I am a 44 year old mom of two boys (7 and 2) and I just found out I am pregnant for the third time!

Last week my abdomen felt very bloated and as my sons were showering in the YMCA family showers I took a good look at my belly--I looked 5 months pregnant and I couldn't suck it in. The next morning (11dpo) I took a $Tree PT and I couldn't believe it when I saw a faint second line--I've taken enough of those tests to know that it meant I was pregnant. Two days later (13dpo) the test line was darker and two days later (15 dpo) darker still.

That night and the next morning after the last PT I tried to figure a way to tell my husband (he only wanted to have two kids). I ended up just blurting it out before he went to work. He was shocked but excited---he thinks it is very uncommon for a 44 year old woman to get pregnant naturally. On the contrary, I feel young and healthy and very fertile never having considered myself done procreating. Nevertheless, he is already more involved in this pregnancy than the first two--he is looking up information online and wants to talk about it all the time.

As for me, I am floating on a cloud. I am going to enjoy this adventure as much as I can (it may be my last).
