AnotherQ - Tuesday, 4 November That's really exciting. Are you going to have birthday party for your son? And do you think it’s a girl. You know what they say girls carry high and boys carry low. And girls take away from a mother’s beauty.
jessilyn02184 - Sunday, 2 November yes the kids will be 13 months apart. We were not planning it, i was supposed to be getting an IUD and the doctor told me she couldnt do it because i was pregnant, i about died. I wasnt ready for another one. But we are ecstatic now. This is going to be a boy, and we are definitly done after this one. And as for the belly getting big, i was measuring 20 weeks at 8 weeks, i was huge, still am.. but it will all be worth it. Are you going to find out what you are having? is this going to be your last one?

lisad11784 - Friday, 31 October HAPPY HALLOWEEN! HOPE YOU HAVE A FUN AND SAFE ONE!
starby - Thursday, 30 October Oh no worries about TMI...I had the same situation, never really bothered me until I had to go to the bathroom, it made me dread ever going!
starby - Wednesday, 29 October You know its kind of funny, I had been using some prescription strength stuff that the doc gave me and it wasnt really doing anything so my husband bought some preparation H and seriously, I noticed a difference right away! I dont know if its safe during pregnancy though...I'd ask my doc...However, the "Tucks" witchhazel pads really help and give lots of relief and I'm fairly sure those are safe. I'm sorry you are going through that, I have to say thats definately one thing I'm really not looking forward to next time I get preggers :( I sure hope you find some relief soon!
Anesha - Tuesday, 28 October Also, I am having a natural labor this go round. With my 1st pregnancy my goal was to wait as long as I can but I chickened out and got the epidural at 7cms. Guess what I got for being a coward? My labor completely stopped because of it and I ended up with a c section. I am ok wtih it now as I can't undo time but my new doc says I am a great candidate for a VBAC and if I get the epidural again it will most likely have the same effect as this is how my body reactes to it. So I have decided to go natural. I made it to 7cms and it was not that bad so I am gonna hold out completely to 10cms this time around. I read that you went natural. How would you describe the pain of natural labor? Don't worry about scaring me either. I would rather hear the truth as you experienced it. I have to do it either way to have the VBAC that I desperately want.
Anesha - Tuesday, 28 October Hi! I breastfed my daughter until she was 12 months and the first year was rough. She did not sleep through the night and she wanted to nurse every hour. She used me as a pacifier so whenever she wanted to suck she would cry for me! I must admit it was really hard for me. So hard that now that I am pregnant again I have decided to formula feed. She destroyed it for my 2nd baby. She wanted to suck on me all day and night! Now she is 16 months and THANK GOD is sleeping through the night. She began sleeping through the night IMMEDIATELY after I weaned her. When she turned 11 months the doc gave me the go ahead to introduce her to whole milk. It took her a couple weeks to like it but once she did I would give her whole milk in a 10oz bottle at bedtime and it was enough to fill her little belly up and she was then able to sleep much longer! It is so wonderful right now. Some nights I would put a little cereal in the bottle to make it thicker. I guess breast milk is thinner so they get hungry again really fast. Hang in there. It does get better. I have been there.
hot-mama - Tuesday, 28 October I'm going in like 2 hours to find out what i'm having. i haven't had any naseau or anything with this baby, except once and just got over a kidney stone. i'm excited though, they'll be bestfriends cause they're so close.
catesmommy - Tuesday, 28 October Yep I am so with you...my friend and I were joking that it seems to odd that we are afraid of a needle prick compared to the contractions seems a little odd. But more than the needle prick it's where they put the needle and how just a mm off could cause some damage. I am also against taking pain killers unless I am in a whole lot of pain and have to do something where I can't just go through the pain. I also hope that this delivery goes a lot faster!!! Did you want to do a home birth or in a birthing center? I am trying to figure out what we are going to do and I am interested in having a doula...will have to see how things go.
catesmommy - Monday, 27 October Oh my I can totally relate to your birth story with your son. I also did it naturally with my daughter, but my doctor would not let me sit out pushing contractions even though I really did not want to push...I think that is why I tore and pretty bad...that is one thing I hope to change about this delivery I want to go slow and not tear. I saw your post about going natural the first time and being afraid to do it again...oh I am so scared, but I absolutely refuse to have an epidural and do it as natural as possible- hopefully 100% natural!
