Hi everyone!! My name is Abby I am 28 years old and my husband is Steve, we have been together for nearly 11 years and married for 6 of them, and we now have two little boys named Mitchell he is 2 years old, and Spencer he is 4 months old.We also have a 3 year old chi/pom named Lola.
I used to go on Iampregnant.com when I was pregnant with my first but just never really bothered to post anything, and have been looking at this site now for a while and decided it was about time to make a vip page and talk to others.
My Labour with Mitchell
I had a pretty uneventful pregnancy everything went well, I had Mitchell 10 days early after a 68 hour labour including 4 hours of pushing he was finally born at 6.50pm Aug 14th 2007 weighing 7lbs 11oz and 20 inches long, he wasn't breathing when he was born because he was in shock coz I was pushing for so long, they didn't realize that he was turned sideways untill 2 and a half hours of pushing so it wasn't doing anything,and then they were gunna do a c-section but they were already 2 people lined up for one, so out came the vacum!! they tried like 4 times of pulling and turning and it seem like it was going to go on forever,then an hour and a half later his heartbeat stopped and they got him out like 30 seconds later thank god! he was taken away and about 30 mins later brought back in, he started breathing but didn't cry so they took him away to sort that out my husband went with them while my mom stayed with me, he said that they were flicking his feet to shock him into crying, then he was ok and I got to hold him, it was pretty scary, also while all this was going on I started hemroging because my uterus was not contracting so they had to manually contract it which was like them punching me in the stomach it worked and then they had to stitch me up I had a second degree tear, all I can say is thank god for epidurals!!!!!!! although it did wear off they had to give me more!! Mitchell is doing great now.
15/09/08- 5 weeks 5 days
So here I go again starting the pregnancy journy, I am so excited to be pregnant again, I loved being pregnant the last time, and look forward to going through it all over again. I went to the dr's on Tuesday last week, they took urine and blood to start everything going, my first appointment will be sept 29th.
30/09/08- 7 weeks 6 days
I went to my first appointment yesterday, it went ok just the usual blood pressure, weight and will be seeing him again in 4 weeks, I will be 12 weeks by then and then we will get to arrange an ultrasound!!! my first ultrasound!! I can't wait for that!!!
06/10/08- 8 weeks 5 days
Nearly 9 weeks now, I have been feeling sick and really tierd!! I can't wait till the 2nd trimester, it will be here soon enough, It's hard being pregnant with a 13 month old getting into everything!!! at least he goes to bed early at 7pm so I get to relax or go to bed early myself, my next appointment will be nov 3rd so I will report more then.
24/10/08- 11 weeks 2 days
Well nearly finished the first trimester!! my tierdness is starting to go away now, which is good as with Mitchell it didn't go untill like 14 weeks so I am grateful for that!! my sickness is not too bad at the moment either but that is probably because my Dr gave me a prescription for some meds to help, so I am just starting to feel good, now I just can't wait to get my bump!!!! Dr's Nov 3rd hopefully will get to book an ultrasound I can't wait to see my baby!!!
03/11/08- 12 weeks 5 days
Had my dr appointment today, he could feel my uterus coming out of the pelvis now, he was gunna listen to the heartbeat but he has one of those old fashioned thingys and said that the uterus had to be higher to hear anything, so I have an ultrasound set up for Thursday 6 Nov!!! he said I should be able to see the heartbeat!! I can't wait!!!
06/11/08- 13 weeks 1 day
I had my ultrasound today and saw my sweet little baby!!! The baby is measuring just right, he/she is 6.74cm long and the heartrate was 154bpm, he/she wasn't moving around that much just a little wiggle!!! my son was the same he never moved around that much, he does now though!!!
12/11/09- 14 weeks
My tierdness and nausea is defenatly going now yeah!!! and I am starting to show, it has just suddenly come out!!! much sooner then with my first, I can't wait till I start feeling those little kicks, I swear I have felt it before but its too early, my sister is 41 weeks and 4 days pregnant and is getting induced tommorow so I am looking forward to having another neice or a nephew!!!!
26/11/09- 16 weeks
Wow 16 weeks already!!! I am starting to feel really good now, love the 2nd trimester!! and I think I felt baby move last night in bed!!! My sister had her baby a girl 10lbs!!! so now I have 2 neices, so I quess I will get another ultrasound soon, I'm not going to find out the sex I want another surprise!!!
23/12/09- 19 weeks 6 days
I went for my ultrasound today and its a....... surprise!! lol!! I am still not going to find out, before she started doing the ultrasound we told her we didn't wanna know. So baby is 11oz, heartrate was 144bpm and was soooo cute, he/she kept opening mouth and kicking on my bladder!!! the ultrasound tech said that everything looked great!! so we are very happy.
08/01/09- 22 weeks
So last night I was laid down on the couch watching tv and felt baby move from the outside and could even see it!!! I was so happy and surprised coz I didn't feel this early with Mitchell!! this baby is so much more active than he was. Belly is growing nicely.
