Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

hi i just read your post on the monsters in the bedroom issue, my son would suddenly scream and cry hysterically ,we`d run up ther eand he would say there were spiders crawling over him andin his bed and room, we had to check they were out of his room and show him his bed was clear etc, i think all you can do is reassure him he is safe, once he had a cuddle nad room was checkd he would be better, good luck and maybe he wants more cuddles from mummy, i know i have to make sure i share cuddles with all my children .

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

That's good that you have a place to go. Whatever you decide to do, BE SAFE!!!

LeahG - Wednesday, 10 September
Yep, it looks like it's heading this way. I was just watching the news & it shifted again towards our direction. My mom lives in Clute & will be heading to my house shortly. I live in Alvin, so we're under a voluntary evac right now. If it continues this path, we will probably leave tomorrow to my friends house in San Antonio. I hope your brother & family make it to your house okay. Will you be leaving or do you think you'll be okay since you live in the north side of town?

Yes it is hot, but as much as I love the rain, it hate how it gets all muggy afterwards. I love storms though, so I hope we get some good rain!!

We're not really worried about it yet. The news is still saying it's going to hit LA. I guess we'll see tomorrow if it shifts. How about you guys? Are ya'll planning to leave?

thank you so much for responding and the congrats!

the funny thing is we knew each other (or OF each other ) for years. i was friends with her sister-in-law and we worked together at one point. but we didnt start really hanging out till after i had gotten married and moved to MD. then she happened to move there too and since then we were like Laverne and Shirley practically! she had a boyfriend and i had my husband but usually we just went out without them. she is a real drama queen and always has some sorta meltdown in the works. and my husband and i are always the ones picking up her shattered pieces. but it works cause i am level headed and she isnt so it fit. she freaks i fix. but now i am excited to eventually be able to go out and have some fun with her and get my tattoos and whatnot. but that is EVENTUALLY. not the next day. it is like she is encouraging me to be a deadbeat mom! she also seems to blame my husband for taking me away (mind you he was there first and was her bestfriend) by getting me pregnant. she sees it as shackling me to a normal homelife. which isnt true since he is with me because he likes that i am not the housewife type. he wants me to go out still and have fun with my friends. it just isnt physically possible right now! i think i am just going to have to dodge her till i can actually spend a few hours at a time with her. otherwise she wont be satisfied and will throw a fit!!! i just wish she would see all she is doing is adding more stress than i need right now!

LeahG - Friday, 22 August
It's a great name. We will definitely have to hook up sometime!

LeahG - Friday, 22 August
Also, if I was going to have a girl, we were going to name her Reagan! I love that name. Great choice!!!

LeahG - Friday, 22 August
CRAZY!!! My hubby's sister lives off of 290 & Huffmiester. We just ate at the Chuy's off 290 & 1960 just a few week ago. It was pretty good. What a small world!!

akheart - Tuesday, 19 August
My 6 yr old gets nose bleeds all the time. She has had her noses cauterized about 4 or 5 times now and they still keep coming. She is getting her tonsils out soon so I heard there is a procedure they might be able to do at the same time to help. Otherwise, eventually she should out grow them. You can also put a little vaseline in her nostrils at night to help.

armywife63 - Tuesday, 19 August
With reference to you nose bleed comment -- I had tons and tons of nose bleeds when I was little. I guess some people are more prone than others. I had to get cauterized when I was little and it helped. I remember at one point, I was having a bleed every single night! I feel for you....it is no fun for you or the child!

1st-time-mama08 - Tuesday, 12 August
Thanks! I went to the dr and he said it was prob a bite or maybe he hurt it somehow....it went down and so u really cant tell now but the reason i was concerned was because When I saw it on Sat night it was puffy and the bump was pretty big. maha55 - Thursday, 24 July
Yes you are probably right..mothers know best!!! And I think the fruit and veg idea is a good one too..good luck..keep me posted... xx

maha55 - Tuesday, 22 July
..my advice would be to stay away from cereal for baby until one year old...I found that to be v helpful..fruit and vegies best (stewed /steamed )..is she still breastfed???..there is no rush as these grains can cause allergies over time....and digestive system needs time to properly adapt...just a suggestion..xx
