dt425 - Monday, 31 Dec Hey, just a reply to your post about the fetal movement...I started feeling movement at about 19 weeks..it wasn't much... but it was enough to notice.. Im now 23 weeks and feel it all the time...still have yet to feel it on the outside.. but Im a big girl...more fluff between me and the baby lol
slnkl - Sunday, 30 Dec i get some kind of discharge too, a yellowish kind. at first i thought it was an infection, so i asked my doctor to do a test. i am not infected, so its probably just a part of pregnancy. let me know what your doc. tells you about your discharge. i was very scared at first too.
JulianneH - Sunday, 30 Dec Hello, I am only 5'3 ande was close to 160 when I became pregnant. I had a big belly already (lots of flab) and it took forever for me to feel my baby. I think I felt good kicks when I was around 24, 25 weeks. now I am 36 weeks and his kicks pack a punch! I was nervous and asked the DR and he said it was because of all the fat I had in my belly before it acts like a cushion and absorbs the shock of all his movement. So rest assure your baby is moving it just might take a while for you to feel it! I hope all goes well for you! xo
Momaem - Saturday, 29 Dec Hi how are you? Congrats! I am about 21 weeks and about 40 pounds over weight and i just started to feel by baby girl moving and kicking around, so dont worry it will happen its different for everyone but i was so worried and now she doesnt stop. Haha good luck
catsa79 - Saturday, 29 Dec hey shellie how are you traveling?? Hows the droppler going?
usagi - Saturday, 29 Dec Glad to hear that you are doing well with no more bleeding! So do you really think the tech was right with her early sighting of little girl parts? Are you going to get an ultrasound at your next appointment? My next ultrasound is January 9 and even though I can feel my little one all the time now I still want a look inside and make sure I don't have any rogue blood clots or other stuff. Since I've been on bed rest, no more bleeding for me. It's been.... 11 days since my last bleed. 13 days is my record, I'm hoping to beat it LOL.
padow - Thursday, 27 Dec I can relate to the worrying and the 'is everything ok' thoughts. Try and relax and understand that unless a dr. really tells you something is wrong or you feel incredibly ill, then everything should be ok. After trying for 2 yrs, I truly understand! Praying everything is ok and that your us goes well. Let me know.
lilfranny - Monday, 24 Dec Well at least I know I am not alone. This is the worst part of my pregnancy thus far, and if it stays that way I am very lucky.
lolabean08 - Sunday, 23 Dec i am in the same boat by the previa mine had moved anteriorly now is completely covering my cervix, i havent had the bloody adventure you did...but just wantd you to know you arent along...and congrats on the girl...i find out on the 2nd am i am dying...lol. i hope yours moves up as i hope mine does!!! Good luck girl.
TashaS - Sunday, 23 Dec Thanks for the comment... I have spoken with my doctor about my fears of not conceiving, due to the irregular cycles and what not. According to the OV Calculator I should be ovulating on boxing day!! I'm hoping for a xmas miracle!! We're going to be taking a trip in April and if I haven't conceived by that time I'm going to look into all the options available to me... Congratulations on your Pregnancy!!
teenMOMMIE - Sunday, 23 Dec its not, cus that was 156. an adult heartbeat isnt 156. ive heard it soo many times in the doctors, and its the exact same. trust me. its not mine
venusenvy - Saturday, 22 Dec Oh good, the doppler can be so much fun. I try to use mine as infrequently as possible b/c I read that it produces quite the unpleasant sound. Plus, I can tell that it is not well-received down below b/c of the amount of activity that results afterwards - the only sensations I'm feeling really. My advice to you is to not get worried if it takes awhile to catch the heartbeat, they tend to swin away. The best luck that I have had is to place it in the center of my abdomen, about 2-3 inches above my pubic bone and eventually you will hear it! The rule of thumb is to not use it for longer than 10 mins I believe. Good luck and keep me posted.
catsa79 - Saturday, 22 Dec hey i think if i got a droppler i would be obsessed with it! have fun
catsa79 - Friday, 21 Dec Hey there, thats no good that you are spotting on and off :-( I haven't had anything like that since I was 9 weeks. check out my photos, I'm on 14 weeks and have popped out, it's scary! lovingmytoddler - Friday, 21 Dec Just read your story and so happy for you. Congrats. My baby girl was born April 13th 2007 and was a preemie. I had endured alot in my pregnancy and had her at 7 months. She was 3 pounds. I pray that you have a safe journey through your pregnancy. It sure is a wonderful moment. Have a great holiday. Keep in touch.
venusenvy - Friday, 21 Dec Hello there, I was just reading of the tremendous scare you two had and it made my heart hurt. I am overjoyed, as I am positive you were, to hear that your baby is kickin' around. Congrats and many blessings to both of you throughout your pregnancy.

padow - Thursday, 20 Dec Let me know how you like the doppler, OK? I know you are excited to get it!! :) Happy for you.
usagi - Thursday, 20 Dec Hey Shellie, wow, your 'time off' from the fertility drugs worked too, huh? Sorry to hear about your scary bleeds! I'm glad that at least they know why the bleeding happened and can keep an eye on your placenta. I hope it moves up for you!!! I'm on bedrest this week too and it's sooo boring, but at least I am at the stage where I can feel my little girl kick; I spend an obscene amount of time laying ont he sofa and just feeling her tap me LOL.
padow - Thursday, 20 Dec How are you doing? Doppler arrive?
utopianite - Wednesday, 19 Dec Are dopplers pretty expensive? I always thought it would be really neat to have one, but I don't want to spend a lot of time worrying about whether or not the baby's alright. I hope you're doing alright. I've had bleeding with two of my other pregnancies, and they turned out just fine, but been lucky enough not to have any problems with this one so far. Good luck to you! :-)
