not nurotic..just a mum..haha..i'm exactly the same..have you seen some of the new pix i've added..I think they turned out pretty well...Oh...Jacob's still not walking but he's crusing round the funiture..getting into everything...my sis is getting him a push along walking thing for his b-day..I think it's the stride to ride lion..lol..so we'll see how many times he falls off it..lol..how's Joe...brilliant on the crawling front...bet you can't look away for a second without him being somewhere he shouldn't haha..right gotta go..take care..Xxxx

Yes, they are Rainforest. They were our gift from the hostesses at our baby shower. We also had the Rainforest swing, bouncy seat, playpen, and jumperoo. I do love the highchairs, but they do take up a lot of room, especially because we have 2!=) The seat cushion is vinyl, so the icing easily wiped off, and I was able to put the head rest and safety belts in the washing machine - thank goodness!

Sue you vent ALL you want! No need for an apolgy, you're RIGHT! It is 10X scarier having children, now you have to sheild and protect 24/7. And NO! it never ceases! America is in NO better shape as I'm sure you must know.
That being said, if I couldn't have all my children to love & cuddle, to teach and guide to NOT be those kinds of people, the world would get completely taken over by the 'less desireable' type!! The more love I give to mine, the better people they will be.
Okay, a little mary poppins maybe, but, just maybe it changes the world by having one family in one neighborhood where a stable, loving, hard working adult lives. Making said neighborhood a better place to live, and THAT little corner of the world is changed.
And I've just contributed 6 such families to live in this world. Hopefully, adding a little balance to the scale.
I do work from home, I'm one of the many nameless, faceless, "researchers' of the world.

THAT'S ME!
I speacialize in human/child developement form birth to the grave. For example; researching the effects of the medicated/unmed. birth and the effects of breastfeeding, mother baby bond, overall health of baby. The effects of red dye in your childs juice and coralation to childs behavior. Behavior of working moms day care babies behavior patterns vs. stay at home moms babies behavior patterns. ( agression, sickness, tooth developement).
TV watching/ video game playing behavioral effects. etc, etc, etc.
I love it, I obviously have some advantages in choices I make with my children as well
I already know how it effected others children thus I can avoid some mistakes along the way, but, I still make plenty like we all do!
NO! I don't live in the boonies, I grew up in Seattle, a city girl, now in the midwest. I live just outside city limits so I can have horses, chickens, 2 bunnies, a dog, 3 kitties, the goat died.
And when I need a roll, it takes me 5 min. to get to a grocery store, 15 to the really good one, 7 minutes to the gym, 15 to a mall, so I got it pretty good! And my children have been in private instruction for their academic careers, so the scool local is irrelavant. God has been VERY gracious to me, 'cuase I sure never knew ANYTHING about 'country' living!! OH MAN, I STILL LAUGH that I actually OWN CHICKENS!!

And I meant what I said about you, I don't blow sunshine. You just seem like a devoted, great mom. So I guess the question to ask is, would you look back at your life and regret HAVING had another baby?? Would you look back at your life and regret NOT having another baby?? Who will be with Joe when he's older and mom & dad pass on??

hello...Poor Joe..jacob's still having trouble with his teeth..I'm hoping that there all going to be finished by 1 an a half..haha..yeah this cake should be interesting..haven't baked before..haha..but my mums baked loads of cakes..so i'm sure she'll have a few pointers..lol..I'm trying to organise to o to rands farm for Jacobs birthday cause he loves animals...lol...ohhh..he's awoken..better go...chat with you soon...oh and your sooooo lucky to have a garden(even if it's wild..lol)..wish I had one...Xxxx

If you want to 'cheat' with the icing you can buy ready made chocolate fudge icing in tesco - it's pretty good for filling the middle. I'm not sure how I'm going to decorate it. I might just leave it plain and ice 'Happy Birthday' on the top, or I thought about cutting it up and making a train or a tractor or something. I'm going to look online for some inspiration.

