Aurora's Heart Beat ;o) The best sound in the world.

My name is Tara and I am 25 years old, I am happily married to the love of my life and on Jan 31st 2008 we had our first baby (the full birth story is in my blogs). Our daughters name is Aurora and I am so lucky to be her Mommy ;o)

I have been a member of this site since I was 10 weeks pregnant with Aurora but have started a new profile. My Husband and I were expecting a second baby this spring but saddly we ended up loosing the pregnancy and so I wanted a new page for a fresh start.

Aurora is currently 7 months old and changes so much each and every day. You always hear people say "they grow so fast" but you never truly understand it until you become a parent yourself. I once heard a quote that said "having a baby is like giving your heart legs" and I truly believe that the love you have for your child is like no other I have ever known.

I look forward to each new day with her and once I have healed from this loss I will also be excited to TTC and start the pregnancy journey all over again ;o)

Update : On Nov. 16th one cycle after our loss my Husband and I found out we were expecting again. Our due date is July 25th 2009 and we could not be any happier.

Update: On July 4th 2009 I was induced. On July 5th 2009 at 3:33am Logan came into the world. He had a rough start and spent just under 2 weeks in the NICU. He was very sick and his health at times was very touch and go. We were at one point given a 40% chance of ever taking our beautiful baby home. How ever he fought hard and made it home a perfectly healthy and happy baby ;o) Having a baby in the NICU is the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life, I can not put into words what that experience was like. Logan is now 4 months old and not a day goes by that I do not think about how lucky I am to have him in my life, he is the strongest, bravest person I know. Aurora was 17 months old when Logan was born and she adjusted so well to the roll of being a big sister. She is very hands on and loves being around Logan, I am such a lucky Mommy. There has been no greater accomplishment in my life then becomming a Mother.

It is almost noon in Ohio right now and Hudson is going in for exploratory surgery at 3 today. They have done scans and u/s and everything else of his head so now they want to go in and see what they can find. They are going to take a sample and they are hoping that the tumor is a craniopharyngioma which is a benign tumor that develops near the pituitary gland. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers!

BBCD09 - Tuesday, 9 December
Well ladies I guess its time I got around to updating.. I have my first prenatal appointment January 5th! I cant believe its so far away. Kinda ticks me off a little bit, as I got in with my son between 7-8 weeks, but what can ya do? If my due date based on LMP is correct, I will be between 13-14 weeks If Im doing my math right, by the time I get to go to the doc. On the plus side, the ultrasound should show a bouncing baby, which I am excited for! I have been extremely nauseous this pregnancy and threw up for the first time last night. Yuk! I hate throwing up as it never fails that the vessels in my face always pop so now my face is covered in little red dots. Thank god for makeup I guess. Blake is doing great! He is about a week shy of turning 9 months old. I cant believe it! He has been crawling like a pro for awhile now, started pulling himself to standing around 7.5 months old, he cruises a little around the furniture, walks when you hold his hands, says baba bubu and dada. He laughs when I try to get him to say mama though. The most recent thing hes done is as of yesterday he tarted waving bye bye. Its sooo cute. He waves bye to the cats, my hubby when he leaves for work, he waves at himself in the mirror.. anyting he can think to wave to he does it! Hes getting to be a handful, but I still love every minute of it! Well hope everyone is doing good. I will give more updates as they come!

Hey ladies! Just wanted to give you an apdate...I went for my first ultrasound today!! Everything was awesome! Baby looked really good and the heartbeat was very loud and strong! It was so awesome to hear my own child's heart beating for the first time....nothing else in the world could compare!! The heartbeat was at 132 beats per minute. I posted a pic of the ultrasound on my page.
