Hi Sue, I had Jack on the 5th Of August 2007 so there is not much between him and Joe.
We found out wednesday we are having a girl which was a Major Major shock, i kept asking the sonographer if she was sure,We haven't kept going for a girl we love our boys but we new this was going to be our last baby so it was a lovely ending to our family.
I'm tired but i have to say touch wood i hardly notice i'm pregnant most days at the moment apart from the big lump out front, i think because i have Jack i'm to busy til the end of the day when i usually collapse and fall asleep on the sofa, Hope you are well x

Sorry to hear about your job..=(...And your right...what's the point in worrieing?...at least you will have more time with Joe and the new bump....I hate the council too...we're on working tax..and they always get it wrong..tell you..head doesn't know what the arse is doing..!!..Mark is trying to keep his options for different jobs open...we don't know if he'll loose his job or not yet either.....his bosses wife dies last week and he's trying to sell up...but if there isn't a buyer..he's just going to give it up and sell the building and not the business..but i'm not going to worrie...don't have the energy..plus he's managed to ask one of his friends who owns his own bussiness if he can have a job with him..if everything goes tits up..so fingers crossed..he'll stick to his word..he is in the packaging business...so not as good money as a stone masion..but money all the same..I can't think of anything for your stay at home mum thing...have you tryed those online job things...?..I remember seeing an advert on telly about stay at home mums and working around your schedual..or was that a red driving instructor advert?.....ummm..If I could do it..i'd do one of those sex line things..haha..seems easy enough..just say.."yeah I can imagine...****"..then do the dinner saying a few..."arhhhs"..and "ohhhhs"..lol.....I don't know if it would be a good thing for the kids to pick up on though...haha..take care..and good luck...keep me posted..and if I think of a viable job...i'll be sure to tell you....just think what your good at..and try to do that....ohhhh...have you thought about doing part time at a nursery?...you could work there and take Joe along too...talk soon..Xxxx

Awww, Hi! I have been consumed with couponing lately! Sounds kind of funny but saving money and getting free things is truly addictive. I have been neglecting this site though :-(. I did check in to read the posts and make sure all was well but I didn't post. How are you feeling??? Are you going to find out if it's a boy or girl? Will you get an amniocentisis (sp?)??

Tilly - Tuesday, 21 October
Hi Sue. Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and hope that you're feeling ok. There was talk at work of me being let go when I was pregnant with Cormac and I spent months stressing about it, for nothing as it turned out because it never happened. (Phew!) Try to stay positive and look after yourself.

Haha..if your midwives were anything like mine..i'll have to be your bf coach..haha..Bless..Joe has graduated...so's Jacob...it's weird..it's just all of a sudden happened..they've grown up overnight.... I took Jacob to a baby an toddler group on Monday...I took my friend Pauline who has a 9 month old called Joel..(he's massive..he weighs about a pound more than Jacob..)..and all he did was ride on the little bike thing outside..then threw a paddy when I had to take it off him..haha...good on Joe for showing that 3yr old....I had my friend round with her 2yr old daughter today...she's a big girl too..and she was pushing Jacob around..towards the end he started to fight back..but he was more shocked than anything..lol..(this is the kid that made me cry and not want kids when I was about 5 months pregnant..because she's such a little cow..lol..seriously..her due date was 06.06.06 and she has the reddest hair and the most evil temper..I swear she's the devil incarnate..!!)..anywho..better get on...talk to you soon...hope you get some rest over the weekend..i won't..I've got an alter ego fancy dress party to go to..I only got told today..and need to figure out a costume by sat..!!..arghhhh..talk soon... take care...Xxx

Those concerns must be normal for any second-time mam. I know that's how I would/will feel. Shosho and Xander are setting a great example tho!

I'm sure you will find the energy that you need when the time comes. I'm amazed at how I can just keep going now that I have to. Although I think my memory has lost out - it's totally shot these days! So I CAN do all the stuff I have to so long as I remember!

That's funny about Joe's smelly feet! I recently got C a pair of moccasins for the house and they're great. He can't take them off, unlike socks which he just WON'T leave on!

irishbaby1 - Thursday, 16 October
Thanks very much. I never knew that. I am going to stock up on them this weekend. Hope all is well with you.

Morgan - Tuesday, 14 October
How tall are you if joe is up to your hip?!! haha
Unfortunately i dont have highlands on my doorstep, im right in aberdeen city! I do love nipping out to the country now and again though. I love the lake district too, i concieved brandon there haha!! my in-laws live in consett near newcastle so when we visit we try to go through to the greenery!
I was the same with my positive tests the 2nd blue line was so faint i wasnt sure if i was imagining it. the next day i was in shopping centre with my sister and i couldnt wait any longer so i went to boots and bought digital tests and went to the centres toilets haha, classy! I used to hate the name brandon, he was going to be called ethan pretty much as soon as we found out we were expecting but my husband liked it and it grew on me.
I had a job interview today - find out tomorrow if i get the job or not! then its off on holiday on thursday, cant wait!! fel free to ramble on to me, as u can see i do it too lol. take care xx

shosho - Tuesday, 14 October
Thank you!! Things are calming down some- it's really just adjusting to the lack of sleep. Xander is doing great with him. He really doesn't appear to be jealous at all- in fact he hardly notices him. This morning he gave him a kiss which was really sweet and he says bubba and baby a lot. It's really cute.

