if things are progressing why do anything about it. I agree with you there. He even said that I was progressing good. So there! :-) Ty so much!

Gbaby3 - Saturday, 29 November
Thanks! It's funny becuz I'd rather watch him with complete exhaustion than sleep.I don't want to miss a thing!

mamabear0608 - Saturday, 29 November
oh my goodness iknow how you feel, i get that same kind of pain in my lower right side of my belly, kinda below my belly. It hurts so bad. We are getting close!!!!! Im so anxious to meet my new baby i cant stand it! I hope everything turns out just the way you want it too!!! :)

Deborah Kurczek - Friday, 28 November
The waiting game is always the most difficult, but you only have two more weeks! Easy for me to say, huh?

It's taken me 38 years of my live to lower my expectations for my father; when I was younger, I always had him on a throne, but I see him clearly now, with all his faults. I'd be very surprised about him popping in for more visits. Trust me, my father is a man of empty promises.
I really do appreciate your advice and words of encouragement though. Thanks! :big grin

Deborah Kurczek - Friday, 28 November
Actually, it went better than I had expected. Thanks for your advice and concern. He didn't stay too long, and he didn't even hold the baby, but took lots of pictures and gave us money, so whatever. My older girl was so shy of him, because she doesn't remember him so much. My husband just said I have to except my father the way he is, and at least he did come up for a visit. How are things for you? You must be so close!

mamabear0608 - Friday, 28 November
thanks!!! Sometimes when i write in there they ignore me. Kinda aggravating. Well my DR never checks me to see if im dilated or anything. And he has never felt my stomach in any way. Its funny how every visit costs us around $300 isnt it?? I am really getting tired of being pregnant! This feeling tired all the time is horrible- i mean its more than just being tired, its like im lethargic??? You too?

caca - Wednesday, 26 November
