MELISSAW. - Saturday, 6 Oct Thank you. We are okay today. I think I am just at the point where what will be, will be. Are you starting to feel lots of pressure? Any contractions? I have to go now, we are going to watch a movie! :-)
jujubee - Friday, 5 Oct Hi, thanks for you message, it was very sweet of you! I'm taking symbicort turbuhaler, which is a combination of budesonide and formoterol, a long-acting beta agonist. No oral medicines, thank God. The safety data is pretty reassuring on these drugs, but this is my first pregnancy and I can't help feeling anxious about using them. Now I need to take the long glucose test, cause the short one (1hr) came back kinda high, 160, and I'm guessing the steroids could be the culprit... I guess this is what motherhood is all about, isn't it? worries, worries, worries. And WOW, you're really getting there, how exciting, I can't wait to get that far. I hope you have a wonderful 36 days left (from your counter), and I am sure your baby will be as beautiful as his brothers! Congratulations!
Soontobe3 - Friday, 5 Oct I was off bed rest on July 4th at 35 weeks and then a week later I woke up feeling bad and my blood pressure was 155/101. So I went back on bed rest until I was induced at 37 weeks. I was at 4cm. when they admitted me for my induction. I was on procardia for the eleven weeks to stop my contractions (which I never felt.) My last pregnancy really took a toll on me both physically and emotionally and then the labor from hell really topped it off. I felt tlike my body was trying to tell me it is through with the baby business. I thought he would fall out too! LOL I think my doctor was thinking the same thing since I had such quick labors in the past. I guess you never know though. You don't have that much longer to go before he is served with his eviction notice! Are your sons excited?
MELISSAW. - Friday, 5 Oct Your comment made me and my hubby laugh last night. I am really afraid, but hubby says maybe over reacting. I really don't want to push out a 10 pound-er either! The other GD gals were all on insulin and I believe that helped them pop out 7 pound-ers. I feel blessed that I am not, and then again I feel very nervous. I will try not to panic too much. :-)
soontobe3 - Friday, 5 Oct Thank you for the comment about the names. Nolan is the most common name in our house and even with that I don't know too many Nolans. We didn't decide on his name until about two weeks before he was born. My first labor lasted 7.5 hours and Kendrick's labor was 2.5. Nolan was definitely my hardest and most hellish. I was on bed rest for 11 weeks because I had dilated 1 cm. at 26 weeks. He makes me doubt that I will ever have children again but he is so worth it!
soontobe3 - Thursday, 4 Oct Have you decided on a name for #3?
Soontobe3 - Thursday, 4 Oct Honestly it was harder going from 1 to 2 then it was 2 to 3. I thought we would have major jealousy issues since Kendrick isn't two yet but he has done surprisingly well. Mekhi has been a major help as well. Are you starting to get nervous?
soontobe3 - Thursday, 4 Oct Congratulations on your pregnancy. I just had my 3rd son 2.5 months ago. I guess I will have to resolve that I will always be outnumbered.
momofboys - Thursday, 4 Oct Yes the chinese chart was right with the 3 boys. It can't be right 100% right? I like your belly pic!
momofboys - Thursday, 4 Oct LOL! My friend who is in his 20's & I went to the store this last summer to buy liquor and I got carded. The clerk said 'You gotta be shittin me!' My friend was like you want to see my ID? He said, don't need to. I tanned ALOT! I cant see your face. I use Oil of Olay daily. I could do a commercial. I want a girl, but after 3 boys yhea I will need a manual. LOL!
momofboys - Thursday, 4 Oct I have 3 boys & tried one last time for a girl. So this is the last for me. So cool your boys have the same bday! Are you having another boy this time or a girl? Good Luck to you!
tengleking25 - Wednesday, 3 Oct Well I woke up on a Sunday morning after walking Saturday night and a little bit of 'pee' ran down my leg...at least that is all I thought it was...So all day Sunday I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned then went to the doctor Monday morning and she examined me cause I told her about the 'pee' needless to say she was upset w/ me cause my water had broke..I just never had a gush. So that is why from now on when I think something is going on I go to the doctor. I could have really hurt Devin and myslef. See both times when my water has broke I have not went into labor. So I never had any contractions or anything to make me thing I was in labor, I jus thought I had pee'd on myself! LOL
MELISSAW. - Tuesday, 2 Oct Sorry to hear about your kid being so sick. I have no clue. Sorry I can not help.
MELISSAW. - Tuesday, 2 Oct Between you and me, I love when people come onto the GD page all freaked out about a condition they MIGHT have, when we already have it. You have to laugh. :-) By the way, your boys are beautiful.
tengleking25 - Tuesday, 2 Oct With my first son my water broke and I did not even know!! I had him @ 35 wks. My second son I went into labor @ 28 wks and had to take tributiline which helped, but my water broke @ 33 wks and they kept hime in untiln 34. He was still a big baby though he was 7.5 and his lungs were fully developed cause of the steroid shots they had given me so everything ended up being all right. I went for my NST today and was having contractions and the babies heart rate was dropping with each one and I am starting to lose my plug!! So we will see...I am very excited about having another boy..I was dissapointed at first, but I would not know what to do w/ a girl either. I just want him to stay in another 3 wks at least! Do you have a name picked out yet?
tengleking25 - Monday, 1 Oct I am just like you!! I have never had an easy pregnancy and this is no exception. If I carry Connor to 36 it will be my first time ever!! I am getting fixed after this one :) How did you feel when they told you another boy? Or did you already know before they told you..you know from mommy insticts!
Miska - Wednesday, 26 Sep Hello. Here's a site you should check out. It as a list of fast food you maybe able to eat. What I like about it is that it gives you a carb count for each sandwich. --> www.foodfacts.info
babygracie - Tuesday, 25 Sep allboyz...in the past 2 weeks I had 13 readings that were over 120 and I test 4x a day. so, thats 13 out of 56.....Just be careful with your diet...
MELISSAW. - Monday, 24 Sep Don't worry about it. We are all kinda clueless with GD. But it is a good idea to sick with the GD page on this site. I have learned lots. I am not on insulin yet either. So far, I have been trying to control it through diet. But if I have to use insulin, so be it. Hang in there and good luck at the nutritionist tomorrow. Oh, and I am totally out numbered also. :-) Thanks for the compliment on my pictures.