Hi Sue, holiday was great thanks, although Jamie refused to sleep in his cot and would only sleep with his arms wrapped tightly round my head. Even daddy wouldn't do. As you can imagine, I got very little sleep so I'm glad we're home for a rest now!

The cake recipe was from bbc good food and can be found here: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4577/wedding-cake--rich-dark-chocolate-cake. Or if that doesn't work type 'bbc good food chocolate wedding cake' into google and it'll be the top link that comes up. The recipe is for a 12 " square tin so makes a MASSIVE cake. Whatever tin you use, to be on the safe side just fill it up to a third of the way up the tin. I'm going to make a big 12" one for Jamie's birthday. Can't wait!

Awww..poor bird..I had two cats when I was living at my mums..and they always used to bring back..other cats catches..(they couldn't catch birds because they were mousers) but it's horrible..specially this time of year when all the fledglings are starting to fly..and emotional too..sure your not pregnant again?..lol..my friend had to put her dog down yesterday..she has a 8 month old..(the baby in my pics) and this dog just attacked her(the mum)..and then when her fiance tryed to get the dog off her..it turned on him..and attacked him and bit all his arm up..blood everywhere..and wouldn't let go...then it just snapped again and was fine...I think it had a mental problem or something..the vet said that it was in its breed..and alot of Jackrussel type dogs do just snap and attack people..she messaged me and was saying that she didn't want to put it down..and I said.."are you mad..what if it attacks and kills your baby..."...her baby has just started crawling so it'll be going right up to it..oh and my dog went to the vets yesterday too because he's pulled a muscle and it cost me £41.55 for an injection and some tablets...and I now have to give him physio...oh well....it's good to hear Joe's doing well..and Thankfully Jacobs..o.k now too..(touch wood)..Marks sister came down from London today and brought Jacobs cousines to see him..and one had that slapped cheek syndrom thing..(think it's called 5ths disease..or human parvo)..she said he wasn't contageouse..and I'm hoping she's right..it looked terrible..lol..talk soon..better go...Xxxx

Thanks Sue, don't be overly impressed It's just an old farmhouse we have spent the last 8 yr.'s working on because of our love for all the space.
We have about 3 acres we mow, a couple small horses, chickies, bunnies, kitties, a dog. A camp ground area we sectioned off for bon-fires & camp outs without having to go to far, we love it.
It's so amazing to me because I grew up in Seattle and was a latte chugging city chic workin in a high rise, LOL!!! Now I have a house full of children & chickens!!! My friends at home couldn't get over it for years!! But, I chose this, I love it. I never would have thought I would have this for my life, but God is so much smarter than we are! I never even wanted children, just financial 'success'. Who knew true happiness lied in the arms of chubby little people who wrap their fingers in your hair, pick you flowers, color you priceless works of art, ask your opinion about life choices, I am amazed so much by all of them and some times, a little overwhelmed too! But, it'g great, now if I only had a maid!!!!

Now, for what it's worth, you're not "old" by any means. Do you know how many people 40 something are just getting married?? Let alone having babies?? I study all this non-sense for a living mind you, and women from 16-45 are "of child bearing age". Hey, in the 'old days' they had babies during all those ages and no one batted an eye, it's only in the last 50yr.'s we put a new improved time frame on our selves and guess what?? It isn't working and people are going back to choosing ALL their options when it comes to having babies. Relax mamma, give little Joe a baby brother or sissy

haha..Jacob really loves pink things..and he always picks up pink dollys and that upsy dasie thing..haha..but Everybody thinks he's a girl when he's dressed all in blue with "I'M A BOY!!" written all over him..so a doll would seal the deal..haha..Mark doesn't want me to buy him a dolly either..haha..I think i'm having a BBQ at Marks mums..(we don't have a garden so need somewhere outside..) plus his fam are coming down/or up can't remember.. from London and my sis is coming from Middlesbrough and they have a big garden..so I don't have to really do anything...His mum will do salad and fingerfoods..and tidy away after..and his dad will do BBQ an washing up...lol..I'm going to attempt to make a cake..(wish me luck..lol)..it's going to be a Makka Pakka one..just of his face...when I make it i'll take a pic..let you know how it tastes..and if we all get salmonella..haha..I think my mum's going to get him one of those push things..like a walker..but they don't sit in them..he's really trying to walk..but he just keeps falling on everything..lol..Is Joe crawling yet?..or just straight from bum to feet?..take care..speak soon..Xxx

