After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Crap I hate even being home alone. Yes, I'm still scared of the dark but put on a brave face for my kids. I think you need some time off work. Trauma related. I think there is something out there for victims of crime.

I'm sure time will heal but it doesn't help right now. Hang in there! You'll just have to bring your hockey stick to work with you. =)

Hi Amelia! I've always like that name! And since I have an English last name I really want an English first name...How does Amelia Middleton sound? I'm only 13 weeks and I don't plan on finding out the gender until the baby is born. I waited with my first and it helped me through labor b/c I was so excited to find out if it was a boy or girl. Best wishes!!

Hey there! Thats great that your daughter will go poop on the potty! Thats usually the BIGGEST struggle...so your ahead of the game! =) With my daughter I had to get creative. I made her a "Potty-Training Chart". Everytime she went pee or poop on the potty she got to pick out a princess sticker and put it on her chart. She thought this was amazing! (lol) We took the chart everywhere with us...I think consistency was the key! If we went to a resturant, then we left the chart in the car and made sure to put a sticker on it as soon as we got back to the car. It sounds crazy but it works! After about 2 weeks she was totally potty trained! I have to admit, she does still wear a pull-up or diaper at night. She still doesnt wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I figure its easier to just throw a diaper on her then change sheets every night. I told her doctor this and they said it was just fine and that a lot of kids dont make it through the night until 4 or 5. My best advice would be to not give her pull-ups. I tried the pull-up thing for about a day and decided it wasnt worth it...she would just pee in them. I know it sucks, but letting them wear underwear is the best way. That way if they pee in them then they know how yucky it feels and wont do it again. Also, I took Mackenzie to the store and let her pick out her own underwear (she thought this was great). And finally, once they have the underwear on CONSTANTLY ask them if they need to go potty! I must have asked her 20 times in an hour, but it avoided accidents and reminded her that she doesnt have on a diaper/pull-up. I would always say, "Do you have to go potty? Remeber, you dont have a diaper on so if you need to go potty then you have to go in the big girl potty." I think the constant reminder helps a lot. Oh one more thing, look for some "clues" as to when they need to go. If she has something to drink you can almost bet that she'll need to pee within 20 minutes because their bladders are so tiny. Its a lot of work, but its sooo much easier once its done! I have a 1 year old too and I refused to have three kids in diapers! (lol)

Hey ladies:) Well I spent all day Sunday in labor and delivery because of contractions that started at 7am:( they were every 2 minutes lasting about 45 seconds. I had severe back pain and a ton of pressure in my rectum and vag area. I wasnt too worried at first but after 3 hours I decided to call the dr who told me to get into L&D to be seen. They monitored me, tested me for a bladder infection and made me drink 64oz of water to try and calm them down. Nothing worked so they had to give me medicine (indomethacin)to stop the contractions and they also gave me that two part steriod shot to strengthen the babies lungs just in case I was to deliver early. So anyway the contractions didnt stop until around 5pm so every two minutes from 7am-5pm. BOO! My cervix is still closed and im not dialated so thats great news:) Anyway just thought id share:) Have a great day!
