Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

louie8 - Wednesday, 1 October Thanks for the note. The level two US doctor asked why I was even there. My blood results were fine, 1 in 3,000 for downs and T18. He did the scan anyways and say there were no cysts. In four days they just dissappeared????? All the organs checked out find so I can honestly say I am no longer worried. Baby matchs the due date and weighs the right amount. Best of luck to you.....your lil' one will be fine!
lm09 - Thursday, 17 July yeah i know how you feel. I'm 30 weeks this week and was kind of wanting to go back for another scan to check they were gone but i couldn't go thru with it just in case. I'm just going to wait and hope for the best. I haven't spoken to anyone that has had them still after 30 weeks though. Let me know if you go back. Good luck
Cinxia - Saturday, 14 June Hi there, I just read your message about your baby having a cyst. My baby had a cyst as well, but after all tests, she is normal. If you have the option of getting another scan, do it. They will check everything, bone size, heart beat, everything, and they will set your mind at ease because most will tell you right then and there if there is something wrong. Cyst happen 1/100 babies, and the actual cyst isn’t the concern, its considered a marker for other possible defects, but, relax, chances of your baby having something else wrong with it is very slim, like .01 percent, that is, according to my doctor. Relax and take it easy, don’t worry, I know its hard but try, everything will be ok.
lm09 - Friday, 13 June ALSO..... If it makes you feel better me doctor promised me that almost 60 out of every 100 scans around 20 weeks shows a cyst and that if the woman that did my scan didn't tell me i wold never have known or have to worry. Legally my doctor has to tell me if anything is wrong and he said he would not class this as being anything wrong enough to tell me so he was a bit peeved that i knew about it.
lm09 - Friday, 13 June hey, I am just new to this site and logged on in my anguish to look for an answer to the whole cyst in the brain thing with my baby. I'm feeling better now as it's been a while and my doctor reassured me that it's really common and part of the babys development. I now know that there's been so many cases of it with no problems. Do you have to go for another ultrasound? I dont have to as my doctor told me i'd be wasting my time and money and that it wouldn't matter if it were there or not anyway. Now i'll just be worried till my baby's here but i guess there will always be something to worry about! I really wouldn't worry tho if i were you. Especially if nothing else was found. Apparantly if a cyst is found they do an extremely thorough check for anything else so i guess we should think ourselves lucky that we've been thoroughly scanned and everything else is fine!!