HI SUE! Yup, my pix are all taken at home that are posted.It's great but the storms we've had this past week are kickin my bumm!! LOL!!
We've had funerals and all kinds of , UGH!! So Simon has been a little cranky the past couple of days just wanting to be in my arms. My back is killing me! LOL!! How are you?? How's little Joe??

fingers crossed..(and everything else..haha)..sorry for the late reply..busy busy..lol..So how's Joe?..that tooth finally broke thru then..Jacob was good with the top two breaking thru..(so I think they do get a bit more used to it)..but his molar came thru yesterday..and he's been having a real hard time with it..(more so than the front ones)..I think it's because it has a bigger surface area..so more sore gum per tooth..lol..poor little monkeys..just have to remember that it's not going to be Joe or Jacob that remember the pain..it'll be us..haha..I just went to look for Birthday prezzies for Jacob..(I though that i'd start now and then get one each week till the day..)but I went a bit overboard and just spent £40 in one shop..lol..I did get him a fisherprice zoo thing with loads of animals and each little place where they sit makes a noise..I had to get it because it was in the sale down from £35 to £19.99..I also got him an Iggle piggle doll thing that makes sounds..(he loves That program..only thing to give me 5 mins peace..lol)..and a little dumper truck thing..I also got him a giggily pig thing the other week..he loves pink things..so I thought a pig isn't as bad as a pink dolly..haha..talk soon..hope your all alright..Xxxx

nah..he caught a Virus off one of my friends babies..(you know the one with the kid that's snotty all the time and is always giving Jacob colds..well it was her brothers babie that gave him it..) I don't think i'll be going round there much anymore..lol..He's alot better today..he's still got a rash and a runny tum..but his temp has settled..(touch wood)..how's Joe?...those teeth made an apperance yet?..better get on..love to the fam..TTYL..Xxx

thankyou..I failed the first time I took it..(by 1 point..I got 50/50 for the questions..it was just the bloody hazard perception..i needed 44 and I got 43) this time i got 50/50 for questions again and 55/73 for the perception so I passed with quite a high rate..woo hoo...lol..I saw a citroen picasso a 2001 model..was cheap because of a slight damage to the right hand side the wingmirror was broken off and the window broke and a few dents..i'm thinking it shouldn't be too expencive to fix up(I always like a challenge..but I really should be thinking about buying a car that doesn't need anything doing to it..lol)..mini buss idea isn't a bad one..lol..Mark wants more kiddies so i'm going to need lots of room..I said to him.."why don't we just skip this and just buy a bus..haha"..Yeah the weight thing could be down to the pill..I can't have the pill because i'm allergic to it and i'm forgetfull so i'll end up forgetting it..but I did have the implanon and the injections and they were horrible..I can't deal with hormones..and they put me in a foul mood 24/7 365 days of the year..I tryed the coil after Jacob was born but it also put me in a mood gave me spots and cramps and made me bleed alot..so I took that out too..i'm now on good old fashioned jonnies..lol..a lot less mess for a start..haha..I also quit smoking when I found out about being pregnant and I haven't smoked since..right I gotta go..Jacob's been real poorly..he's going to wake soon..he's had a temparature of 102/103 and a rash and he's been really off sorts..It's horrible..I've been awake since 3 thismorning with him and I didn't get to sleep till midnight..so i've had ummm..3 hours..or so..right..talk to ya soon..love to everybody for me..specially Joe..Xxxx
