Tilly - Tuesday, 12 August
You have some really amazing photos, but I love this one in particular; a good ad for parenthood!

Tilly - Tuesday, 12 August
Hey Sue! Thanks for the message. Yeah, I have green eyes, but my husband has blue eyes and light hair like Cormac. Actually I was meaning to drop you a line. I don't know if you remember but I contacted you ages ago cos I thought our boys looked so alike. And they are so different now, aren't they?? Joe is such a gorgeous little boy. And he looks so happy in all of the photos - his smile is contagious. Hope everything's good with you.

I decided to go for the MAP in the end. The 'mistake' with contraception was due to having had a few glasses of wine and thinking that we'd just risk it because we do want another baby. It's just too soon though. I felt like a naughty teenager asking for it in the chemist though, they have to ask you loads of questions. Worst part is it costs £25 - bit steep for one night of passion!!

terah - Monday, 11 August
Awe... thanks! He's getting so big!

Ema uk - Saturday, 9 August
Hello...poor Joe..bet it shocked him when he banged his head..Jacobs normally alright..he's falling over all the time at the minute...he doesn't hurt himself..I think it's the shock that makes him cry..like sometimes he lands on a cushion..and still screams..lol..Yeah I hate the Jabs too..expecially worse now he's older and knows what's happening.....we're giving Jacob the MMR..I think that people in general will always want to blame something for all the bad things that happen..they can't accept that there kid was born with Autism..so they feel better if they can blame it on something..Autism isn't really recognised in children under a year old..it becomes noticable when there a bit older..and if you heard what the guy did for his "studies" on MMR and Autism..you can see why it got discredited..he basically got all Autistic children and then thought..."well what do all these children have in common"..and because all children(or most) were Vacinated With MMR jab around the time when the first sighns are showing he just said..."well it must be that.."he could have said that peanut butter..or whole cows milk or fish lead to Autism seen as 1 yr olds start these foods at that time too..lol..there's millions of children had the jab and are fine...plus since the statement about autism came out people didn't vacinate there kids..and there have been record cases of Measles, mumps and reubella..there thinking there could be an epidemic if it carries on this way..i'm getting him the jab..and fingers crossed they'll both be alright...I mean..if I had the Jab..and Mark had the Jab..and we didn't react to it..and there's no hereditary factor..then I think it'll be alright..(touch wood)..talk soon...Xxxx

Hey! Tks for your message! We had a nice time at the beach, got home around 9pm, DH made another cake (burnt the top but otherwise ok), and he made real whipped cream for it, got out the candles and a couple stemmed glasses for us, ready to set up the tripod for pics of us, etc, so I go and change her poopy diaper at 10.30pm, and... she falls off the bed, hits her head on the chair, a (what seems like) HUGE bump develops, so we take her to emergency in a taxi, because all the ambulances are out on calls and can't come for an hour! Doc sees her within 15 mins though, says it looks okay but take an x-ray just in case. DH goes and holds her down for it, but it's fine. They send us home with instructions to keep an eye on her. Meanwhile she's in good spirits, seemingly forgot about it. So we had our celebration last night instead :)

samzie - Thursday, 7 August
hi yes baby is growing fast hes 18lb now xx

Allison - Wednesday, 6 August
Thanks for the b-day wishes, Sweetie! LOL- beating them off with a stick. I guess I am going to have to be "mean Mommy" when he's a teenager and the girls start coming around ha ha! Donovan had his first year doc's appt. and had 3 vaccinations- I hate those!!! He weighs 23 pounds and is 31 inches long...everything looks good. Hope you're well...

BellyDancer - Monday, 4 August
no, ha ha, I didn't mean for you to leave him alone like your smothering him, lol. Sometimes when a baby has a lot of 'background noise' in his enviroment; t.v. radio, video games, it over stimulates him. Children tend to bang heads on floor that sort of thing. Not at all what joe has going on, he sounds more like he's very tactile and likes to 'feel' his environment through other objects. maybe his mind thinks he'll process a new feel of grass if he feels the grass through the stick! It's very smart, but, just in case it's a sensory processing issue, document! No need to leave him alone, but if there are any aggressive touches like banging or hitting going on, calm his surroundings; kill the t.v. :big grin
Hope that's more clear and helps,
Alisha

Ema uk - Monday, 4 August
yeah..he does sound like the teleytubby sun baby..haha..cool..tigger thingy..bet he'll love it...Jacob can't say mummy either..he can say doggie dada and Ema..haha..sometimes I get a emamuma..it's because Mark still calls me Ema infront of him..and I always call Mark Dada infront of him..I keep telling Mark to call me Muma..but He forgets too..... My sister and brother have gone halves on a push car that changes into a ride on..it's like the stride to ride lion..but it's a big red car...he loves cars at the moment everything is...Brooooommmmm...brooooommmmm...everything...haha..The other day he had the remote control and was "brooming" it round the room..lol..right better get on...chat with ya soon...(oh lots more pics of Joe..need to get my cutie fix..lol)..Cya..Xxx

