My name is Amie. I am engaged to a sweet man named Matt. We have a little boy that is now a year old! God does time fly! He's growing so fast and doing so much everyday. I am a very proud stay at home mommie.

Other than that...I paint and scrapbook. I run 3 miles daily. I get on here every morning. Nolan doesn't get up til 8:00. I get up at 5 so that I can clean up the house..eat some breakfast... get on my elliptical! When my little guy gets up...we go on our run...come home take a nap. It's a good life.

Hey Lady! My party is this Saturday. Its my first girl party so I'm getting a little nervous but its not too bad. I invited 10 girls and 9 have RSVP'd so I think that's a good turnout. I wish you could join us - we would have sooo much fun. Kam is doing good girl. She's almost going from a laying down to sitting position on her own and she's pulling up on everything. Not sure if I told you she got her ears pierced but take a look at the pics, their too cute! She's really getting big too girl. She's almost 19 pounds. Other than that, all is well. aaawww good! Sounds like a smart decision. Plus, two car seats? No ma'am! If you have two seats on your arm, which arm you gonna hold that big plush Michael Kors Hobo bag to match your stilettos cause you're still gonna be a diva - LOL! Girl, you know I don't have any friends here. I was pulling straws to invite the 9 people that I've invited. I only know 4 of them, and the other 5, I've met since I've been here. One is my Kelly Services representative, another is my Mary Kay lady, etc. I wanted it to be an array of strangers to a certain extent so no one would be afraid to be honest. I've sent out the evite so its official now. December 13th is the date. I've already had 5 people to RSVP so I hope we have lots of fun. I wish you could be here. But I'm gonna take your advice and sit you on my couch. Sorry Amie, you're gonna be here whether you like it or not

Another Baby??? WOW - I really commend you for that one cause having another baby is the last thing on my mind girl....So why are you feeling this way? Would you like to have your babies close together and get it over with or could be be missing Nolan being a newborn since time is flying by and he's growing sooo fast. You know, sometimes I miss holding Kamryn like a newborn because now, when I try to hold her, she's all occupied, reaching for things or trying to get on the floor to crawl around. My advice is - if you're going though scenario number 1, then I say talk to Matt about it, get him onboard and when you're both in agreeance, start trying again. On the other hand, if its scenario number 2, then you might wanna re-evaluate your decision on having another baby right now. You might regret it later since you'll be making a decision to have a baby strictly based on emotions. Think about it. Hope that helps!

So peep this, I've been having this premonition on a ladies night. Tell me what you think about this one. I wanna call it "Waiting to Exhale". I'm gonna invite about 8-10 females and we'll have a night of chatting and sharing over wine and hors d'oeuvres. I want to have it at night with candles and soft music. Not too dark where it looks like a seduction scene, but you know what I'm saying - LOL! I was thinking of putting a fish bowl in the middle of the table and passing out index cards and pens so that everyone can write down a different topic or question that women wouldn't normally get together and discuss. For example, "What would you say if your significant other asked you to partake in a threesome?" or "How do you keep your mom/his mom out of your business?" or even "How do you learn to trust someone again?" or my all time favorite "How much sex is tooo much sex?" - LOL! So after everyone is done writing topics of discussion and gotten a little tipsy, they'll fold them up, drop them in the fish bowl and we'll randomly pull them and discuss one at a time. So if someone invited you to a party like that, would you be interested? I think it would be soooo much fun! I thinking of doing it the second Saturday in December. Haven't decided yet though. What do you think? You know I'm not Ms. Sensitive so please be honest....

I can barely keep up. She's been da-da-da-da-ing all over the place but I'm still waiting on a ma-ma-ma-ma. Guess that one will come a little later. Hey hon! Yes girl, she is definitely on a pretty consistent schedule. She naps twice during the day and sleeps for 12 hours at night. Pretty much around the same time as Nolan. She's still not in her crib yet though. That's my project for this week. I've decided to make her babyfood since I'm still home so she's about to start eating potatoes and carrots. I hoping she really likes em. She'd been rolling over from tummy to back but this morning she rolled over for the first time from back to tummy so I was all excited girl. It was too cute. I think I kinda screamed in a high pitch like, "Good Job Kam" and it scared the shit out of her - haha. Girl she looked at me like, wtf are you talkin about mommy - haha! The mil has gotten a lot better girl. I think she's getting the hint to stay the f^^k out of our business these days. We still haven't set a wedding date. We've been kind of beefing a lot lately over nothing but we had a get-a-way weekend this past week so that's really helped some. Girl, he has been working my damn nerves. But I think its really because I don't have anything really occupying my time so I have to watch the nitpicking. Well anyways hon, that's all on my end. Oh, when did Nolan get his first tooth?

try playing peek a boo more and more. I heard it teaches babies that we will leave and come back. start with hands, then blankets, then try it pooking your head around a corner. try each a couple days til he gets okay with it. maybe this might help? I helps me when i'm getting ready in the morning. taylor will sit there staring at where i left, and i check in ever couple min and say peek a boo, she laughs, and i go get ready some more. oh, and i'd pick him up more often. like you said you cant spoil a baby, and the more you confort him now, the more he knows you'll be there and he can relax and know you'll be there when he really needs you. I know a lot of babies are like this, but we havn't had any trouble with taylor doing this. hope this helps some.

Hi there! I saw your msg on 7 month public page. I remember you from pregnancy, I don't know if you remember me but it's funny, Gavin was born a day before your little boy. Your boy is adorable. I know it's hard when you have to do stuff and the little one's extra clingy but I was just talking to a friend of mine today with a baby the same age and we were like, "why are they being so weird lately?" And then we're like, oh, yeah, they're teething, growing, learning to sit, crawl, and babble. that's an awful lot for them to be going through so I'm sure that's why they may be a bit more needy now. He won't even play in a jumper or exersaucer? That really helps me get stuff done. Good luck! I hope it gets better soon. Take care!

this is that age where they are building strong attachments and can finally tell a difference between mommy and daddy, stranger and friend.I think your bubba is just attached to you and expresses it when you leave.I think he will grow out of that.

To be honest I don't believe picking up a baby 'spoils' them ... he sounds like he wants extra attention from his mummy so maybe just give it to him

I know you prob already do but could you sing songs and chat to him and be silly with him while you do your chores. That's what I do with Caden otherwise he gets bored. I think you have a very active alert child and he just wants that extra mummy time! Caden also cries at night when his dad tries to settle him, he only wants me to do it. I guess cos we are the main care givers they have that extra attachment.

Hi Ladies - Just wanted to let you know that my little lady has made 4 months and growing more and more everyday. She's such a joy - laughing out loud, rolling over (well from stomach to back but we're working on the other way) and she's still sleeping about 12 hours every night. I've also started her on solids. I've decided to make her babyfood (huge money saver) so I've been adding bananas and apple sauce to her cereal and she loves it! She has her 4 month checkup on 9/8 so she's not gonna be a happy camper since she has to have more shots but I'm sure she'll be fine. I just hope that the nurse isn't soo rough this time **wishful thinking**... Well that's all our new news. Here are some 4 month pics that we've taken the last couple of days.
