No problem! Aiden also has a dimple, he gets it from me. That's sweet, a kiss from his granny. I should tell Aiden his is from a kiss from his great granny. Good idea!

Your J-Man is gorgeous!!! I luv the Pooh costume! I am so sorry to hear about your mother, I could only imagine how hard it would be. I send HUGS!!! My MIL did get to meet my SIL's son, she passed away a little over a week later. She never got to meet Aiden but I am sure she is looking down from abov, same as your mom :) Yes I agree the holidays are quite rough after a loved one passes away. Have a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year with your lovely family! Thanks for the message!

I went to Midway College for 2 years, so I know exactly where you are!! I also did part of my student teaching at Doss!! I have a friend who lives right near Doss as well.

Well, since my name is Charlotte and not short, I understand about people wanting to shorten it - I get called Char a lot!! I'm guilty of it too, though, because I call my husband Kevin, Kev, and my son Trevor, Trev. (When I'm just talking fast or something!) What's funny is when I say one or the other, usually the wrong one ends up answering because they sound the same shortened!

Trevor was upset when we found out we were having a girl. My brother and sister-in-law had just had a girl at the end of April, so we were hoping that Trevor would get used to the idea a little better. Although he aboslutely adored Isabella, he still fussed for a few months about having a sister instead of a brother. He says he's ok with it now, but he's also gotten to where he's acting a little indifferent about the whole thing. I ended up spending the day at the hospital yesterday being monitored for pre-eclampsia and then I got an ultrasound to check Madison's heart and breathing because her heart-rate wasn't doing what they wanted it to do. Everything turned out fine and I was sent home (on stricter bedrest). It was kind of funny when I talked to Trevor because I told him his sister had hair (we could see it on the ultrasound) and he says "OK". Then he goes right into talking about staying up late. He seems to just avoid the subject of the baby at all the last few weeks! I'm sure he'll be ok once she's here.

Well, anyway, I'm back to bed now. Even with yesterday's excitement, I am still scheduled for my c-section on the 3rd. I go back to the dr Monday, or I have to call if anything changes. I'm so close to having her at this point, I figure I'm fine with Wednesday, but every day seems to be the longest day!! I can't wait to see her now!

Hi! Where are you near Lexington? I went to Midway College for 2 years when I started college! Otherwise, I've lived in Louisville my whole life. Yes, I'm close!! I'm scheduled for a c-section on Dec. 3rd, so 11 days to go! What is your baby's name? How is your older son adjusting? I have a 12 year old son who is in 6th grade and I constantly worry about how he's going to handle the baby after being an only child for so long! I'm not sure if Kristen visits this site anymore or not - I'll ask her. She's my sister-in-law and that beauty she had in April is my first/only niece!! My son absolutely adores the baby so I'm hoping that will carry over to his own sister! (Of course, maybe the fact that Isabella goes home changes the situation!!) Good to have another friend close by!!

Hey Lady- It has been awhile...things have been pretty busy these days. How is Jonathan? Mayson is doing wonderful...growing up so fast now I can't even believe it. He's sitting up by himself and laughing like crazy all the time...he's the goofiest little boy I've ever met Still no teeth, which I'm surprised about b/c I feel like he's been teething for EVER LOL We spent the last 5 weeks slowly weening off the breast and now Mayson only breast feeds once at night (I'm working on cutting that out in the next week). Don't get me wrong I loved breastfeeding and would have like to go longer, but work got busy and I wasn't able to keep up with the pumping, I did exclusively breastfeed until 5 months and another 6 weeks after that I mixed formula and breast. so I am still happy I was able to do that for my son. Talk to you soon!

yeah we give Caleb a bath every night as part of his bed time routine! He loves the bath too! Also, he has milk and formula pooling in the cracks of his neck all day so if he doesn't get a bath, he has that sour milk smell in the morning. It's bad enough that my bras smelled like sour milk for months, I don't want my baby smelling like that! lol And he loves to splash around in his baby tub!

Do you bathe J in the bath tub or is he still using his baby tub? Nathan and I got into such a routine of giving Caleb a bath in his baby tub on the dining room table. (i know it sounds weird if you try to picture it!) We both have bad backs and I have really bad knees (thanks to my dad!) so the thought of kneeling over the tub to bath his is just painful!! Also, the only normal tub i have in the house is the kind that has the sliding glass doors so not only do I have to kneel but I also have to lean over a metal bar! My tub is a jaquizzi tub that is really deep and he can't go in there unless I go with him.

I guess I'm going to have to get creative with bath time because Caleb is splashing so much that I need to mop up the floor!

Oh wow! He's a good size baby!! I love the little fat rolls on Caleb's thighs! And he's got these cheeks that make me want to nibble on them! hehehehe! Caleb still hasn't gotten his first tooth yet but i'm sure it's coming any day now!