Ema uk - Monday, 4 August

Ema uk - Monday, 4 August
I know...next week....this time last year we were uncomfortable and huge..lol..and now there going to be 1yr..how mad is that...I have been getting the baby "itch" recently..haha..I keep reminding myself of the "plan" though..haha..when Jacobs 15months..that's when we try again..so what you got him?!?..and what are you going to do for his b-day?...I think my sis is coming down and we're going to rand farm...then the next week Marks mum is putting on a BBQ (weather permitting) and his sisters coming down..so 2 b-days for him.I have no idea what i'm going to do with all his presents..there's no room at all in the house..haha..better go...trying to upload a damned video on here...i'll figure it out eventually..lol..talk soon..hugs to Joe..Xxx

terah - Saturday, 2 August
I cannot believe how much hair he has! You take GREAT pics! I love these. How did you do the black and white ones? Do you do that on your camera?

terah - Saturday, 2 August
I know!!! They DO look like little boys now. They are really starting to lose that baby look. :-( BUT, I think Eli is cutier than ever right now. I'm gonna check out your photos to see if you have any recent ones.

heather2 - Saturday, 2 August
Thanks! It was really hot and a lot of work, but fun. But I think the next time around I will just plan cake and ice cream. Whew!

Ema uk - Friday, 1 August
Hello....think your good luck helped..everything was fine at the hospital...they were showing him charts and he had to point to things and they tryed to put a patch over his eye..so they could check each eye seperatly..and he would not cooperate...haha..he pulled it off and then wouldn't let the doctor near his face...she tryed to put her hand in front of his eye instead..but he just kept looking round it..haha..they've sighned him all off the books now..so that's brilliant...I put a pic up of a bear that I've made Jacob for when he's a bit older..And they deleted it off the photo page ..I don't know why..I said it was for his first b-day but he couldn't have it till he's a bit older...and they just deleted it...i'll try put it on my page...and if it doesn't work..i'll just have to sit it in his lap and take a quick pic befor he rips it to pieces..lol...
oh I heard this one today...might use it if I have alot of kids..

A man boarded a plane with 6 kids. After they got settled in their
seats a woman sitting across the aisle from him leaned over to him
and asked, "Are all of those kids yours?"

He replied, "No. I work for a condom company. These are customer
complaints.

haha..talk soon...Xxx

samzie - Friday, 1 August

Ema uk - Wednesday, 30 July
haha..well no..not unlike any other there age..if Jacobs anything to go by..lol..exploring everything...and I mean everything...were going tomoro for his hospital eye appointment thing..just to make sure they didn't miss anything...but there going to have to put them damned dropps in his eyes again....I hate waiting around in hospitals too...and now Jacob wants to be in everything..he's going to be screaming to be put on the floor..and crawl into the medical waste and stuff..lol..I really don't want him to touch anything in a hospital..you hear about all the super bugs..Mrsa and all that..so I don't want him crawling around licking the floor...haha..right gotta go eat something..(leaving it a bit late today...oh yeah I entered Jacob in a terrific tot contest..he gets pictures done on the 13th aug..1 day before his b-day..so thinking probably have to buy a couple..haha..talk soon..Xxxx

Ema uk - Tuesday, 29 July

just popped on to see if anyone posted owt..and now to check your photos..before BB is on too..haha..there's literally nothing on telly..and it's kinda addictive. you can't help watch it when it's on everyday..lol..i'm a closet BB watcher though..lol..right i'll look at your pics then log off myself..ttyl..Xxx

Ema uk - Tuesday, 29 July
haha snapped candles...a really weird image popped into my mind about candle legged boys..lol..yeah we got really lucky with the weather..but Mark is so usless sometimes..I stupidly let him pack his nappy bag while I took the dog for a walk..because he's always saying that I never trust him to do things like that..and he just reinforced my point by packing..or not packing more to the point..lol..he didn't pack his sun screen..or his sun hat or any clothes..or nappies..(luckly there was one stuffed right at the bottom..) he forgot his food and anything to help with his teeth..luckly I had already packed a little bag just incase with his food and teething powder and a couple toys to keep him busy..also some spare clothes for when he made a mess of himself..but no sunscreen..we ended up making a makeshift sling out of a sheet and stripping him completely..and had to put an adult hat on him when we were in the sun..lol..he had the cheek to say..."see I knew you didn't trust me" when I brought out the little bag from the car..I really really had to bite my tounge..I huffed alot and called him an Idiot..but that's mild for me..haha..talk to ya soon..keep me updated on joes crawling/walking and lots of pics..they were great..ttyl..Xxx

Ema uk - Saturday, 26 July
hiya..thanks for your pic comment...and I've been told that after 6 months..you don't need to sterilise any more..I do sometimes give him water straight from the tap..but Mostly I give him filtered water..I bought a filter for us to stop the kettle getting all lime scalely..and I use that for Jacob too...When I do give him it out of the tap..I run the water for about 30 seconds to make sure he's getting the fresh water and not the stale water that's been sitting in the pipes..and he's just fine with it..hope this helps...right..got Marks family gathering..they haven't seen Jacob yet because they live in Africa...so that'll be good...lots of pics..lol..talk soon..Xxx
