Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Laura Ward - Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

CarrieE - Friday, 18 July Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I had Emma Grace on 7-12-2008!! I have posted pics and a birth story if you want to check them out. We are both doing great and my husband and I are thoroughly enjoying parenthood!! Ok...just wanted to check in. Hope all is going well for you!
mamajohnson - Thursday, 10 July I just came home from an induction...check out my birth story...i was worried for nothing
CarrieE - Monday, 7 July Hey...good to hear from you! I'm still hanging in there too! I'm actually home from work today because I was up all night last night with contractions. They got to about 5-7 minutes apart but were not terribly painful...more pressure than pain. Anyway, I'm still having some, but less regular now. I'm hoping they become more regular again and get stronger...I'm ready to meet our little princess already! At my appointment on Thursday, my dr said I'm almost 2cm dialated and 50% effaced. She said I've definitely dropped and that my cervix is much lower now too. During my internal exam, she was easily able to feel the baby's head. I'm just hoping that I keep progressing and get to meet my little Emma in the next day or so. So how are you feeling? Are you feeling as ready as me?
CarrieE - Wednesday, 23 April Hey Annie! Everything here is going great! I am feeling good and Emma is so active. I still feel plenty of kicks, but I can tell she's getting bigger because I can feel different body parts!! Its so cool!! I can feel an arm or an elbow moving and twisting...just so amazing!! I agree about how close we're getting...in no time we are going to have these beautiful babies!! So how about you? How are you feeling? Hope all is well and keep me posted!
CarrieE - Monday, 14 April Hi! I just wanted to say I'm not totally sure about the weight thing, but I think I read somewhere that at 27 weeks weight gain should be anywhere between 16-25 pounds. Again, not totally sure. I have gained 16.5 pounds so far. Let me know how everything's going! Nice to talk to you again!
goaskalice - Wednesday, 2 April 2 weeks..ur not properly 6 months till u start the 3 trimester soooooooooo confusin
karrieanne - Friday, 14 Mar I have a low lying placenta too, but I have a complete placenta Previa so my cervix is completely blocked. If your's is just low, then it should move up as your belly grows. It can cause bleeding because normally a placenta is planted high up out of harms way. If it does not move up then the doctor will probably go for a c-section because the baby has to come out before the placenta. if the placenta is too low and comes first or gets in the way of the baby it could jeopardize the baby's oxygen supply. So most doctors dont take the risk and just opt fo c-section. f your moves up out of the way then you can have a natural birth. you should have no worries though. if you have bleeding, go to your doc immediately or to the hospital if it is heavy or comes with pain.
Cbell - Friday, 14 Mar I was also diagnosed with a low lying placenta at 12 weeks. At my 20 week scan it had moved up. The only problems it can cause is if it's an actual placenta praevia (where it partially or totally covers the cervix). I'm sure your doc would have told you if it was this. It does slightly increase your chance of bleeding and preterm labour. But, the good news is that most low-lying placentas move up as your uterus grows and don't cause major (if any) problems! Don't be too anxious about it! Hope this helps! Good luck.
babyjohn - Friday, 14 Mar I just found out I have a low lying placenta on Monday. I had some blood tinged mucus on Sunday, went to the ER. Everything was ok so they sent me home. I followed up with my doctor on Monday and that's when I found out about my placenta and that' s probably why I had the blood tinged mucus. I only had it once, Thank God. Sometimes with a low lying placenta you need to have a c-section. My doctor said that I do not, but he said that a low lying placenta can cause preterm labor and that makes me very nervous. I also heard that a low placenta can cause bleeding. I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday and I plan to ask a lot more questions about it.

margysd - Friday, 15 Feb Hi, I grew up in Bel Air, MD, went to Bel Air High School (class of 1988) and I am old enough to remember when main street was a to lane road. That was way before the Tolgate Town center was built. trip down memory lane. Take care.
