Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Laura Ward - Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

happymomma2be - Tuesday, 27 May Mine gets hiccups ALL the time...usually about 4-6 times a day. I did ask my doctor about this, and she said it was perfectly fine. My understanding is it happens when they swallow the amniotic fluid...isn't that cool?
jenw - Tuesday, 13 May Hey hun, How are you doing?? i haven't been on here in ages!!! Im doing well. Getting very tired and just starting to feel a little sick. Could be cause im tired tho.... how are you feeling?? Are you excited... Im starting to be really excited! I cant wait to finish work might be end of next week!! yey! Hope your really well hun!
happymomma2be - Thursday, 1 May I was throwing up a lot the last few weeks...finally figured out it was my prenatal vitamins after skipping them a few days to see what would happen. I contacted my doctor's office, and was told to take Flintstone vitamins and 1 gram of folic acid along with them. Check with your doctor and see if they recommend the same thing. I am running out of room, and the baby is sitting really high, so I think my stomach just couldn't process everything as quickly and the vitamins were upsetting my stomach by sitting there so long and up so high (lots of acid reflux!). The Flintstones/folic acid combo appear to be working as I haven't been sick anymore! Maybe this is what's going on with you?! Hope you feel better soon!
LiseyB - Tuesday, 22 April Congrats on your pregnancy. Avery is a very rare name in Australia where we are. much more common in the states. I hope your nephew is loved as much as our little avery joseph! On week 6 now and things are fantastic. Good luck!
strackbaby - Tuesday, 22 April Thanks for the message. It is SO very difficult isn't it? Finding a bra that fits AND is comfortable... I like Motherhood's clothes but the help there isn't very helpful. Thanks for letting me know about the Cup sizes...why can't they just stick with what we know? lol
angie - Wednesday, 9 April Try Walmart. They have a great selection under $300 and people write reviews on them which is what helped me decide.
araya-sunshine - Wednesday, 9 April Try looking on craigslist.org or freecycle.org for a crib. You might just find the crib you want. (and cheap or for FREE!) Where I live we also have neighborhood yard sale websites. (kingwoodyardsales.com) You might want to check and see if you've got yard sale websites where you live. I hope you find the crib you want and for the price you want!
autty - Wednesday, 9 April We're having a horrible time deciding what to do! It's driving me crazy! Target also has good priced furniture as well as JC Penny but a lot of that is back ordered as well. Even if you do get something that doesn't come in right away are you going to have the baby sleep in your room for a while in a bassinet? I keep thinking of that so I don't worry. My boy will be sleeping in there for probably 3 months...or until he stays asleep all night. *i looked at Target and they have one for 309 but they have 15% off right now....it's Bassettbaby too which is what we ordered for our first and we really think it's good quality. Sorry this was so long but I totally have issues in this dept right now
bugsy20 - Wednesday, 9 April I don't know where you live at, but I too had a hard time finding some baby furniture that I liked for a reasonable price. My mom looked online at Wal-Mart and we found a great price and they do free site to store shipping. That saves you a ton of money if you can get the free shipping. The furniture we got is Storkcraft, which is very good quality and we have it all put together and waiting on baby. I am very happy with the crib and dresser set that we got for about less than $400 for both. I would have never thought to look at Wal-Mart. Good luck
ashley27 - Friday, 4 April My boobs are doing the same thing. Kinda exciting. We are getting close. Hope all is well with you. Take care.
ukdutypaid - Friday, 4 April completely normal honey, its colestrum.... the best bit for baby...x.x.
HillaryB - Wednesday, 26 Mar Congrats on your test!
itty-bitty - Wednesday, 26 Mar hey! thanks for your message! there will only be 2 days between the tests, should i space it out?
braenel - Friday, 21 Mar hi.. did the Dr. say how long you would be spotting?
HillaryB - Tuesday, 18 Mar I passed my 3 hour test.Have you went for your 3 hour test yet?
HillaryB - Thursday, 13 Mar I'm sure you're fine, just cut back on your sugar.Like, use safe sugar substitutes when you absolutly need something sweet. My doctor told me to drink things like crystal light.Check with your doctor about the aspertane.I know from weight watchers, there are some really good 'sugar free'deserts out there. But really you should be able to eat anything right now in moderation.NObody has told you that you have it for sure.I know I have had a reality check, and I'm still going to take it easy on all food.(portions)Sometimes it feels like I have a bottomless pit. LOL It's funny because now I check all sugar grams on everything!!!!!!!!!!
HillaryB - Wednesday, 12 Mar Today I took my 3 hour glucose test, which is really a total of 4 hours all together. And sadly my doctor is on vacation until monday,so his assistant called me to say she's almost 100% sure I passed all 4 tests.(She doesn't read them often.)so hopefully the doctor will agree on Monday. She should know something about it right????I think she just doesn't want to put the final stamp on it because she's not the doctor. If she had any doubts she wouldn't have called. So don't panic.
mooboo35 - Wednesday, 12 Mar i am in the uk and i think the tests ardifferent here, we have one test that is two hours between bloods, i am still waiting for result but it is soooooo nerve wrecking waiting, hope all goes well for you
