Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

With my first born, I gained 55 lbs. And, they used pitocin on me. I had tons of water weight. I lost 11 lbs the first week. With the second, I gained 40 lbs. My stomach is going down fast. I lost 12 lbs so far. I think it's because I'm breastfeeding.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

saw your post-want to reassure you that it will go down. I have had 2 c-sections. The first one went down right away, but the second took about 10 -12 days to notice a difference. Congrats on your little one!!!

Babyizzy2 - Monday, 1 December
Congrats as well! Isabella is on one of my breasts as we speak. The nipples are sore but I do find that Lanolin does help. The hospital provided us with the stuff. It'll get better with time. I guess our bodies will adapt. I experienced this with my son. I think my daughter is lucky b/c my milk came in faster. They say that the milk does come in faster with the second child.
The pain fades away once you look into your little ones eyes.

Congratulations, I am so glad everything went well for you, and to be home in 2 days, that is amazing. Your right breast feeding is difficult but I seem to be getting the hang of it and when your milk comes in properly your little man will sleep much better. Well done, keep me updated on you and your prince.

I delivered Sunday 23rd 736pm 7lbs 12oz.. 19 1/2 inches.

Via C-section after pushing for an hr dilated 10cm.

Remember me saying Saturday I was going to try the primrose oil well I stuck one up inside me around midnight or so and at 2am I was having 2-3 min apart cramps... an hr later I said lets go and I was still 3cm. They had me walk around for 2 hrs drinking juice and ice chips. I was then 4.5 cm.
They swabbed me for MRSA ( a bacteria)
They decided to admit me at 830am and at 845am the Dr. broke my water. Luckily it was the Dr. we LIKE!
We walked around the hospital for about an hr. At 6pm I got stadol and it made the room SPIN!! I passed out for a good 45 minutes and when I got up I also had pitocin going.
As well as fluids and the antibiotics I needed for the Strep B postivie....(2nd round of those)
At 6.5 cm or so they started the Epidural and the Dr. kept having to try again and again...I got to the point I was screaming and almost crying and FINALLY he got it!!!!!!
The nurse kept increasing the pitocin and I finally got to 9.5cm and she said it is almost time to start pushing.
So as the pressure started in I started pushing. My husband and sister in law were in there with me. I pushed for an hour and nothing...... I kept gagging from the smell of....well I'm sure you can guess. Was even playing tug of war with the nurse.
The Dr. came in and checked me and said you've been pushing for an hour now and you have a fever....and his head is transverse, it's time for a C-section :oh my !!
So ok let's go...and off I went. Next thing I knew they were cutting me and pulling him out and then putting my uterus back inside me. I could feel all the tugging, burning sensation etc.... I saw Brayden, but was so totally out of it... I guess I passed out again it was so foggy!
Then I got wheeled out to my room and another room (room #5 for the day) and finally got to see and hold Brayden.
I came up Positive for MRSA and have had to swab ointment into my nose 2 times a day for 5 days and have to use this shower stuff Tuesday and now tomorrow Thursday.
Jeff has been an angel!!! I'm very lucky and blessed.

I'm sore EVERYWHERE nipples.... it sucks!
Sore at the incision...... sore from the epidural on my back... sore where the fluid has built up in my legs.

Thank god for Percaset!! Keep me posted!
Kendra & Brayden.

Hi YummyMummy,
Thanks for the motivation! hehe. We're in the same boat. Are you having a boy or girl? I have a 3 yo boy and now I'm going to have a girl. I'm excited. I guess the good thing is that we'll see the baby right away. Good luck and I'll be thinking of you on Friday!

blackpearl - Tuesday, 25 November
I already planned on getting an epidural before I knew she was in this position. Well, we didnt make the final decision to have a c-section...he just told me that we would have to make that decision my next appt on the 3rd. I think that I am just so nervous thinking about it. I would really like to try and give birth vaginally whether I have to be induced or not. He said that babies in this position are more likely to have an emergency c-section. I also read online that a lot of times the baby will turn right before delivery. I am almost 39 weeks and the baby hasnt engaged into the pelvis at all...do you know if it is possible she can still engage in a matter of a week?

rosiejrz143 - Tuesday, 25 November
Hell no they aren't just dumb because they chose to suffer when they didn't have to. But to each is own, I'm like "GIMME DRUGS ALREADY!" Hell I'd take it now just to relieve the damn pressure.

Hippie Mama - Tuesday, 25 November
I was worried too b/c I'm also not producing colostrom or anything yet- I was going to talk to my doc today about it...... I'm glad someone could answer the question :)

rend - Tuesday, 25 November
Just got home from hospital, they keep you for 7 days here.......I had a baby BOY, we named him Lucas Vasko. Vasko is my husbands fathers name and he passed away 3 years ago. I am so glad to be home and am a little more relaxed. Check out the photos of Lucas on my page. Good luck with your C-section. I had Lucas all natural, only had the gas towards the end, it was pretty intense but you forget about the pain as soon as you see your little one........I have had a few sleepless nights but all is good for the most part. I will be watching your page for the arrival details!! Good Luck.

kanojoca - Sunday, 23 November
Thanks a lot hun!

Someone in the same boat with the bf situation!

The beginning was tough, but now my god ...now i just think i'm the luckiest person in the world. He is so good to me and we both can't wait to meet our little bundle!! February seem to far away right now! Ours was exactly 4months as well!

ITs nice to know it can work out, i think it actually brought us closer together and we got to know each other quickly and thank god we love eachother!!

Thanks for your advice! I'm taking it all on board!
It is interesting but now it feels tiring! tryign to juggle it all and work! But i've worked hard for this so am going to pull through!

Good luck with the deliver hun, best wishes to you and your family!