18/02/09- 28 weeks
Wow time has gone fast, I haven't updated for 6 weeks!!! well pregnanscy is going well, in the third trimester now yeah!!
Had my daibetes test done a couple weeks ago, haven't had the resultsfor that yet, I have gained 10lbs so far which is really good considering I started off heavier. Baby is moving arund nicely and I am enjoying every minute of it coz I know when baby is born I will miss it!! Have to go to the dr's every 2 weeks now!!!
19/03/09- 32 weeks 1 day
So im nearly there!!! and starting to get really nervous about labor and delivery, I had such a long labor with Mitchell and a hard time after. I think second pregnancies are worse as you know what happens. But everyone keeps telling me that second deliveries are easier and it wont be that long again, and also my Dr told me that he will take precations for hemmrogoing, as I hemmoreged with Mitchell so I will try not to worry about it.
02/04/09- 34 weeks 1 day
I can officially say that I am due next month now!!!yeah nearly there. My stomach is already bigger at 34 weeks then it was with Mitchell full term!!! but they do say 2nd pregnnacies are bigger. So 6 more weeks to go, or maybe less, Mitchell came at 38 weeks so we will have to wait and see what this baby does. I'm still thinking its a boy but everyone else thinks a girl, can't wait to find out!!!
08/04/09- 35 weeks
I have started to get things orginized now, I have writen lists of stuff to bring to the hospital and will try and get all packed on the weekend, my last pregnnacy I wasn't fully packed!! well I didn't expect to go into labor at 38 weeks!! so I will be ready this time just in case, and also I have to pack bags for Mitchell coz he is staying with my mom and dad for a couple days!! so much to do!!
22/04/09- 37 weeks
Its coming round fast, I am getting so nervous about the labor, and I am still not all packed, will finish doing that tonight!! I have an ultrasound booked for next thursday just to check the babies size, and then the waiting game begins, It's so hard not knowing when or how, I just want it all to be over with now, but then again I don't, will I go early like I did with Mitchell or not???
28/04/09- 37 weeks 6 days
So i don't know if this is a sign or not that labor is soon but I have been cleaning like crazy!! I have so much energy it started yesterday when I woke up, I have just had this overwhelming urge to clean everything!! I went to the dr's yesterday and he said at my next appointment he is going to do an internal ouch!! I will see if anything is happening, he also said that the baby's head is not engaged which doesn't really mean anything because he also said that you can go into labor with out it being engaged at all and it will engage when you are in labor, so just waiting and waiting....
30/04/09- 38 weeks 1 day
Had my last ultrasound today, baby was so cute playing with his/her foot, the ultrasound tech said she could see hair on baby too!! the estimate weight was 8lbs 2oz, and she said if I go another 2 weeks another pound could be added to that!! so hopefully sooner then later, today is the day that I went into labor with Mitchell, I had some period cramping last night but it went away, braxton hicks contractions are coming more often, hopefully something will happen soon!!
05/05/09- 38 weeks 6 days - 3:10am
Ok so I had an internal today at my Dr appointment and was 1cm dialted and he said the head was right down so I could go anytime, so I have been home all day looking after my son as usual, DH and I decided to BD not really to try and induce labor but I was curious to see if it would do anything lol, so I woke up at about 1.30am feeling a small trickle twice and it just felt really weird so I went to the bathroom wiped and looked in the toilet and there was my mucous plug eww lol, so went back to bed and about 2:00am started having mild contractions, they are uncomfortable but aren't really consistant and are not that painful yet, so I am now having a cuppa tea on computer and they are starting to get stronger so hopefully I am going into labour!!! I will report more when I can.

As you all know...I have been trying to concieve for over a year now!!! Well...my AF is 3 days late and today the cramps have stopped (was cramping for the past 2 days)...I was just wanting to see if any one who is currently pregnant or has been pregnant could tell me their symptoms before they tested!!!
Mine are: Swollen breast, missed AF, and dull back aches...and I did have slight cramping but not today!!!...also constipation and gas(sorry if TMi)
I would appreciate all the help....Thank you all!!!

Thank you so much for your comment for my blog i wrote yesterday. I'm staying calm and leaving this whole situation in god's hands.. I will def keep everybody updated with the results of the test. 12/9 @ 1:30pm... (i hope i get an ultrasound to see him/her!!)

We haven't talked in WAY too long. We talked more than this when we were TTC. I do check your page every week for your weekly updates. I am glad to hear you are feeling better. And congrats on your niece! I thought I felt the baby move last night and today as well. I think that since this is baby #2 I know just what it feels like. I told my DH I felt the baby and he didn't believe me lol. As if he knows what it feels like.
