Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

I do give him oatmeal by spoon as he does not seem to care for the ceral by spoon but in his bottles he does not have a choice. I will try the barley by spoon as well in the bottle. If he likes it I may have to go back to the store where I found it ( as I have not seen the barley any place else ) and get more because all the cereals were buy one get one free. Cant bet getting 2 boxes of cereal for 1.80. Thanks....:)

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Here is our bedtime routine: Around 5PM Owen goes for a little nap and thats when I make dinner (hubby works two jobs so he isn't home till 10PM) If Owen doesnt get this nap in (he sometimes doesn't) my older sons will play with him while we are making dinner. We eat around 6 - Owen sits in his highchair with us at the table and he eats something solid at this time as well (so far he likes greenbeans and carrots!). then around 6:30 we will have a bath. And then about 7:30 or 8 he wants a bottle and he falls asleep in my arms and I put him in his crib. If he doesn't fall asleep in my arms he gets put in his crib anyway and he falls asleep on his own.

Hi, I don't have the chomping problem, but I wanted to ask you how much milk you actually make and if you have any reasons you can pinpoint as to why you are a low supply mom? I've been battling low supply and found a great website and support group that have helped me overcome my supply problems. I'd love to be able to help you if I can.

My baby bites down on my nipple too. Not pleasant! I met with a lactation consultant who told me the baby was doing this due to a bad latch. Your baby may just be getting used to the bottle. She may be forgetting how to change her suck at your nipple. I'd say meet with a Lactation consultant ASAP so you can correct the problem before it gets worse.

I had probs with my son gumming me when my milk came down to fast. I just inserted my finger, broke the latch, and re-attached him. I have the opposite problem though to much milk so I am not much help there. :-( Sorry

He goes to his appt on Tuesday so I'll know what he weighs by then but I can tell when I pick him up now that he feels a lot heavier! I'm gonna guess he's close to 12 pounds, he was born 8 lb 1oz on 7/30. Yeah he took 2 4oz bottles back to back this morning, it's crazy!

My son eats every 2 hrs too! He was taking 4oz up until about 3 days ago, now he's started taking 6! I'm going to ask the dr when we go on tuesday...

I feel so lucky that we live in a province that is so thoughtful to new parents...
Starting my pre-natal classes at the Royal Vic on Saturday the 21st...wouldn't it be weird if you were in my class? Have a great day at home. I woke up this morning in shock that I didn't have to run to the office...now I'm going to attack the massive dust buildup in my house...its a little out of hand....:o)
