Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sorry to read about your loss. I would have the d/c I think waiting for it to pass is more draining on your both physically and mentally. I have a m/c when I was young and it passed and that was a VERY hard thing to see happening. Good luck to you and take sometime to yourself.

Hi Im from 18 weeks. Sorry for your loss. But something similar happen to me with this pregnancy. I went in for my first u/s at 6 weeks and they only saw the sac and nothing in it. I was told to come back a week later and sure enough there was a fetal pole. I realize that you are a little futher along then I was, but maybe you are measuring further along than you really are. I hope this helps but maybe you should get a second opinion. It is better to be safe then to wonder what if. I hope this helps you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was pregnant in May and when I got my u/s they told me there was no baby either, just a empty sac. Since that was my first m/c I didn't know what to do either, but they told me if I let it pass then I could get an infection. So I got the d&c, I was scared at first, but it's not bad at all. Just a little uncomfortable. You should get the d&c, it's alot quicker too. I hope you all the best.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is very normal to be emotional after having a m/c. Before my son was born in April I had 3 m/c and it devastated me each time. personally I prefered to have a d/c each time. The procedure is not painfull, just a little discomfort afterwards and a few days rest needed. I constantly worry about m/c myself but I know it is natures way of doing whats best in the sittuation. Take care of yourself and take all the time u need to get both your body and mind back on track.

alottamocha- i am very sorry to hear about your situation. i am in week 26 of a healthy(thank god) pregnancy but i wanted to share with you that my first pregnancy turned out to be a blighted ovum..except i thought i was 12 weeks along by the time i started to actually miscarry the sac and stuff- bleeding and passing material. it was very painful, the doc gave me 10 hydrocodine 5s, and i had to take them like 4 at a time to make the pain go away (on the first night of serious pain i ended up taking a morphine pill from a friend and i still could feel a bit) and ended up getting a refill of 10 more. ( i never take medicine unless i have to, not even tylenol, ect, iso i'm serious)even after then i still hurt some and mostly emotionally..it was hell, i've heard a miscarriage is sometimes more painful that birth, and you're hurting emotionally on top of that.. it took me about 3 n 1/2 weeks to pass all the material, the largest piece, the collapsed sac, being these size of a LARGE thumb and about 4 inches long..i suggest you get a d&c, your bleeding time will be very short and there will be less pain..having to deal with the fact that i was miscarrying for 3 1/2 weeks was torture, it was on my mind all the time and i couldn't get away from it. it also took about a few months for my period to return to normal afterwards..i hope this tells you what u need to know. i'm very sorry for your loss, i know how it feels and to this day it still upsets me to think of it. let yourself grieve, it's part of the healing process..you're in my thoughts. -beth

Welcome! You are not alone on the easily annoyed thing...i am not myself lately, I'm sure the morning sickness and fatigue probably has a lot to do with it! I saw you are from Knoxville---We go to the Smokies a couple times a year to hike and reduce our stress! The mountains are so beautiful and peaceful there!