Tilly - Tuesday, 14 October
Ha! Cormac's kind of the same with the walking. He'll take a few steps on his own every now and again (chuffed with himself!), but still prefers to crawl or have us hold his hand(s) for the time being. He's still not really talking - just experementing with lots of different sounds. I think it's going to be so weird when he's able to communicate..! Otherwise he's in good form generally these days and is great fun to be around. How's Joe doing?

Yeah, I can understand your anxiety about the triple test, but it'll soon be out of the way and then, like you say, you can relax and start looking forward to your new arrival (yikes!).

Tilly - Tuesday, 14 October
Just thought I'd check to see if you'd added a pic! That's a really clear image already, isn't it? Excellent. Hope it's all going well.

Morgan - Monday, 13 October
yes thats me, i still havent touched a ciggie, cant stand being round smoke now! Congrats for stopping - good choice haha! Brandon is huge, he is the same height as my niece who is a year older. on his height chart thingy, if he stays on the same line as he is on now he will be 6 ft 4 when he is 20! It took 5 months to conceive brandon after pill, i thought that felt long but 2 years must have been tough! i didnt find out the sex with brandon but i really wanted to, i think i will next time.
My little brothers name is Joe, i chose it! my mum had me and my sis when she was young and then had my brother late so he is an uncle 3 times age 6!!
where in uk are you again?? short term memory!

Ema Uk - Monday, 13 October
Ello..yeah I'll be more than happy to talk about BF with you..I'm quite an old hand at it now..haha..I've tryed pumping...but It never really worked very well...(it was hand pumped which apparently never work very well)..One of the women at the breastfeeding group had trouble getting enough milk because her baby was premature..so the hormone didn't come in strong enough...but she's breastfeeding just fine now...What she did was..Feed 1 side and pump the other to get the milk flowwing through both..and then swap..also..eating fatty food..like full cream and milk and stuff helps the quality of the milk..because that's all the milk really is...you go so skinny when your feeding...It does get easier..infact it's quite enjoyable and fullfilling...I feel quite proud that i've breastfed for this long....and all the benifits are really brilliant for both you and the baby...your less likely to get breast or cervical cancer..the baby's less likely to get diabeties, cancer, asthma, respiortary illness, colds, ear infections..and be obese....win win..also..formula was classed as a drug in America..and those chinese babies that died...well it just makes you think what these companys will do to make a quick buck.....I did get sore nipples...well I got blisters on one..but that's because I latched him on wrong..and I also got a blocked duckt..but a savoy cabbage , a hot shower and alot of massaging got that sorted..lol..it is frustraiting..and tiring..but at the end of the day..it's soooo worth it..right..i've gone on about this for ages...haha..sorry..(you wait..you'll be just the same when you get to that check point..)..speak soon...Hope Joe and bump are doing fine...and that your ms goes soon...Xxxxx

Morgan - Monday, 13 October

Ema Uk - Saturday, 11 October
Ello...the painters and decorators finally arrived..lol..I'm slightly relieved because I want to really go on this holiday..and not worrie about what i'm eating or that I can't have a drink at night or anything...when I get back...then we'll start acctually TTC....I know eventually i'll get my body back..lol...it's still partly on loan to Jacob at the min..haha..ttyl..Xxxxx

Ema Uk - Friday, 10 October
see..that's the one thing that I don't like about living in a small town....the shops we have are really limited...and expensive.=(..we did have asda and tescos trying to build there shops here..but the towns people all protested against it.. ..Also we're in a battle to get a lesiure center built on a bit of unused grass...but there's protests against it because people will have to look at it.. ...some people are so selfish..I've been writting letters for it's support..just so Jacob has somewhere to go when he's older..right..he's waking..might get a test today...i'm excited..(probably shouldn't be..lol)..i'll not get my hopes up just yet...ttyl..Xxxx

Ema Uk - Friday, 10 October
Ello you...yeah still no "show"....I'm gonna wait at least a week before taking a test..(there far too expensive to get wrong..lol)..I wasn't intentionally TTC..We had a bit of a..well ..blow out..so it's not a high chance...but there's a chance..expecially with all these hormones flying around...probably won't be anything...but i'll keep you posted....right..bed time I think..=)..look after yourselves..Xxxx
