HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

1/1/2009

What a way to start the new year than with a new addition to our family! After trying for only two months, we finally saw a plus sign today! We are both very excited and nervous about having another baby. Since Anasofia just stopped breastfeeding 3 days ago, it feels like my body hasn't had a break for 2 years!!! lol I hope this pregnancy is healthy and uneventful. We had all the excitement and trouble we could handle with my pregnancy with Anasofia, so it would be nice to relax for this one! Hahahaha! Fingers crossed and hoping for the best!

Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

irishbeachmommy - Monday, 1 Oct
I have a girlfriend from back home in D.C. who moved there and she loves it. I just moved down south too (from D.C. to Florida) and it's a HUGE change and can be hard. Especially when you're preggo and don't know anyone! Sometimes I get really homesick, but most of the time I'm happy and I relly like it down here. I'll tell you what I don't miss is the snow! lol! If you ever want to talk about it, lemmie know. I will definately understand :)

I saw your comment about working out. I think chasing after kids all day is really good exercise in and of itself :-). I've been trying to either walk, do prenatal yoga, light cardio, or light weights 3 or 4 times a week my entire pregnancy. I've gained a normal amount of weight so far (18 pounds), so it seems to be working out okay. I feel like the important thing is to just be active however you can manage it!

lilfishn - Sunday, 23 Sep
My hubby has tried and tried and cannot hear the heartbeat. I also read that it depends on the baby's position... Poor guy just keeps tryin tho.

Happy2bexpecting - Sunday, 23 Sep
Hi there girl. Hope you're feeling good these days. Regarding your question on the weekly boards... prenatal yoga, prenatal aquafit, and walking are good exercises at this stage of our pregnancies. Unfortunately for me I keep missing the prenatal aquafit classes as they're at 9am and I still get sick if I don't sleep in.

So glad to hear that you're probably not in preterm labor and everything looks good for you. Hope the test results come back negative. In the meantime, enjoy the time off.

lisalulu - Thursday, 20 Sep
I just had the FFN test yesterday too! I was having crazy Braxton Hicks contractions so they were worried. It came back negative, which is good. They are also know for their false postive results, so no matter what try not to worry. You will be fine! But it is good that they issued that test because it helps with peace of mind. I wish you all the best.

any suggestions on what i should be looking for for your 'buddy' gift? :)

dec.baby.gift.exchange - Monday, 17 Sep
Hey, I am trying to do some updates on the gift page. Do you have a name for that beautiful baby yet? If you haven't done so yet you might want to check out your buddies info.

Tbull Girl - Sunday, 16 Sep
My little girl is lying really low too and sideways. If my pants or panties are pressing into me in the area here she is it is REALLY uncomfortable and sometime painful!! I found the under the breast mat. pants (thta is what I call them) are really comfy for me.

TabithaLove - Saturday, 15 Sep
Thank you for the comment on my pic...but don't be too jealous! I only fit into 2 pair of non-maternity jeans. I live most of my days in maternity clothes! Well, congrats on the girl!

Happy2bexpecting - Thursday, 13 Sep
I was just reading your post on the 24 week board and omg I was just saying to my hubby tonight that it felt like I was doing situps all day because my tummy was so achy. Glad to know I'm not the only one, not that I like the fact that someone else has to feel this, but it's reassuring to know I'm not alone. I find if I lay down for awhile after having a warm bath, it gets a little better.

mummytybax - Monday, 10 Sep
hi ya, i've heard alot of people say they've spotted after intercourse but its not something i've experienced. if it carries on i'd speak to your midwife just to be sure everything is good, i think it is quite a common thing to happen. hope your ok, let me know how you get on! xxx

Devinsmom - Sunday, 9 Sep
I have called my my doctor after having sex because I was having contractions. At that time he told me that it was perfectly normal to have contractions and spot afterwards. If it persists, I would call or go in. But some spotting is absolutely normal! I hope this makes you feel better!

kara - Sunday, 9 Sep
irishbeachmommy- apparently that is quite common to have some bleeding after sex while pregnant. I found this online... 'ENJOYING SEX WHILE PREGNANT How you will feel about sex while pregnant depends on your individual feelings ... you may experience occasional bleeding or spotting after intercourse, ...' but if you feel too concerned you should contact your Dr or healthcare provider... it is all what makes you feel better... you dont wanna be stressed out either

mummytybax - Sunday, 9 Sep
hi ya, i'm good thanks, getting bigger and loving every minute of it! i cant keep my hand off my belly and i cant stop rubbing it, lol!. how are you feelign lately, had anymore painful BH's? i've just sneezed and OMG, i had a really sharp pain low down, have you every had that? hope your feeling well and enjoying little girl bump xxx

mummytybax - Thursday, 6 Sep
hi ya, i read your comment on week 23 and can sympathise with the painful braxton hicks! this is my first pregnancy and i've had a quite a few braxton hicks and they have been ok, my belly just goes rock solid, but i've also had about 5 times now where the pain is really bad, like a cross between gas and really bad period pains! which have left my belly aching for a good few hours! the other day i was driving and my belly hurt moving my foot from one peddle to the other, when i had a scan the other day i told the doctor about it and he said as long as its not frequent like every half hour then not to worry, although i am going to double check with my midwife when i see her next! my placenta is also at the front, it makes me wonder if the braxton hicks hurt more because of that, there has been a couple of people with painful BH whose placenta is at the front, strange! definatly going to have plenty of pain relief if the BH are anything to go by, labour is going to be sooo much worse! lol. sorry for rambling on, hope you are doing well and enjoying pregnancy. take care xxx

lisamarie8503 - Tuesday, 4 Sep
Hello! Just wanted to say congrats on your pregnancy! I am from Minneapolis MN, and I am almost 18 weeks pregnant with my first baby...a little girl :)

LisaReader - Thursday, 30 Aug
Angela and Jay - I've gained 15 pounds so far, and according to my doc that is 'perfect' and I'm right on target to gain the recommended 25 to 35 pounds. So it sounds like you're also totally normal and doing great!

CharacterOfLife - Monday, 27 Aug
