Nikolle - Wednesday, 10 December
My husband tried to make me breakfast onece and I had to turn it down. I felt bad, but I had been telling him how certain foods made me sick. And now I have GD so he doesn't even go there. He has offered, but he doesn't just try to suprise me. Poor guy.

Nikolle - Wednesday, 10 December
Just wait until the baby comes, it is almost cute how little they understand. We have that natural instinct and they are clueless.

Anyone else cervical funneling? If so should I be worry?

Taylin-N-Alyssa - Wednesday, 10 December
The kids don't give you too much trouble? Have they been supportive as students? I hear ya on the last minute changes our wonderful employers impose on us. And we HAVE to keep up with the workload. It was not easy having to go through the first tri working. It was tough! The third is tougher as the baby's extra weight and pressure can be so exhausting on our bodies. Lack of sleep is the worst! But it's funny & amazing how much we can handle. Hope the grading isn't too bad and I hope they do well!

Nikolle - Wednesday, 10 December
You have to remember that we can multitask. They don't have enough room in their brains to think about us as much as we would like them too, lol.

Absolutely! The leg cramps have given me a break. I hope they don't come back. But swelling has been creeping up on me now. I guess it's that time as we get closer. I am a civil engineer (junior status, of course) with a Florida state agency. I don't do the traditional engineering work though. I am more into the technical side of things and keep track of all projects through presentations and meetings for the higher ups. So, it helps to have a desk job but I have my days of running around. It can get stressful at times due to deadlines.

Oh yeah, I think all men are clueless. I have to constantly complain about my issues to him, like he would do to me if he had a slight cold, or else he forgets. It is really lame. I just want a little compassion sometimes. But he just doesn't get it, doesn't realize what is going on because it is not happening to him. Typical male stuff though. Doesn't mean they don't care. If we tell them then they will say something, but then we get pissed because we had to tell them :)

I am so happy to hear all is well with you and baby! Yea! Keep resting and enjoying those quiet moments with baby. Sometimes i sit there and watch my belly. Too funny! Bed rest was only for Monday and Tuesday. I am back at work today. Taking a small break. I have my feet up though. Can't wait for tomorrow so i can get some answers as to what's going on and what they want to do. Baby has been very active. All that movement causes so much pressure and soreness. It is painful. I'm hoping I can make it with no more complications. When things like this happen, you tend to feel like a ticking time bomb.

Nikolle - Wednesday, 10 December
I know, I see him all comfy and I want to flick his ear or something, lol. Luckily he can fall asleep with the TV on. And I just lay there with acid reflux and pains and such for hours. I check on my daughter just to use some energy and pee like 4 times. I swear the position the baby is in I am pratically handicapped, so I just lay in bed, can't move without a big production or grabbing onto furniture. It is so weird how different pregnancies are. I was nowhere near this with my first last year.

Nikolle - Tuesday, 9 December
I have had incomnia this entire pregnancy. I can be so incredibley tired and then as soon as 10 pm hits I am wide awake. Arg! So then I am up until midnight and then still have a hard time falling asleep. Then I have to get up to turn off my husband's alarm, and he makes a bunch of noise getting ready and then I get up with my daughter. I was taking naps when she did during the day, but now I can barely do that. Lately I have been getting restless leg, so even when I take Tylenol PM I can't fall asleep. We better get used to it I guess :)

Taylin-N-Alyssa - Tuesday, 9 December
I certainly thought about what happened to you when all this started. I didn't want to take any chances. The OB said she was glad I went in to get checked. I will definitely follow that instinct. Better safe than sorry!

ashleyxchairez - Monday, 8 December

Try and think about moving as a step closer to getting the baby's nursery set up. If it was me, I would be dreading it too. But knowing that I would be able to finally set up would be an incentive. At this point, incentives are what sometimes works for me to make me move around. lol. I've been feeling the strain on my body really bad. I really felt it on the trip we took this weekend. The thought of leaving my home/bed was bad enough but I was determined to not allow pregnancy to change certain things that we had planned. I won't even get into the nursery. I am so behind. What is messing us up is having to paint. Aaargh! We have started buying the essentials for baby and I have to start packing a bag. Do you have one done? I get tired just thinking about it all, but I feel like you, where I want to see my baby so badly. I can only rub my belly as I see little elbows/feet poking out.

Taylin-N-Alyssa - Sunday, 7 December
I would have written sooner but we went out of town. It was interesting to travel when you feel like a barge. But, I was taken care of. :) Friday, before we left, we had the day from hell, so I had my share of grief and anguish.
Hopefully the bad experience of surgery and drugs fades soon. We are a week closer so we have LOTS to look forward to! yea!!! Hope you and baby are doing much better than Friday. Keep resting as much as you can. I also hope you are moving around a bit easier now. I know its hard to be on bed rest. Especially knowing there's nothing stopping these little ones and they're just around the corner.

I know the feeling. i had a general aneasthetic for my emergancy cerlauge when I was 23 weeks and I was so frightened. But they did promise that at that stage (and your stage of course) that it doesn't harm the baby at all. Still - doesn't make you feel much better at the time does it!

Have you been able to take it easy since the operation?

elliel - Saturday, 6 December
Hello there

Just read your post on 31 weeks...I didn't realise you are going through so much (that'll teach me for not checking in so much). so sorry but sound like you are being super brave (and a brilliant mom). Your little one is very lucky.

Hx

Oh so you felt it on the right side then... Geez, I bet you're glad you went to the hospital and not just put it down to pregnancy aches and pains (although I would imagine it would be quite severe pain?) You must've been petrified. What a nightmare! So will that mean that you'll need a c-section now?

I hope the recovery goes well...

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

That's so sweet! I'm glad that you had a good day. There's nothing like a child to cheer you up. My daughter does it to me too. Scary to hear about the contractions though. I am sure baby knew something was up! Poor thing. I don't want to know how the baby was feeling from all that anesthesia in your system. Bad enough that mommy was going through it. As long as you feel better and no more contractions, then hopefully it should be smooth sailing from here on. Hang in there and keep resting! Hope you and baby buka enjoy more sweet moments with your niece! Oh, and don't forget the funny Christmas movies! Makes me want to go watch watch "A Christmas Story". TAKE CARE!

Patty76 - Thursday, 4 December
'Hi, I read your post, i'm sorry to hear you had to have surgery. I hope you're ok. Can I just ask, what kind of pain was it? I've had this chronic pain about 5 times now where basically my entire torso hurts. It's happened about 5 times and the dr seems to think it's constipation (that's what it feels like, trapped wind) but reading your post, I hope it's not my appendix. I thought they were on your side and quite low.

Take care and rest up! :)
